WSFA First Alert Weather

I love getting notifications from the WSFA news and also the weather. I use the weather radar map to see exactly where it's raining in my area. Works great with Samsung Galaxy S22.

Very reliable when it comes to weather updates and radar. But when it comes to hourly temperature readings it is not as accurate as the weather Channel app. I rely on the hourly temperature because I live in a camper and have to turn off my water when it freezes outside.

Severe weather and lightning notifications are great and work as they should. Forecasted weather is almost always accurate. However when using the app and the screen times out or is locked, the app must restart itself. This is particularly frustrating, and potentially dangerous, when trying to watch a live feed of severe weather coverage due to a 15 second advertisment at the beginning of the live video feed that must play each time the app is reloaded and the video started again.

For a long time, at least 6 months, this app will not load up/populate with any weather info; however it shows in my apps as downloaded and Open. I've tried to re-,downloading app and re-opening....does not work. When I first set up on my phone, it worked every time I clicked on the icon on desktop. It's pretty much useless now. I would like the app to work for me again like it's supposed to.

Exceptionally informative and easy to follow. The layers are phenomenal. I can actually anticipate and relay to family members, when to expect bad weather or just some relief or excitement on the arrival of the allusive snow sightings and rain for the gardens and lawns. Beats the Weather Bug and the Weather Channel's interfaces. Great app! Plus, the ads are noticeable but not obstructive. They are almost subliminal.

Really like the radar part. I even use it when I travel in Africa! I can scroll the map to any part of the globe....

It is a good source for weather. But app does not always work and the radar is slow.

Had to uninstall this app. After the last update it completely broke the app for me. Temperature bar was no longer working unless I manually opened the app to make it change/update. All yesterday during the bad weather the app kept crashing and freezing. This used to be my favorite weather app but it's pretty much useless at this point. I downloaded another app and it's working perfectly. Please fix this..I would reinstall if it actually worked again.

They always do their best to explain what to expect and are a good resource for emergency notifications.

I wish there was a way to be even more specific about alerts and when they are coming. I don't need to know a cold front or hot front days in advance or at 9pm. I really just want life threatening weather alerts. 9am-9pm could be heads up coming weather (with opt out options) then a 2 hour warnings for potentially serious weather. Plus, Emergency weather alert would pop up anytime.

This app was working fine until the last update. I used it every day. It crashes about 5 seconds after opening, every time. If you dont fix this problem, will have to delete this app and use another one. Like i have to do now! I hope you can correct this problem. Thanks

Decent layout, great options for alerts and radar. Just wish there was a "light" setting that wasn't so graphics heavy as it requires more bandwidth than my internet connection can sometimes supply. I live in a rural part of town with slow internet. Otherwise great weather app.

The app is great....the updates to it, not so much. During the last storm, I kept going to the app to see what was going on. Finally gave up on that and just went to WSFA on Facebook to see live updates, etc. Also, would get alerts every two minutes but without any real data.

This app is a true lifesaver! When bad weather is near most times the satellite goes off and we would be left without information if not for the WSFA Weather app and the alerts. This still allows us time to prepare and be safe. Thank you for all that you do to keep us safe.

I have several weather apps on my phone and the WSFA Weather app is the one I check daily and the one k rely on when severe weather strikes. Since it includes hourly and daily forecasts, as well as radar and up-to-the-minute weather news, I can get everything I need here. Plus, the WSFA team is made up of some really excellent weather experts!

Great app, but where is live stream? I do not have cable, so a lot of times I rely on Facebook live or the live stream in the app, but it's so hard to find. I wish they had a direct link on the home page to view live. Other than that it's great. We have an AWESOME WSFA weather team.

Very informative! I use it daily to plan when I will go for a run and what to wear to work based on their forecasts. Meteorologists at WSFA12 are the best! I enjoy being able to submit photos of weather (like snow and hail), and they've even featured them on Facebook!😀

The WSFA weather app is user friendly and most helpful to me. Especially over these last 2 weeks with 3 severe weather events where we lost power...but I was able to still get updates and keep up with what was happening! So thankful for this app, Josh and crew helping us to stay educated and safe!!

It doesn't go off even tho I have all the alerts "on". I tune in to WSFA and catch the updates, & also have a weather radio. It's not great either. When TV goes off, I'm in big trouble! Too bad my WSFA weather alert use to work, no more. 😖

It would never load for me. I would get a notification but when I would open it there was a blank screen with thier background. Very disappointed I needed this during the bad weather. I will be using other services in the future

Excellent. But would like meteorologist or weather reporter to also announce with a severe weather threat what to do if you are unable to leave out of a mobile home upon a Tornado threat local to my area. I am stuck, especially during night threats. It gets very scarey if you have no one to get you away from the threatened area.

Really like the app. Easy to use and it seems to be updated regularly. I play a lot of golf and the app allows me to determime the weather so I can plan my day. Also, keeps me updated on stormy days. I highly recommend making to 12 weather app part of your day.
