This version is definitely a downgrade from the last. Radar seems glitchy and less detailed than previous version. The general glaring whiteness of the background is taxing on the eyes, a "dark mode" would be less of an assault on the optic nerve.
Was a great app until they removed the daily predicted low temps.
Probably my biggest complaint is the frequency of the weather updates.. If I don't physically go into the app off and on seems the notification for temp doesn't update all the other apps automatically update at least every 30 minutes.. I normally put my phone in airplane mode or turn it off.. App doesn't even start when I start my phone... Coming out of airplane mode it doesn't update
Since downloading this app my Android has not run well. The radar is not always moving and when I go into settings to remove it, it doesn't show up! This is not ok. I've looked in all areas and although on the desktop it's nowhere to be found. Does anyone have any ideas? I am disabled and a senior citizen who needs this phone to work well.
At first I really liked the app, but then got annoyed with all of the notifications. it also seemed to wear my phone battery down too. It has a lot of really nice features and local info though. I will try it a little longer, but if I notice that it is indeed wearing my battery down too quickly then I will remove it.
App hasnt worned for over a month. I have deleted and reinstalled it several times, but same thing happens every time I reopen it. It just hangs on the app load screen with a squerzed image and never does go anywhere - just an eternal load screen. Pretty worthless app now.
the header and the warnings take up half of the screen. the hourly forecast buttons are backward. the ability to go directly to what I want to see has been eliminated. REALLY LOUSY UPGRADE. words on the screen are cut off due to the banners. clicking on the banners doesn't take me to the information.
Love your station but will have to uninstall the app. After an update today each time the temp increases or decreases by 1 degree my phone vibrates. I have all settings on do not disturb. Thank you...Now using Fox 59 App. No vibrations.
Slow to load and not easy to use like other weather apps. Multiple clicks to get to the weather. Radar should fill the screen on first load with the weather at the top so users can glance quickly at the conditions.
Used to love this app but it keeps crashing. After removing and installing it several times, decided just to remove it and move on to another weather app. Super disappointed.
Looks just like ch8 weather app. And both are click and scroll happy apps. Why cant we get a one screen 10 day forecast. No scrool/swipe pages are easier to read quickly. Back to school ch13.
Update: now the widget won't update either... it used to be great, now it is horrible, go back to the old widget. new widget is huge, I liked the smaller one, and now it says 0 degrees in my task bar. Please fix.
This app is not as user friendly as previous versions. The radar is hard to understand. It doesn't always open and load.
I just installed this app last night and it keep saying zero degrees in the upper left corner on my phone all the time I think I'll go back to the Weather Channel app.
Good and bad. I like to watch the video forecast nightly. 50% of the time it's not available, especially the last week
Love wthr but recently the picture to the live news and weather forecast does not load. I can hear it, but not see it.
the audio advertisement that plays when i load the app prevents me from using it. removing the app now!!!!!
ok when it works. temp and weather notification is almost always wrong. temp will say 0 or get stuck for days.
Installed & about 3 minutes later it crashed & never did recover. Don't waste your time, it's worthless!
A total waste of time. Once was my go to weather app. But now is Bloated with non pertinent information. NO information one wants.

Channel 13 is absolutely the best all the way around in all coverage from news, weather,sports you name it!!!
To much junk, numbers and letters overlaping each other. No quick weather results
Uninstalled. Sick of the political adds. Installed another channel's app that doesn't have them.
Used this app for years, after last update and loosing satalite imagery from radar I'm currently trying a hand full of other weather apps. Not sure why it was removed or why a few months ago the past and future timeline changed to basically nothing. Seems everything that set this app apart has been lost and the cosmetics of the app is the priority not the function of the app. Good luck developers you had a good run
