Overall a pretty good weather app. Does not track my location as well as other apps but the radar maps are spot on and very accurate. Notifications are a little annoying as I cannot weed out some without turning off all but it is tolerable. The detail on the maps for topography is incredible and sometimes I just pull it up to view the lay of the land where I am located. Pretty cool.
I love the ease of use; includes all the information I'm looking for except a history of the barometric pressure which is important to me due to arthritis in my back & headaches when the barometer changes quickly due to storm fronts. With a history of the barometric pressure this app would be perfect!
Great app but lately the advisory notifications are driving me nuts! I swipe it away and the I instantly get the notification again. Maybe make it so that once I've been notified and acknowledge that I've seen the warning, that it no longer shows up again for that 24 hour period.
Easy to navigate & adjust settings. Have confusion with Alerts & Local Station Notifications pop-up "chime" differentiation in settings. All in all, I couldn't have designed the site better myself! Great Job!!!
Like others have said about the constant notifications. Fog alert, now freeze warning. Ok, I know. Swipe away & it is immediately notifying me again. It's annoying & will probably end up uninstalling the app if not fixed.
WVLT weather is the best for local weather info,Heather Haley does an awesome job,as well as the rest of the weather team.The app itself could use some work as it is very glitchy and the videos very seldom load,when they do they freeze,it isn't my internet or phone,I have it on 3 different phones and the problem is the same.Loyal WVLT watcher🍁🧡🍁🧡🍁
I liked knowing that it was giving me the weather temperature and forecast for my area from a local channel but it will not update the temperature without opening the app everytime, it should update the temperature at least every 30 minutes on its own. For that reason I only gave this app 2 star's.
This app is great for me. I can track storms on the map so I can make sure all of my livestock are safely secured and prepared for whatever weather is coming our way.
Today I started getting repeated weather alert notifications. Basically I close one and another pops up to take its place. Pixel 6, latest Android 12, latest WVLT app. Happy to provide screenshots. Thank you!
The forecast is accurate but it takes forever to load compared to similar apps and it always reloads/refreshes every time you leave it and come back which starts the whole waiting to load all over.
worst app ever! never works and especially when there is bad weather, it just stops and there could be a tornado or just a bad storm coming and the radar stops working!
Always accurate. Gives me real-time information and notifications of incoming rain with minute precision! Only Local East Tennessee weather app I'll ever use!
I would give it 5 stars but one thing bothers me.. when I open the app it puts the temperature on my phone screen but when I close the app that same temp stays there & doesn't change till I open the app again
It took over my weather bug but rained the weather at the time of the last update. I cannot get it to change to current weather conditions.
Easy to navigate. Able to check weather for friends and family , by zip code, across the country!
Forecast seems accurate. Way too many ads. 3 ad spaces on the first page is a bit gluttonous.
The app is user friendly, no app crashes and has exactly everything I need without taking up too much space on my phone.

The ads are overbearing. They completely take over . Ads are so loud you can not get the weather.
This is a weather app! It informs me of everything I need to know quickly, before things happen. It helps me to be prepared of what's to come!
I live in Cosby and its nice to hear that they include the weather and traffic issues in my area, and not just Knoxville and Blount counties.

Never accurate. I use it just to see the current radar picture for rain.

Really a shame... this app has a nice layout, good radar, but has no idea where I am. When I click on the "follow me" feature I just get a spinning wheel with the message "getting your current location... please wait". Well, I'm still waiting and it hasn't found me yet. I have all the location permissions on and was told by support that it might be a problem with the gps on my phone. Not so... all the other apps have no trouble pinpointing my location. WATE app radar map works as it should .
