WWBT NBC12 News

This latest version of this app is not working on my phone. I can open an article and then the screen goes blank. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and restarted the phone to no avail. Doesn't really matter anyhow, because the app is not very appealing or user friendly. The layout is bad. App was much better a year ago. Ditching for Channel 6.

App is riddled with ads that make it difficult to read news stories. Many stories repeat making you scroll through old news to find current news. More tabloid type news than relevant news stories. Update 4/6/21 when you click on a headline to see the story, the app shows you a glimpse, then flashes to a blank screen. If you hit the back button it takes you to the home screen.

New layout and update is horrible. I hate that I can't even get into the app until I hit the x on the ad. Once in the app half the time when I click on an article and start reading, the article goes white and everything disappears. Not happy with the changes. Go back to how it was!

The app still isn't working correctly. When reading a news article the page goes white-blank. I exit the app and go back and start over. Same thing. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app didn't fix the issue. I have cleared the cache everything still isn't corrected. Today the app opens but the news articles won't open, I cleared the cache, forced stop, had to uninstall the app and install the app again, new app has become frustrating

The update contains less content and more ads. It feels clunky and seems to slow down my phone at times (Galaxy S8+ 64G). I use this app multiple times per day and have been for years, but am considering uninstalling it. Very disappointed, they could have (and have in the past) done better.

Layout of articles is chaotic...liked the old app better. Can`t swipe through articles, need to go back to main page every time. My main complaint is that the text size is fixed to micro , even though there is a setting to adjust.

The app is great until it comes to watching live news then you have to watch in a little tiny window that tje ads and disclaimer take up most of the viewing space...if there were a full screen option where you could actually see the whole picture would be a great addition however for the year that i have had this app no such luck...should that ever get fixed id rate the app a 5 star but until then its ok

I received alerts but the app closes once I try to access it. If I'm lucky to see a article it blanks out in the middle of reading. I've had this app for a long time. Please fix. It keeps me in the loop for all my family across Virginia

I don't usually leave "bad" reviews but because I use this app daily I can't let this one go. The last update is horrible! I see more ads than news and everything seems so jumbled together it's hard to tell what's what. Why change what was already fine?? I'm giving this a (small) grace period but if it doesn't get better.... deleting this app and installing another news app. Sorry not sorry.

Layout awful. Older one better. Isn't working most of the time. Page turns blank white while reading a story. Nothing was wrong with the old version.

Here's a review before I delete the useless app from taking up space on my phone. Not one positive review in 2021 yet and developer can't fix it!!!!! Why do we write reviews here if you're not reading how incredibly frustrating your app is and sending out a fix. I used this app daily before this mess occurred. Bye, bye channel 12.

New version is really bad. Less content,less weather and way too many ads. Borderline unusable. Bring back the old app!!!

Please update or somethng. I love channel 12, ive been watchn ch.12 4 almpst 40yrs. But its taking 2 long 4 your app 2 open. Thats y i gave it a 4 instead of a 5. Please fix that problem & i"ll give it a 5. Almost every1 that we no 💙's ch.12. So again please fix. Thank U!

App has gotten so much worse since I previously wrote a review, that I can't ever get past the spinning blue circle anymore. I've switched to getting news from channel 6 🙄.

This update has been a lesson in frustration. Followed all instructions and still did not open. Uninstalled it twice and finally worked.

App keeps freezing and closing itself out. Can't view anything for more than 10 seconds.

New app version force closes on Samsung phone. Can't read articles before app closes. I've installed/uninstalled. Please go back to the old version of app.

Can not longer see the live feed in full screen on my device. I prefer the previous version.

The app sends me a message but then I can't get the app to open half the time. Very frustrating!

New update is horrible. Less news more adds. Video forcast for weather and live radar are gone. New layout is hard to read too. Uninstalling today.

Hate the autoplay feature and there doesn't appear to be a way to turn it off. Because of that I'm deleting the NBC12 app.

I liked the old version. This one has to many ads and I can't see the hot topics anymore. I removed the app.

This app has only worked about 4 times since I did the upgrade it just sits there trying to open it worked fine before the upgrade uninstalling

This app is not good at all, I no longer get notices on news stories. Go back to the way it was before you changed.

Doesn't work very well for me. Frustrated that often I get the message that the app has stopped working

I'm having the same issue...go to an article...blank white screen pops up in 3 seconds..have reinstalled and dumped cookies Bye bye NBC12!

Was great. Now get notifications, but can not open anything. Uninstalled, still not working

Use to be a good reliable app, now you open a story/article the page blanks out. 1 month no change. Ridiculous

When you are reading the news the screen go all white and you have to go back to home screen to start over
