When you connect to the Wyatt the Whale wifi address, it says connected without internet. You open up the app, and it pops up on the screen saying connection was unsuccessful, even though my phone is right beside it. Seems like a lot of people have purchased this, and it doesn't work. The Canadian app also just opens up to a black screen and crashes. Garbage product.
In theory it's an adorable idea. But it won't connect to the app so we can't make any adjustments which renders it basically useless. Now it's just an expensive decoration.
I am connected to the another's WiFi but like the other reviews the app just says "connection failed try moving closer" when my phone is literally touching it and connected. Please fix this as this was a big reason I got this to begin with.
You can change what's programmed already on the whale but you cannot change the songs/stories/ noises that are playing on the machine ie using your phone as a remote control
Doesn't work. Went through every troubleshooting step. Connects, but then as soon as I go to My Library it disconnects.
So the app warns you that it might not support recent android version(and of course it won't work). If you are unable to fix the issue, maybe you should consider discontinuing the product.
it worked the first time now everytime i connect to try and change the songs it says not connected even tho i am and i cant change anything.
Whale creates it's own wifi network, forces you to disconnect from your home wifi, and even then app does not correctly work with whale
Won't connect to my phone so I cant put on all the recorded voice and sounds for my baby.
The app doesn't recognise the connection is made to the SSID and therefore doesn't work.
Please fix your app for more recent version of android!
Be nice if it worked. Can't even connect to the soother.
Couldn't get this to pair and work with my daughter's whale soother.
The idea is great. The execution is a complete failure. You can connect to the wifi of the whale; however, even after it says you are now connected to your soother, the second you tap My Library, you will get an error saying you aren't connected. It's one giant do loop. Disappointed for sure.
