The check deposit capture is really below average. What does "turn the check 90 degrees" mean. Instructions should be given before the action not after. Other banks turn on the phone light to improve the picture.
This app is outdated at best and the bill payment system is absolutely a joke. It takes as system that is supposed to be a convenience and makes it literally as humanly inconvenient as possible. There's no way to change it alter a schedule payment besides the next payment and if there is it is not easily accessed as I have had this app and used it for years and can't figure it out.
The app is generally convenient, but the check deposit feature needs work. It snaps a photo of the check automatically and too quickly, instead of allowing you to snap a photo of the check when you're ready and have it lined up, and there sb instructions in the app for the mobile deposit text that you need to add to the check endorsement, instead of flashing it, again too quickly, as you take a photo of the back of the check.
I was given inaccurate or garbled information on the app name. I was misled as to where to get the app. My frustration with Washington Trust is quite high
App is only Okay. It does the job but is pretty basic. One of the major issues I have is that the app WILL NOT show pending transactions. The bank will tell you there is another app for debit cards to show pending transactions and such but it requires a separate login... Yah no thanks that should be Integrated and the fact it's not is kinda a joke. I know I can balance everything manually on my end which is exactly what I do... But the app should really have that all in one place.
disappointed, this app is slow and clunky compared to my other online bank, and I had to buy a new phone to use it.
Good app, only 2 things that could be better. 1. having to click 3 times to set a bill pay date is just a little annoying 2. pending transactions don't show up same day, sometimes not even 2 days Other then that it is easy to use and navigate.
It works well but did not detail endorsement requirement until ready to take picture. 2 different endorsement wordings in same app. I suppose if I used it every day I would remember "correct" verbage. Will continue to use.
Couldn't understand why my ARM card couldn't withdraw from savings acct but hubby told me that the savings acct not connected to ATM in case stolen, so THANKFUL you made that work....💖

Takes to many times to make a mobile deposit very difficult. Other banks I have don't have that problem.
The app needs to be updated, the UI does not always work and I have to restart the app because it freezes every other time I open it. When it works, it's slow.
Easy to use. Safe. Love the texting feature. Checks all balances and recent transactions with a simple text.
I live in MI and without this app there would be no easy, timely, or safe way for paper checks mailed here to be deposited when autodeposit from the check source is not available. thanks so much!
Absolute junk this worthless app does nothing you can't even open it. All it does is tell you in proper credentials it's a waste of time. it's not even worth 1 star.
wish my pmts could be sent accordingly I would like the payment sent at least three days from the time I have the money withdrawn and you make me wait too long for the money to go to my bills? I'd like to know why and I think it's too expensive to pay $30 if you want it to be sent in one day that's really not fair very very outrageous! that your prerogative. I guess that's why your bank and you get rich? haha I just wish you could send the money within 72 hours for a fee of say $2
Pending bills are not accounted for in the balance. And once they are"sent" there Is no record of it until days later once it posts.
Slow and not very functional. The check deposit feature is not user friendly.
Works perfectly allows for immediate transfer of money from account to account almost instantly
I like this app but I can't figure out how to set my fingerprint up with access to app it was set up at one time then just disappeared
I do not like it taking automatic pictures I would like to take the picture it keeps rejecting my check and I'm just running a test deposit it is terrible

not accurate or on par of other banks operating today seems as they are in stone ages. very confusing says real time banking but nothing is ever up to date worst banking app ever
The only thing you could improve upon is the time it takes for a debit to an account to post - it should be instantaneous when you use your debit/credit card
This seems like a secure very easy to understand banking app and it propmted me to fill in all required fields with no confusion
It's ok. i liked it better when i could use my finger print to open the app but thats been changed.
App needs work to be competitive with other banks. Love the bank itself but just wish the app was better
The bank is constantly upgrading their software and previous commenters will find that pending debit card transactions are now displayed. That is a big plus because I too could not reconcile my balance without full details. It is especially helpful for those who both shop and do their checkbook on weekends.
