There is problem on a pixel 2 device. App home screen is blank, rendering the app unusable.

I've been enjoying this app for a few years now and every time I get a new phone its one of the first apps I download. Its simple to use and it does what it says it does. I have found some great reads because of this app and feel lucky whenever it updates with new material to read.
Proof that WW2 is so monumental ,that it will continue to be a part of our lives for all time

If you are a WWII vet or history buff, you will appreciate this app. It's all WWII all the time, and the developer keeps it well updated...I am enjoying this app!

It is what it is.
A very simple app which does exactly what it says: provides links to World War II news stories. Nothing more, nothing less. It could perhaps look better, but it doesn't really need to. Reading the other reviews here, I can't quite understand what the problem is with the reviewer who paid for this: the app seems to be free. And yes, it only works as a constantly updated link list. But what else can one expect after reading the app description? Dancing bears and zombie unicorns?
What the hell? I paid for this? It sends you to a link so you can only access it with the internet darn it i can find my own bloody links!
Performance is as expected.
It won't show on my Moto X4.
