Overall it's quite good, but it lacks the main feature I'm looking for, practice writing letters in context of words. I'm trying to learn how to flow from one letter to the next, when to lift the pen, when to go back to add dots and diacritics. It would be good if in addition to practicing each letter form in isolation, you could also practice short words showing the letter in each position (init/med/fin).
This is the app you've been waiting for, to learn the 4 positions of every letter by writing it yourself, practicing and quizzing yourself to your heart's content. Repeat forever repeat, letter by letter, as the app mixes it up for you to make an impression in your memory. GREAT GRAPHIC ELEMENT, shows you the differentiation from your drawing to the app template. Sublime!!!
It's really clear. Great for alphabet, it's simple, and I'd totally reccomend for beginners. It's worth it to spend the money to buy full access. I think it needs an option when it gives you a spoken world in arabic and you are supposed to write it from the sound, and also the other way. Also, option to see latin transcription of letter without clicking lesson.
I'm using this for myself and young grandchildren. It's nice effort for learning shapes. Instead of "initial" use single might help but I understood after few times 😊 great way to teach without paper and pen. Please make one for numbers! This was few to no ads which really helps with learning. I appreciate your efforts.
I'm learning this language by myself from alphabet up (like bricklaying) this app is very helpful and you can retake the lessons and tests without losing progress. (in this case stars) If you've got a few minutes a day to learn basic scripts this is a go-to in my opinion.
Can't thank enough. This app has lines to adjust your cursive letters, also it teaches you whether the letter is initial, medial or final, which is not included in other apps. I also tried Write It! Korean and it is excellent as well.
Writing is one of the most effective ways of making things you learn stick, with that being said this app is perfect for that. It's not so much to click on a letter that's already there but to be able to write the letters yourself and save a lot of paper in the process that I was using.
I would like to echo Catachrest's point. The app is great, but it would be so much better if it had word writing practice, and not just the individual letters. I would implore the development team to implement this feature. Thanks.
The tutoring section was well done. But I really wish I could see the review section before I purchase. I don't even know if it makes any effort to teach reading. It might just be more quizzing on letters
A simple interface; creates a tactile relationship with the shape and sound of the language. You can turn off the English letters too.
Great great great! What i needed was to learn the letters and this app is perfect. To make sentences or learn how to put them together it's not helpful, but for that i watched Maha on youtube and after using this app, understandin what she said was much easier.
Very useful app. But I have trouble tracing certain characters like middle 'jim', even though I respect the tracing order. The letter won't draw, gets stuck.
This app is beyond amazing. If I could give it 10 stars I would. This is one of few apps that is so well structured and makes use of all forms of the arabic alif ba. It made it so easy for me to learn the alif ba. Accurate pronunciation and letter form. And plus its free to use
Awesome practice and so practical in helping you recognize the differences between the letters! It was extremely useful to me. Alhamdulilah.
Awesome! I've been looking for material to teach my friends Persian / Farsi script and this works. Persian has only a few 4 extra letters. So if you're planning to learn Persian, this works for you too. :)
Awesome app for learning the Arabic alphabet. The letters are organized in a logical way so that it feels intuitive as you progress through the lessons.
Is a great help when it comes to guidance in understanding the Arabic Alphabetical letters. Is easy and is a great exercise for you language skills as well.
So good! Exact parts of the language I was struggling with explained and tested interactively. So far it is perfect!
Perfect tool for learning to recognise all 4 forms of the Arabic letters. I love that it also shows the correct stroking to use when writing.
grat app, very easy to use, and includes sound pronunciation. ads arent annoying to deal with.
This app is useful to learn the alphabet. THERE IS NO WORD PRACTICE. There is letter practice, where you can write letters. But there is no word practice.
Great app to learn other languages, with hearing and writing makes more easier to remember, i love it.
One of best app I have ever seen. Awesome!! I would like to learn Arabic but this app so good to learn. Excellent! Thank you!!
Great for learning how to write the not just the single form of the letter but also the initial, medial, and final forms.
Very nice. Well done. Please add tests of several selected letters, coming in random order.
Great app!!! Would be even greater if there was a final test with all the letters that are taught!
Good but not great... I want to learn how to write entire words, not just letters. Knowing how to make medial letters in isolation is not the same as being able to flow from one letter to another in an actual word. My device is a tablet with a stylus. The letters in this app are so big, they feel clumsy to make. I realize most of the world ha smaller phone screens, but even there it should be possible to string a few letters together.
