This app is trash. It seems like it could be an incredible tool for Android tablet users but instead it becomes a thing of nightmares. It not only deleted on its own chunks of dialogue but after fixing it it decided to turn all the text into caps. Then it it took scenes out of order and put them where ever it felt. I'm using it on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+.

It is a great and very helpful application. The format is amazing and well formed, it's just that sometimes it lags and make the writing process slow, sometimes it can piss the writer off. But altogether it's the best screenplay writing application I've came about.

Seriously you have to fix these self deleting and loading issues, if you can't then delete this piece of junk on Google play store, you gave it amazing features, it looks like something you can actually write on a better script, on your phone!!! but, it keep deleting stuff by itself, and loading forever, seriously you have to fix it, I can't be the first to say this I think many people already have, so people... if you can't fix it, then remove it, you have one star, you don't deserve it anyway.

It's so hard to copy or cut and then paste on another place without encountering problems. It's tiring.

I have been using this for a while now and it's quite handy. Written a number of TV scripts on it. It's good, efficient. I'd like to be able to delete a whole chunk of pages at once but can't do that. A few bugs here and there but it is good, the best on mobile for Android.

I Love this app. Love to write in this app❤️ but Unable share the files script. I'm not a Pro User. Please help me out to share files. Thanks You ☺️

I've been writing a screenplay for over a year and WriterDuet makes everything so much easier than other similar services - and for free! But you can also purchase more features.

Ive just downloaded the app and I already love the simple and intuitive setup it has. I typed a short story to test it and loved how easily I can type with no formatting issues in my way. However, I would recommend a few bug fixes. Somehow being unable to save the document, the keyboard disappearing at times when I go to click a new line of action, and the layout of the app itself isnt too mobile friendly, like when I went to edit the cover page. Otherwise, I have high hopes for this app!

I was actually looking forward to something like this. I like the interface and it is really helpful for a beginner Screenplay writer who don't know much about the screenplay formatting. But it had a lot of glitches like. It is really tough to back out from an already included section. Also when adding new scenes it was glitching while reading inputs. Please fix this issue

Great if you're opening up a document just to read it, but good luck getting any editing done with it. My boyfriend and I both downloaded the app so we could write scripts together, but as soon as we try to open the keyboard to type the entire document moves to the left, cutting off the whole left side and preventing us from seeing what we're typing. Only way to recenter it is to close it and reopen, but it just bugs out all over again. This app needs some major work to be anywhere near usable.

I like this program overall, but there are some bugs that have caused me to write this review. First, the app has been freezing lately and taking a long time to re-open after closing it (because of the freezing). Also, the scroll function on the track pad stops working without fail shortly afyer I open the app, forcing me to navigate every page with the up and down arrows instead. I know it's not a huge thing but it impacts my writing flow a lot. I hope these are fixed soon.

WriterDuet is an exceptional service, and I use this app just so I can continue using the desktop and browser version. But the app is glitchy and lacking. Downloads don't work, and I'm forced to use a standard mobile browser for copies of my work. It glitches quite a bit if the writing extends past a page break. And the features like script statistics freeze the app more times than not. However, WriterDuet as a service on a whole is great and well worth putting up with this app.

This app is awful. It barely functions and is increasingly buggy. Trying to start a new line usually results in the line failing to show up until later. Actions and dialogue constantly shifts elsewhere. The app is very difficult to use, you will usually end up fighting against the app trying to get it to even function correctly. You are better off using the website/ desktop app. Don't bother. Edit: Lines are now randomly disappearing and reappearing when deleted. I cannot save anymore. Awful app

I haven't had as many problems as others because I have a Blackberry Key2 (physical keyboard) and this app works super well with it. Glad it has a dark mode! One STUPID bug I found was that upon opening Settings I literally could not close the Settings tab! Pressing the X didn't work, it only brought up the Scenes tab, and back button won't quit out of it. Had to close the app! Needs a fix!

Been using this app for about 4 months. It's a great idea with very poor implementation. Just look for a different app. The desktop version it's usable but the mobile version doesn't work prw. When i turn my phone horizontally the keyboard covers the entaier screen. When I write something the text itself is under the keyboard and i can't see what am actually writing. Autocorrect doesn't detects a lot of mistakes I made. I will cancel my subscription at the end of the month.

Works for general writing. Try to flow between a computer and a phone and it's difficult. On both sides, so many crazy glitches, bad coding, quiet chaos all over. More so maybe than anything I've ever used. So much needs to be patched. Frustrating but usable product. At times horrible. Better than nothing 90% of the time but definitely not an award winning piece of software.

