WTHR has the most accurate weather around, it's the ONLY weather that I trust! I love that they show the good and the bad news; ending each night's broadcast with something on a good note.

WHY??? You already had a great app. This new format is horrible! It's hard to scroll, hard to navigate, way too many ads and click bait and it's completely been oversimplified and lacking any real news content. The weather section is a nightmare to use and find anything useful let alone scroll through. Whoever made this decision to switch to the new format needs to find a new line of work. I'm switching to another local news app for sure after this debacle!

It is simply atrocious trying to get the video forecast to play on this glorified web-browser. This station has the best forecast models around, but this recent app design is a big failure. For starters it takes forever to navigate to the video forecast, which ends up just being a mirror of the standard website (which works fine on a PC browser by the way). Then trying to play the video is a trip back to the 90s. The video queues forever, then plays 4 seconds, repeat. I make sure I'm on Wi-Fi, set quality to lowest, it doesn't help. I'm done with this one. Please let me know when you've brought in a new app team and I'll gladly check in again.

Almost useless due to slow speed. I recieved a notification from this app today. I decided to time its response. When I pressed the notification the logo appeared. It took just over two minutes to change screens. I then got a notice that told me it could not reach the Internet. I pressed the "Try Again" button (I knew nothing was wrong with my connection (I am an IT professional). After 61 seconds it connected, the ads appeared, but not the story. After another 38 seconds the story came thru.

This app is horrible. I get notifications constantly but when I try to open the app to read the story, it takes at least 90 seconds (or longer) to even open. Channel 13 is my favorite news station but unfortunately, uninstalling the app and finding a different local news app. Disappointing!

This version of the app is disorganized, visually unappealing with its different sized boxes, repeats stories for days on end and is full of clickbait. The old app was much better. I find myself turning to other news stations' apps more often even though I prefer WTHR as a news source in Indianapolis.

The updated app runs a little slow and seems to glitch more. I did not experience this with the previous version. I preferred the weather and top news stories and the overall navigation of the site ALOT better on the previous version. However... I love WTHR and it is my number one news station.

Not a fan of the new version of this app. It is not easy to find the traffic maps and sometimes it isnt there at all. Weather is the same way. I'm ready to just get rid of it. I don't come to the app to read stories, i can view that through WTHRs shares through facebook and twitter. I want the old version back!

Not a fan! What was wrong with what worked? New isn't always better! Edit 8/18/2020 I gave you time to fix your mistakes with this new app. I didn't want to be labeled as a"boomer", but I'm done. It's not worth the frustration. Every time I click on a story, I have to think, " is this a real story, or an ad?" I can't stand wading through all the trash that now seems to be so prevalent in this new app. When I do click on a real story, it's not even going there. It is showing more ads. Why?

I don't think it's the old app so much as it's the lack of updating of stories. Too many times I gotten on the app and the top or near the top story is several days old. Same with the high school scores. That's when I jump to another local station to get the latest info

This app crashes every time... about 60 sec after starting!!! Used to be a good app. WHY??

"New format" is terrible. Lacking content and infusing ads anywhere they can including non skippable 15 to 30 second ads before each video plays. An ad in between nearly every news story. No more local news vs national categories. Traffic map feature is gone. Weather tab brings phones to a crawl. You guys really thought this was better?

No weather app should include ads that are disguised as "click here to view a message about your area" ESPECIALLYwhen a big snowstorm is coming! It is an excusable. That is not an ad that should be on any weather app. It is clickbait!!!

I used to love this app but now it won't open. I get alerts to news stories but I can't open them. I've tried uninstalling and installing it again and rebooting my phone but neither helped. This has been going on for the last several days. I give up. I'm moving on to a different station's app.

Should have left it alone. Hard to navigate, video lags after long ads, ads EVERYWHERE, layout is confusing. Used old version for years and always recommended it! Uninstalling new version and definitely won't be recommending it to no one.

Was just fine until reformatted recently. Tried un and re-installing many times. Yet every time I clicked on the weather app I was kicked off app. Ridiculous. Gave this review months ago yet no one tried to solve issue. Am deleting app and getting different news and weather app.

The new app is harder to navigate in to find the info you want. I used to use the traffic updates and map to plan my daily commute, if I wanted to use Waze I would download the Waze app. The new traffic map doesn't provide the info that I need and it is just bulky to use.

How in the world do you vote in the daily poll on the app? I have looked and looked and it is nowhere to be found. If it's not an option, it should not be offered as one when asking people to vote. Also, I agree with a lot of the other reviewers - I don't think this new app is that great. The older version was better - especially the weather radar feature, which I use more than anything.

Great news app! News is up-to-date. Screen layout is very user friendly. Advertisement is not overwhelming and nothing inappropriate. News category feature at the bottom of the screen is a nice touch.

Being a new resident to the state, This app. is fantastic in keeping me updated in all areas of news, weather, traffic, events, and human interest stories, just to name a few !!! Keep up the great work !

Very slow to load and lags terribly. Difficult to navigate. I use this app mostly for the weather blog and I can't even get to it because the lag is so bad. The previous app was much better.

Slow, ads really slow it down. Less content than previous version. Would be better to roll back to the previous version. Not really that useful.

New update really took a turn for the worse. Extremely glitchy, laggy, and far from user friendly. The old adage "if it ain't broke don't fix it" seems fitting.

Do not install. Their meteorologist is a joke. She doesn't even know how to use her own equipment and she's been a part of the station for years. The app by default sells your private information and you have to dig through the settings in order to find the option to opt out. A downpour is considered flooding if it's up over your toes which is absurd. Where I come from flooding is waist deep, period. Has a time wasting intro animation, I don't need to be told what time of day it is lul.

Stopped working, uninstalling & reinstalling doesn't help. When will it be fixed?

I like the way they were doing the weather here before. It was more IN DETAIL for a WHOLE WEEK at a time. Now it is more complicated and harder to understand and they only show ONE DAY AT A TIME which makes it DIFFICULT to people to make plans PAST that ONE DAY. BRING BACK the ORIGINAL weather that they had on here and I will use it ALOT MORE AND give it FIVE STARS !!! UNTIL THEN, I guess I will have to look-download something else

Live video is horrible! It doesn't start until after programming has started, if even. I have missed the Covid update the last two weeks because your app doesn't work right.
