Grrrrrrrrr still can't use the app!!!! Please fix this!!!! I can't even get the app to open... says my connection is slow and just turns and turns and turns... i can open all my other apps. So I'm going to assume it's not really my connection 🤷♀️ Now it opens and i just get a black screen ugh
I love the new CU name. Though it threw me off at first. No problems with it now. I love Ascent and like their new look and the app is awesome. Easy to use and navigate. I use the one on Harrison and absolutely love their customer service, the tellers are so kind and they treat me like I've known them all my life. Just love it all! Thank you Ascent 💞
Is this app ever going to get fixed?!? It takes too much time to go through my internet on my phone. The whole point of an app is so its quick and accessible. Please fix ASAP! It is beyond frustrating.
Since Weber State credit union was taken over by Ascent credit union the app now sucks. Doesn't load, when it decides to it has a black screen. Please fix I need to make my truck payment thanks.

Ease of use
Crashes when the app requests camera permissions and I tap "only this time" (this is new to Android 11). I also had to reinstall the app to use mobile deposit after the crash - the button doesn't respond. Android 11 Developer Preview was released 16 months ago. Get your act together.

Been using for years great app. Very user friendly. Recent update has not applied internally to app itself stating it needs update from in app but updated this morning
I find it stunning that my little Credit Union has a better app than a number of large banking apps I've seen.
I got this app to do mobile deposit. I had to guess at the steps needed to do this. Once I got logged into the app and selected mobile deposit, I got a message telling me I need to be logged into the app. Not helpful. I faintly recalled a teller mentioning something about setting up the app online, so I started the search there. Eventually, I found "Settings" and "Mobile Deposit Enrollment." The next step was easy - check a box. I logged back into the app (for the 5th or so time, since I went in and out of it a few times before heading to the web site.) I joyously completed the deposit of one check. My attempt to deposit a second check has been unsuccessful. For the first few attempts the app was unable to connect to my camera. After logging out and back in a couple times, it moved on from that error to a completely black screen and it locked up the app. I closed the app again and tried again. Same. After closing the app again. I checked my camera, and it opened to a black screen and no functionality. I have NEVER had a problem with my camera. (This is a fairly new Samsung Galaxy 7.) I rebooted my phone and the camera works. Phew. I'll continue to attempt the second check, but....
Every time I try to deposit my check through this app, i get a message telling me that I have to download the mobile app to do so. Its an inconvenience to offer mobile deposit, but to always have an error forcing me to go to the bank.
Works nice, but mobile deposit says I need to use the app... Which I am. Fix this please!
It would be nice if they would integrate the fingerprint function to be used with the password/login
I haven't had any issues with the app and I even tried the mobile check deposit which went through next business day
My whole entire experience with Weber State credit union/New name ascent. Has been the WORST experience EVER. SO hard to even pay or put money in the account. Not to mention watch out! my car was repposed for no reason. Other than a mistake on there end. And they still charged repo fees. I've also has a lady add extra to the loan account. It will get fixed. Just FYI BE CAREFUL!!
