WRVO Public Media App
The WRVO Public Media App allows you to listen to WRVO live, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedule for the WRVO streams all at once! You can explore On Demand content, search for stories, bookmark a story for later, and wake up to WRVO with the alarm clock!
Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!
• Listen to live streams from WRVO even while traveling! Start the app and your favorite station starts playing – no clicks to start listening.
• Integrated program schedules for every station. You can display up to three of your favorites at a time or flick once to see the schedules for all of your favorite stations.
• One click stream switching – flip over to the program you noticed on another stream with a single click.
• Listen to WRVO in the background while browsing the web or catching up on your emails!
On Demand
• Access public radio programs from multiple content providers (NPR, PRI, APM and WRVO) easily and quickly.

The app is great but recently it is not working well. The app constantly drops out and you have to reopen device and press play again or even close and restart the app. This seems to be an NPR issue because the same thing happens with my NCPR app. Both apps have been uninstalled and reinstalled, but this did not fix the problem. All other media and music apps work fine. This happens on 4g and wifi. NPR rocks anyway, just bummed about these recent issues!

I love the programming and I like the app. BUT it uses ALOT of data in the background. Even with the background data setting to off, it has used 2gb of background data in about two weeks
Use this app all the time. We are located between Rochester and Oswego and so have poor reception for both NPR stations. WRVO has tge better App.
Clear and concise functionality. You can, quickly, catch-up at any time of day.
This is an excellent really responsive app and I can't recommend it highly enough. Two years later, it is still excellent.
I can't figure out how to sign out/close this app when I am no longer using it. I finally restarted my phone to shut it down.
