WS Tool

1. I cannot persuade the app to connect. Its WiFi is visible on all of my devices. WIth the WiFi icon flashing, and connected to its network, it asks for a security code. I have entered both my router code, the one that came with the station, and every other that might be relevant. There is no indication which SSID is relevant to access or security code, or password. The app spends about 1.5 min "checking" for connection, then displays "Fail" Something is seriously wrong with the app. 2. There appears to be no way to get the WiFi symbol to flash, except to disconnct the power supply and battery; this results in total loss of settings.

Useless app. Cannot find my weather station. Have tried many many many many times on my tablet and on my phone. Keeps stopping. Every time I try I then have to input my router password --why can't this app keep password in memory? Have installed, uninstalled, deleted cache..still won't work.

Such a poor ui. So incredibly hard to link my station to Wi-Fi, but the minute I did it on iOS, it worked instantly! Displays info incorrectly... my wind speed isn't 32,000kmh and it isn't minus 99°c... If I could give less than 0 stars I would.

This app is a time waster. Had it working for a few weeks then it decided not to show all the info instead you get - 99 in most fields. Have installed it uninstaller it reinstalled but will not work. Don't waste your time with this app.

Work around for failing to show SSID; install WS View as well and run it; if it lists the SSID's, try to connect. Even if it doesn't work, close it and try the WS tool again. The SSID's may be there. Worked for me on a Samson A71. OR load it on an older phone with an older operating system.

just cant get it online, using a bt smart hub and android 9. the app cant see my 2.4ghz network and wifi icon on the station stops flashing as soon as the app starts scanning, total rubbish don't buy a station that needs this app to get it online.

Does not work! Does not display anything any longer. Have uninstalled, cleared all caches etc. But on registered device, it just shows refresh circle continuously. Tried WS view but that cannot find my device.

Tool defunct! use ambient weather osprey tool instead. This tool is not working anymore.. very frustrating. The ambjentvweather one works super fine. As well with ambient weather franchise weather stationa, as froggit

Doesn't find the console on a WiFi network. Absolutely crucial that it does so it doesn't actually deserve a star.

Bewildering ! Stuck ! Confused as to why this is not connecting. Plug and Play needs to be applied to this device !.

App no longer works have tried resetting , reconnecting nothing works. It must need an update but there nothing........

No found my device.The app says that I need to turn on only 2.4ghz but WHAT SHOULD I DO IF NO OPTION TO TURN OFF 5Ghz?? Developer team you are totally rubbish.

This app is gone off line, I never usually comment on apps but I will here just to let everyone know that there is a better app be the same developer called "ws view" search for it here, the app is a lot lot better! 👍

Was a good app. A pity it doesn't connect any more. WS View does, but this one doesn't.

If the app cannot find SSID of your network, use Ambient Weather Osprey Tool instead - works like charm.

Absolutely rubbish spent days playing trying to get it to work. Still no luck. Should be taken down

SSID detection doesnt work on Android 9.0 pie on OnePlus 6. Keeps giving unkown SSID even when im on the 2.4Ghz network

I should have read the reviews before wasting my time with this. It does not connect as others have said.

Just not good enough. I've been at it for 4 hrs trying to get it all to work. I'll be making a complaint to the Australian Consumer Commission because it is does not do what it promises.

This app on Android doesn't display all the required fields to setup the transfer between the weather station and wunderground. I ended up get a friend's iPhone to complete the task.

This app is useless. Keeps timing out when trying to connect to router. Station is next to it.

Worked fine on Samsung Galaxy s7 with no issues what so ever ....thanks team.

Tried to use android version just keeps timing out, poorly made app, with no other way to join the unit to wifi. Not impressed. got it to connect with an iPad 1st try so give that a go. make sure connect to 2.4ghz not 5.0ghz wireless and it isn't a guest network. downloaded ws view app and updated firmware much more useable than this app

Easy to use. Make sure you have your display plugged into mains power otherwise wifi wont connect.

There is no Tech support, I've emailed them weeks ago and no response. The app don't display correctly. Everything is negative Temps. (Basically ALL data is minus status). I wish I could upload a screen shot.
