This is a good local news app. I deleted a similar app from a competitor because of their recent inclusion of annoying video ads every time I opened an article. I hope this company doesn't do that also.
Would love to see a watch companion app for wearables. Otherwise, this app keeps users current on news from the Cape Fear and beyond. Good navigation and comfortable format.
For over a year I have emailed, mailed and called WWAY to run our story, basically wrote the article for them. They ignored our emails, Facebook messages, tweets and mail sent to their station, yet they ran stories similar to ours if not the exact same thing. It was completely unprofessional not to be acknowledged when this was a very serious issue regarding a Veteran and his family still living with Hurricane Florence damages while their HOA is illegally withholding insurance funds.
Good for local news but always a few days behind and news updates on weekends are none.
Very informative because I used to live in Pender County. I still have a lot of family in the area.
Need updates on hurricane Florence since I don't have power this has been very helpful on my phone !!

I have access to a lot of national news because I am very seldom home and have to access news on line. Local news hasn't been that easy until I downloaded WWAY app. I am using it more and more and feel more connected locally. Thanks for making your app easy to use and provide great local news.