Just upgraded to Pro because this is the best product for function vs. value. BUT the mobile app does need some glitchiness sorted. Plus: - After editing the title page, I can't press the X to close it without dragging across the outliner. Have to manually close app and open again. - File management is a bit clunky, doesn't seem to be a way on the app to put things in folders or rename files. - Sometimes unclear whether changes are actually saved. Still the best, but could be better.

Been using WD for quite some time now and it's a good mobile experience-- but: * some dialog boxes on small screens go past the screen edges and can't be moved, resized or closed. * disconnect between the revisions across different platforms/versions is frustrating. Revisions in v5 and v6 aren't compatible, I guess, and this trickles over to mobile making it hard to keep revisions straight. Guy & Co are usually pretty responsive, so I suspect this will all get sorted in due time.

Add a progress bar please. I wrote a bit offline. now it says "updating offline software"but It has been loading for a length of time and I don't even know if anything is actually updating or if I'm just wasting time. Also the mobile app is incredibly frustrating to use I can't write as efficiently on the go when I have to deal with glitches and page jumps when I backspace. Sometimes when I return to the app the things I erased shows back up. Fix this app or I'm using dubscript 🤕😖

Had the free version for 12 months. 9 months was seamless, but as the file grew to 130 pages it got clunky. I Emailed the help desk not really expecting much of a response, a bot a best with a holding message. I couldn't have been more wrong. Emily working on USA time and then Guy couldn't have been more helpful. Amazing customer experience. Couldn't be happier with the product or the response. 100% recommend the paid version. The analytics, features 2nd to none. $89 a year, best on the market

Issues with the phone app: -I can only open one project per use. When I close my first opened project and try to open another project, nothing happens. Only when I restart the app can I open another project. -When page scrolling, once I reach the bottom of a page, the entire view shifts down a whole page, so I have to scroll back up when transitioning from page to page. -LAG. Incredible delay in operation. | Still, great product, concepts and company. The desktop version is perfect.

App is super slow and buggy to the point of absurdity. Can't type without letters being randomly swapped around, words getting mashed up into incoherent nonsense 80 characters long, and some pages not loading at all! Also, wrong version of the document keeps loading as default and there's no way to select the right one. Please fix the typing responsiveness! I don't want to keep fixing the bizarre letter sequences.

Trying to edit on this is incredibly difficult. The view bounces around between different pages, paragraphs end up in places you weren't expecting, and you can't trust that any changes you've made will actually be saved. Essentially only good for reading, and maybe editing a word or two.

Gonna keep it 💯. There are glitchy issues with the android version. The more you work on script the more issues you encounter being able to open the document. Where these guys do excel is the back end /customer facing support they align to their product. I would urge anyone having issues to drop the help desk an email before leaving a negative review. I have bought Apple, Microsoft, Samsung they all go wrong but none of them go the extra mile like Emily and Guy did for me.

I've been looking for something like this for my WHOLE life! X3 I just wish that it stops glitching when I try to change the colour of the text. 😑 It just doesn't allow me to type in the numbers for the colour cause everytime I try to, the other side of the screen keeps sliding in front of it instead.

An amazing screenwriting software with atrocious mobile support. This app is filled to the brim with glitches and UI bugs that make using it nearly impossible sometimes. It freezes, the menu breaks contantly, all sorts of bugs appear when you type. It's absolutely terrible. If you're writing your screenplays on the go and want a mobile screenwriting software, don't even try Writerduet. It's only good on a computer.

Oneplus 6T: The app works somewhat. sadly not really well. when scrolling through it sometimes takes the scroll as a tap. annoying when reading through it. statistics dont work for my phone and you cant close the tab that opens when you click it. there are probably way more bugs like that but i stopped using it after those.... would love to see this app function!

The PC program is amazing, but the app has been stalling and has not been working for a while now

I don't get the negative reviews. I used it for a school project. Started it on PC, finished it on my phone. When I printed it out everyone was impressed by how professional it looked, and it was super easy! Thank you so much. I love this app, can recommend it to everyone. Minor thing I have to add is that int. ext. should be translated into other languages. My drama teacher didn't even know what it meant lol

The app is great, the best free screenwriting app I've tried. I'll continue using it, which is why it would make a world of difference if the line type widget had the option to float above the keyboard! It's inconveniently placed at the top of the screen instead of being closer to the thumbs.
