The app is passable, when it's working. I need to use the direct connection feature every time to be able to see the device. Sometimes using direct connection crashes the app 🤷.

Works well once you get the setup sorted. Weather Stations need a rename feature because once you get several on the list you don't know which is which.

It works, once you've guessed what the app wants you to do (connect to your station's wifi), but it's a bit of a mess. One particularly annoying quirk I'm getting, is that my device list is empty. After the initial setup, there's no way to change the station settings, and for example add a server, without going through the whole setup again. I hope this can be fixed, but it doesn't seem this app is getting much attention anymore.

The GM1000 stopped working after a firmware upgrade. Disappointed at beginning and gave a low rating. However, after calling the company, they fixed the software bug in about a week and provided an exchange. Friendly communication and responsible! The UI of this APP is not the best but generally makes sense and it may not be realistic to demand more for a product at its current price. The highlight is that GW1000 allows uploading data to user's own cloud, will try!

Frustrating. This app is pretty straightforward and user friendly if not basic. The problem is that there is no assistance when it doesn't go right. It refused to get the weather station to connect to WiFi. It was only reading reviews of the app found you need to turn off mobile data on phone to get it to work. I spent an hour trying just for this simple fix. Why doesn't the app suggest this?

I set up my weather station using this app a few months back. Everything worked well until recently when it just went offline. Since then I have spent hours trying to reconnect to no avail. There is no documentation on how to overcome this problem so I deleted the device and started from scratch but it just won't register my device any more. I will replace my weather station with something that doesn't rely on such a poor app and non existent support.

The hardware is pretty great but I'm not a fan of the app. Every time I open it, it starts at a configure new device screen. Then I exit out of that and it gives me a weather underground screen (I'm not using weather underground so this is useless). At this point I can access the menu, so I open that. Then I can click Device List (I only have one) and click my device. Finally I can see the temperature. That is WAY too much to go through every single time I want to see how hot it is!

I'd like to give more stars, but there seems to be a problem. The w/s configured ok and connected to WU, but the WU dashboard only works very occasionally. Frustrating to say the least. Is this the fault of the app, or WU? Probably the app, but unless it's fixed, the app is of very limited use beyond configuring the weather station.

Edit: After many, many tries, finally have something showing up in the app after app "verifies" connectivity with no errors. Ended up repowering the gateway AND also had to reboot my wifi router. Then things magically worked. It even prompted for a firmware update and I can see my device. If the app was having problems while verifying it should have displayed the error/problem, not just go into a "semi-crashed" state. ------- Bought the gateway and some temp/humid sensors. I am able to add them to my network, but during verify, the app goes to a blank Device screen. I can see my data on WunderMap and Ecowitt Weather map, but I cannot see the devices in the app. This is very troublesome because I am unable to change any parameters that would normally be allowed if the devices actually showed up on screen. I've tried 5 times, using 2 different android devices but the app always fails.

Not the worst app, but... * Needed to provision my EcoWitt gw1000. Getting it to pair with my ntw took several attempts. One tip in the manual (not the app) was to disable mobile data on the phone. App could suggest that, instead of reading the troubleshooting section of the manual. User experience could be improved. * App starts on the 'Config New Device' screen, rather than the Home screen. * To get the graphs/stats, browser goes to the ecowitt site. * No GCM push notifications for alerts!

Instructions are very poor. Thankfully for other reviews telling you to turn off your mobile data because i never would of been able to pair my weather station. So if your having trouble pairing make sure your mobile data is off even know you are connected to your wifi. My WU dashboard still doesn't show any weather information but I can access it by pressing "Back" then "menu" then "manage ecowitt" then selecting my weather station.

I really like the app, use it for many years. But since last update all daily graphs disappeared. The app now only shows actual data. To me this is useless, because I can see this on my weatherstation too. The daily graphs are why I even have the app. Hope it can be fixed soon

i don't know if its WU or this app, but it is horrible at updating.. constantly pulls old data points sometimes 1-2 days behind.. sometimes refreshing works sometimes it doesn't.. i really dislike this app, but it seems to be the only that one that works to register with WU which also is constantly giving me errors.. i love my PWS and the at home readings are good but i want to be able to access anywhere and this app is just plain unreliable..

The instructions are lacking: I tried to add GW1000 wifi device,it didn't connect, and I couldn't understand why. Then I saw the review that it worked on iPhone and started my iPad.When I reached the step I was having problems with, I got way clearer instructions: after reboot you must to check your wifi networks list,and you will find the internal-no internet wifi for device. You need to connect to it, and then everything goes more or less OK on android as well, but it is not clear from message

At first I couldn't connect my console to my router, but email support suggested I try to configure my console after turning of my phone's mobile data, and that did the trick. Then everything worked perfectly. My Personal Weather Station is an Ecowitt 2910c. I'm very happy with it, and it also connects with Weatherunderground.

Each time I leave the range of the gateway with phone app it it changes which sensor is in certain plants making it impossible to use. I have change the sensor placement and label in app each time I leave the house. Complete waste of money..

The data isnt sent anymore to the weather stations. no help anywhere. What could it be? my internet connection works, i reset the device and re-added the stations but none gets the update. I ve also tried with your other app "WS tool"

Awkward interface. App always opens on the device setup screen. Only shows data from devices when phone is connected to the same wifi network as the sensor and wifi gateway, which defeats the purpose of a wifi connected device.

Terrible user unfriendly app that lacks everything it needs to do. It takes a huge amount of actions to set up a weather station and still doesn't show any data at all.

This app will not work. It says it is connected but then says connection fail and will not progress. very disappointing, any suggestions? Now it is working, no idea why, but happy it is. hence improved rating.
