Writer Challenges (Writing Prompts)

Great for writing practice -- the prompts are all submitted by users and are all very easy to work with. There is a comment and a like option, so you can like and critique other people's work. However, they sort the stories by most liked to least, so it's hard to find new writers and stories, and there isn't a page to show all the stories that you liked. It'd be nice if they made the stories sort randomly each time you looked, and if there was a page for your liked works. Otherwise, pretty good!

The prompts NEED proof reading. other than aesthetic things that's the only major con to the app. but it's a big deal to anyone who is even a little serious about writing. it's not something difficult, (English might not be your first language) just find someone to fix the grammar or read it more carefully. edit: thanks for replying. I hope you keep trying to improve the app. And I look forward to the new challenges.

A good concept but there isn't any consistency in a lot of things. Some stories are a sentence and some are just people saying hi. The app isn't too serious. You get good stories here and there but they have grammar errors. You can't change anything you published so the authors are stuck when mess up. A big problem is the user base isn't there yet. The prompts aren't add enough if you ask me but they have a solid back log. I like the app a lot but the app can be underwhelming overall.

Excellent! The app and group are fantastic, and your level of experience is strictly relative! If you're a writer (and/or reader!) of short stories, this is a must check out! The Challenges are varied, and the participants are from a wonderful and diverse international pool. And because of that, there's almost always someone on or soon to respond (and the admin is great and laid back!)! VERY-HIGHLY-RECOMMENDED!!! 👍 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Overall, the app was great. I just really do hope that there will be more prompts next time but aside from those, everything was smooth and it was a nice experience:)

First of all, I love this app. It connects your stories to the world and if your wanting to write a story but are stuck on ideas, this is the perfect app. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because the person or people who made this app said that a new challenge would be posted every week. There haven't been any new challenges for over two weeks. Other than that, I love it.

Been member of this app and Chat-Group almost a year. Enjoy very much! It has at least 4 things going for it: 1. Wide variety of challenges in ever widening scope! 2. Once a Challenge is chosen, are few restrictions (decency/redeeming value seems to cover it) and any length is okay! 3. Everybody is EXTREMELY respectful & encouraging and they ARE willing (and able!) to give constructive advice and suggestions (criticism may be requested!)! 4. They tolerate ME - no small thing! 😉

I love this app. Its great, and I 100% recomend it. but I wish there was a way to erase your story, or at least edit it. I get really stressed when posting something, so that would be really useful to me.

This app is different then other writing prompt apps. Most have thousands of prompts and only a handful of them are worth it. This app however has only a fraction of that but they are the most interesting ideas second to none kind of prompts

I love the potential. I'd love to be able to see my prompt without having to back out of writing. I'd also really like to be able to view other works written by another if I like there work. That would be cool. I'm looking forward to watching this app develope and hopefully my rating too.

Does anyone actually use this app? I see other authors have written, and commented on other's works, but when? Over a year ago? Also, I can't copy/ save my own work? What's to keep others from copying it? No active users seem to be using this app. And there seems to be no activity from it's creator, or updates in over a year... So uninstalled and will be going elsewhere.

It's a nice idea, but the writing prompts have glaring errors, which would indicate either non-native English speakers or extreme carelessness.

It's good though I think it would be better if we could personalize our names and description. In my device, I can't change my name😥 I'll change my review if you put that feature. More power to you all❤❤❤

Okay. I dont know how to rate this, because it has really good prompts, but now i cant open it! i dont know whats going on! im gonna give 5/5 for the prompts, and 1/5 for whatevers wrong with it. so thats a three

amazing and short storylines to follow, which can lead to you writing good stories on expanding..really unique app for mystery and thriller writers..

The prompts are awful. Uninspired, unoriginal, bland and very poorly written. You'd be better off with writing prompts on Reddit than this app.

There should be ranking (likes/hearts) inside of every title.. i think it is much better. id like to read the best story of others. edit: oh i see, i didnt know.

Interesting ideas, just wish there were more. It just randomizes and sometimes doesn't make any sense.

This app is good but only problem is it's old stories and prompts. I suggest adding atleast 2 promt weekly or daily.

These writing prompts are hella intersting. Also like the idea of sharing your writing or creating a prompt.

The prompts are challenging and fun to write I would recommend this to any writer from beginner to advanced

It deleted my story, I savex an unpublished story, and I cant find it anymore. If admin helps me, I'll change my review.

so it deleted half my story while i was in the middle of working on it. this is the second time its happend to the story i am currently working on can you please fix it?
