WSHU Public Radio App
The WSHU Public Radio App allows you to listen to WSHU live, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedule for all the WSHU streams at once! You can explore On Demand content, search for stories, bookmark a story for later, and wake up to WSHU with the alarm clock!
Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!
• Listen to live streams from WSHU even while traveling! Start the app and your favorite station starts playing – no clicks to start listening.
• Integrated program schedules for every station. You can display up to three of your favorites at a time or flick once to see the schedules for all of your favorite stations.
• One click stream switching – flip over to the program you noticed on another stream with a single click.

On Demand
• Access public radio programs from multiple content providers (NPR, PRI, APM and WSHU) easily and quickly.

WSHU is on all day in my.house and app is great if I'm away from home. It's also very handy if I come in and want to know what's playing Ike right now.
I used to lisen to WSHU while I was a house painter on the North Fork of Long Island. Then I had a job for a while that didn't allow for radio listening. Now that I'm at a desk, it's exactly what I need to keep me simulataneously sane and informed. The app is particularly great because I like to play games on my breaks and, if there's an ad, it automatically goes back to the news once it's over, similar to Spotify. Listening on the website, I had to constantly go back and forth between apps.
Pretty darn good. Doesn't ALWAYS update too the latest date, sometimes gets a little hung with memory retention, I'd be inclined to rate a 4 as I usually would for something I like, but this is just GREAT content.
This app contains trackers, public radio and uses our data because we download the app, shameful.

Reliable streaming of WSHU and NPR shows
Nice that I can hear my favorite public radio station live anywhere. I also love how the archive past episodes for a while; now I'll never miss "Wait! Wait! Don't Tell Me!"
Audio doesnt stop or start when bluetooth is connected/disconnected. Doesnt stop other audio when it starts.
Big improvement. Stream does not drop anywhere near as frequently as the old app did.
Streaming stops once in a while. No reason. Been listening forever; Sunday Morning Baroque. They accept donations. Don't be shy....

Sunday Baroque app brings me Sunday Baroque broadcast. It does not keep me connected to the Sunday Baroque family.
Digital signal has not worked for several weeks now
Great station, and great choices for listening
Signal drops out for no apparent reason.
Few drops, sometimes hard to navigate Playlist search. That should be more obvious.
