WWL-TV New Orleans News

Trouble with getting videos to play they are frozen a lot. Not my equip or service both ckd. This has been for almost 2 yrs. Content of stories posted are repetitive, misspelled words a lot, very little info included. Sometimes, it is hard to hear voices talking very low.

This was the only News/Weather app I had on my phone. The idea of this new interface wasn't executed very well. Cramming too much information on one page seems to slow the loading process. Nothing on this new app is functional. The weather radar is useless if it takes 5 minutes to load. I can't even read news articles due to the extremely slow loading process. Definetly not worth the trouble. I used to love this app. It was always so easy to navigate. Uninstalling

I detest the new app. As I scroll down the screen it jumps all around. Ultimately it goes back to the top again. It plays all the commercials very, but rarely can play a video completely through without pauses. It also take longer to find different subjects or regional articles am searching for. I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS APP.

Terrible interface. Does not allow access to all articles on app. If you try to scroll over to the next featured article about the Saints, for example, it will instead take you to the weather section. Also, you have to watch an ad just to hear the audio from a video clip before. Totally audacious and annoying.

Always loved watching WWL TV News , they were my favorite to watch from way back . I liked the ' Ol' Beachcomber ' . It's April 13th , 2022 and I'm still loving WWL TV and Radio. Keep up the good work.

This app is crucial! I depend on it for the news and especially the weather. The Weather Experts will give you the best updates to try to keep you safe through all kinds of weather. The whole WWL Team is the best there is! They are all awesome! In my opinion they are the most informative team ever!

This app really took a huge step backwards releasing this "new &improved app". I used to use it day for the weather and need to know information for the Greater New Orleans area. I'm on the verge of deleting the app all together, but for now Ive added and different app from another local news station for my weather. My opinion, this version less informative as a result of attempting to simplify the app for the incompetent.

Always a reliable weather and news app to keep everyone safe and up to par with our daily lives.

Love the weather reports. Also I can easily check the weather on my phone daily with the app. 💘💘💘💘💘💘💘😊😊😊😊

App recognizes my device and states not eligible for download. Made old app useless. Made new app unattainable. Great job! I depended on this app for hurricane info. My device is less than 2 years old. Made sure cache was cleared. Even deleted apps and photos to make room. Hope you can fix this.

New app is terrible. Banner ads that don't go away. Poor organization of news stories. Giant home, weather, watch buttons at the bottom. Takes away 2 of 5 inches on my screen. Truly a bad redesign of an already decent app. Wish i could revert changes

Terrible, disorganized, hard to find what stories you want and alerts are either all or nothing, regardless of what settings you select in the app or on your device. Useless and frustrating. Deleting after many years.

Terrible app. They don't seem to update properly. Forget about breaking stories and the weather forecast is days old so if something changes you get the wrong forecast. During quarantine the updates were sometimes days late. Whomever is in charge of taking care of this app should be replaced. This was my news channel but now I'm changing.

Only problem I have with the app is when you send out a notification about a story, you do NOT provide enough text information. Instead, you put a big picture that does not tell me anything. Please provide more text about the story.

The new format is horrible. Too hard to navigate. Only managed to complicate everything just like common core. Why does everyone want to change things just for the sake of change. The old format was great. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OLD FORMAT. Thank You.

I liked the other app better. There are more commercials with this one and I'm missing a lot of news. I cant find what I'm looking for. Not happy with it at all but, I love WWL and its my go to station for newscasts!

This is the worse news app I've used. I get a notification of breaking news, click on the link and I'm brought to an older news story that has nothing to do with the "breakung news" I was alerted to earlier. For example, I was alerted to the April 12th covid-19 damn it clicked on the link, and got a complete analysis of the April 11th data. April 12th. I was nowhere to be found. This is just an example of how bad this app is

Can't start my day without watching them with my first cup of coffee they set such a wonderful tone for the rest of the day I really love watching them every morning of the week sincerely Rebecca Thiery, 😁

Liked the old app better downloaded it on my phone however I read the news on my kindle unable to get it to work on it. Had to switch to another local news channel really miss not be able to read the news from my favorite local station

I am uninstalling. Despite turning off all notifications, I am still notified for every post on the app. This is very annoying considering I only downloaded to get weather alerts. I do not need news updates all day.

I am very impressed with the news coverage of local & surrounding areas. Most of all it is the weather coverage that i like more than anything. Always topnotch forecasts and a great team of meteorologists. The saints info, analysis and reporting is 2nd to none in my opinion. Keep up the excellent work wwl - tv.

Get the latest news always. Always my favorite to go to for news and weather

Great radar. I mostly use this app for the weather. Just wish they would post the 7 day forecast up, instead of having to watch the whole video evertime to see it.

Oftentimes, I've received news alerts prior to my friends who have other station apps on their phones. I'm able to move between multiple news stories with great ease.

Whats the point of topic notification toggles if it continues to push notifications of the very topics that I've toggled off in the app setting? If I turn them off, I have no interest in that topic. Too bad!! I have to see it anyway.

I watched your coverage since last Sunday at 8:30am. From very far away..... You have the best staff, the finest reporting, the greatest personalities, and excellent, heartfelt coverage. It's impressive to see a great professional team at work under such dire circumstances. Your team keept their cool and reported the news. Very different from the national Newsies, pitching leading questions, with voices up by about two octaves. Wow, yer doin' great.

This is the worst revised app I've ever seen. Who ever designed this app needs to go back to school. I am leaving WWL-TV online because of this new app. After all these years with you all I can not believe you would serve this garbage up to the public. I normally don't write reviews but this time one of my favorite apps has been destroyed and everyone should be as MAD AS I AM!!!!!

I am thankful to channel 4 for keeping me updated on news and sports all day long. Thank you

New app is too slow, and not as user friendly. App doesn't respond to commands when app buttons are toggled in a timely manner. App freezes up. Bring back the old app.!
