WTOL First Alert Weather

This app is great for use to determine the weather, all on its own. I do use it in conjunction with my Fox 2 Detroit app, though, to see what's happening weather-wise, because you never want to only take on source's word for anything.

I am a weather super fan, this app is awful. You get the Marco's Pizza ad at first and then a bunch of ads interwoven with the weather. I would rather just Google The weather channel and get my 10-day forecast just so much better. The sad part is WTOL news is my favorite news station and I can choose to watch both Cleveland and Toledo, but this app just stinks...nope, deleted it.

Great, but it friendly weather people forget to inform the general public about cloud seeding being the real weather. Woke up one morning, and it was a beautiful clear day outside. See like 12 jets or something spreading this white stuff in the sky. Roughly and hour or two later, the sad only over car, and caused the rest of the day to be cloudy. The next few days it was rainy and cloudy. I don't even know what to say, this is so stupid. So I'll be debris and give a 2 star.

I really liked the app, but for the last several months the video forecasts & updates will not play, I just get a blank screen. Since I don't work first shift, I can't watch the forecast on tv & rely on the app for that information & it has been frustrating and disappointing. I love WTOL & it's meteorologists. Please fix this problem soon!!!!

I've used this app for years but recently the widget isn't showing up correctly on my Pixel 3XL. I ended up switching to the 13abc weather app since their widget worked correctly.

Although the forecasts are usually accurate they are rarely able to be seen on this app. The plethora of advertising loads up without a problem every time I open the app but the weather info rarely ever loads. Out of opening the app 10 times the advertising loads in a flash every time and the weather data only loaded twice. When I receive a push notification I am taken to the app only to see ads and no weather data or anything relevant to the notification. Please fix this... very disappointing.

I really like having this app available especially the radar when I'm wondering if it's going to snow or rain. The only thing that I don't like is sometimes I have trouble getting the video to play and I don't know why that happens.

I'm a outdoor person including boating and traveling in Ohio and Florida. I use WTOL weather a lot, it's easy !

A useful app, but VERY invasive/spammy... constantly sends out alerts and notices, even when not an emergency or severe weather... the phone's notification lights start to drain the phone batteries if you can't look at them immediately... and turning off push notifications kind of defeats the purpose of the app...

This app keeps shutting down and I'm basically done with it and I'll go to another Channel because nobody wants to fix it and it's getting really annoying but yet you want high ratings well you're not going to get them as long as it's doing this and as far as you fixing the performance issues well you did not so please do something about this

This used to be my go to for weather. This app is junk! I have Uninstalled it then installed it again. I have reported the issue and nothing has been fixed it still crashes upon loading.....very disappointed :( will rate much higher if you fix it!!

the weather does not change from Carey Ohio to Port Clinton Ohio. you know the temp/weather has to be different. There is no option to update the app. you have to delete it and install it again. still no change. I may be deleting this app for good.

They have really started hyping up the weather, something that they did not used to do. I don't need to be reminded 100 times a day how miserable it is going to be. just keep repeating the same stuff but also make change after change on the forecast. used to love this, but has become cumbersome.

Always worked great but the last month it doesn't show me radar or daily forecast

This is a personal preference but I feel this is the best weather app you can have in your mobile phone. They send alerts to you for bad weather heading your way. I just feel its the best weather app for northwest Ohio.

I like the radar, the ten day forecast and the weather videos.

The app keeps crashing every time it's opened! You're old app was much better. When I want to check the radar I want an app I can depend on and this one is not it!!! You're losing a lot of people over this crappy app! Get someone new because who ever did this doesn't know what they are doing!!

WTOL's First Alert Weather is the only reason to watch the news at all. Everything else causes unnecessary stress and fear and watching it is a waste of time. Love the app!

being honest, I live in Findlay, and this has to be one of the most inaccurate sites I have ever used. I use weather apps to send people to work different jobs, always weather pending. Workers are upset with me using this app. I have called off so many times because it says rain all day, 80% 90% so on.. never happens as they predicted. I hav lost so much money because of this. I have never been a fan of 13, but maybe I should check them out.

I've watched wtol forever so of course I would give them a good eating. I still remember how they literally saved my life with a weather alert when I was in my 20s Andi am in my 60s now. Thanks

I use to love this app until recently. It now stops working and closes. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling numerous times over the past few weeks. It continues to stop working. :(

I grew up with channel 11 weather. Very reliable, accurate, and informative weather app. The app itself is very easy to engage. Thank-You Channel 11👍
