It's good most of the time. I've found it ideal, when possible, to review on a computer connection at the same time as there can be a difference in pricing. Booking on the PC was a lesser price. May have been a fluke but I check both ways if I can.
Everytime I book direct with the Wyndham app it's always a better deal at the end. Much quicker than the discount sites which just bounce you around to a bunch of their friends. All the fees are included. So, no surprises upon your arrival.
Interface/UI is great but it's very buggy. My hotel stay will be on there one day and gone the next. I try to submit a Missing Points form but I get an error message when I submit it. It says the departure date must be after arrival date even though I'm putting May 2nd for arrival and May 9th for departure.
One star overall forWindham. Got a new phone and had forgotten my password. The site says it will send an email for a reset, yet no emails have ever arrived over multiple tries. Tried using the website, same results...NO EMAIL. Called in for help and, guess what...they want to.just send an email THAT NEVER SHOWS UP. Increasingly frustrating and getting interrupted and blown off over the phone only exacerbates the issue. I will make sure to avoid staying at any Wyndham hotels in the future...
I have more problems with this app than I like. Much of the time I can't make reservations, getting a server error message while asking me to try again later. Often this continues for days. Once I finally get the reservation made I am rately able to get the reservation details to load. I've had issues with my room not being available and given a lesser room (with no refund of the difference) even though the reservation was made weeks in advance. It's the most irritating apps I've ever used.
We have rented hotels through here. So far we love the app. We also got approved for a Barclay's credit card. You can choose your dates and what your looking for. Examples.. pool. Breakfast, pet friendly, free wifi, how many beds. You get discounts for the rooms. They also have reward points you earn and deals for being a member.
Keeps signing me out without notice. Different stay: could not add a night in person or over the phone. Had to use the app to stay another night. Really infuriating, and staff was uninformed.
So far so good! Second booking with your site. It would be 5 stars except for the fact that my first stay in Mooresville NC with Wyndham rewards at the Baymont inn.....I had a horrible experience and sent a ticket to Wyndham rewards. It's been 3 weeks and nobody from Wyndham rewards has contacted me. I'm hopeful that you will resolve my issue, but I'm not holding my breath. I do stay in hotels once a month for a week at a time, I'm the type of customer you want to keep. Contact me.
When choosing a date this can be incredibly frustrating. Instead of a drop down to pick date it has a weird system that I often have to close app and start over to use. More I use it more I hate it
Glitchy and hit and miss. Just like the hotels. Hard to make changes, hard to contact tech support. Sometimes it looses my reservations. Mobile check in Doesn't work half the time. Not practical for back to back reservations during multi day travel.
I've stay at hotels from November 2001, I still have points missing. I'm finding cheaper deals at other booking sites. Since your updated I cant sign in, changed password, STILL can't sign in. I think it's time to dump Wyndham. Also the hotels in Savannah, Ga that carry the Wyndham name are dirty, employees are rude, they charge whatever they feel fit!
At first I thought the app was ready and simple to use since I was able to find and reserve a hotel at "members rate" supposedly with a discount. However, after our HORRIFIC experience at the La Quinta By Wyndham in Macon, Georgia I wanted to rate them and the link wouldn't work. There was an error everytime I tried to do it, so either the link needs to be updated or the app does. NEVER STAY AT La quinta by Wyndham in Macon, Georgia. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED! My points earned never showed up.
I'm not very tech literate and I was able to make a res with no issues. Actually this was after seeing that supposedly they had no availability but I decided to try anyway and I received a confirmation text so my fingers are crossed.
I have an online account set up, but the app fails to recognize my log-in info. Changed password multiple times, but again the app refuses to recognize it. This is quite useless if you can't log in.
I like how you offer the half cash half points offer now and I like the self checkout to make it easier. And I like all the offers that I can check out at each week before I book. I would recommend Wyndham rewards to other people because you get a lot of points for each night stay compared to other hotels that I am a member with such as Hilton and Best Western.
Broke the app with latest update won't let me out in information. Had to go online to complete booking because I couldn't enter cc information. The keyboard does not pop up when trying to fill. Probably related to the auto fill update. I would look at that code if I was a dev here .
It's a very nice looking and easy and smooth app to use. But it says members get lower prices but I've seen other lower ones on other sites like priceline and etc. But only a few dollars cheaper.
I have had my registration set up for over 2 years now. I am a platinum member and book hotel stays weekly. But for some reason I can't get anyone on the phone to set up a online account. I try to set up the online account in web, app or even the site-map all I get is a phone number a number no one ever answers. On-line chat would be helpful not available. I guess if you look closely at the Wyndham hotels rating more then 80% are 3 stars or less guess there web site is the same.
It's been over 4 months since I booked a room and canceled to book another room at hotel down the street from the rude owner at Super 8. Charged for both rooms and been told nothing further. I will be anti Wyndham till I at least get a response. They got me feeling like I'm a criminal or something. Diamond member and it means nothing. 70 or 80 bucks and they lost a loyal customer
Could not log in. When asked my security question I was told it was incorrect but it wasnt. Then I had to go through the entire process of setting up a new password etc.
I made a reservation via the app a few weeks ahead of time. I got a conformation number and emails describing my reservation. When I got to the hotel they told me the room I booked was already taken. They made things right, and I give the hotel full marks for doing so. I will give the app a second shot next time I book, and I may revise my score at that time. I'll definitely call the motel to double check, though.
No matter what internet connection I have the app is so slow. Mobile check in and check out sem to work about 10 percent of the time.
I had this app 5 years ago and it was barely functional so I deleted it because at that time, it was easiest just to call Wyndham and take care of matters. But I reinstalled it recently and it works superb now. I don't yell at my phone anymore or the app. I can book a room in a matter of minutes. My only issue would be adding more pics of the room instead of just one. But that is what a Karen or Chad would complain about so I digress. Great app!
It's alright. The search function is kinda complicated (why no map?) and they mislead you about how much your points are worth (spoiler: it's usually double what they advertise). Also this should go without saying but CHECK GOOGLE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING. There are some reeeeally bad motels under this brand. But it is nice to get the discounts.
I love how Wyndham lets me use my points like that is so awesome because one I don't have to you know pay anything extra unless I have my points and my kids love it because the the customers service is awesome and there's no bad badness about it at all I wish like they had some rooms to where you can early check in but other than that everything is a plus Sorry speaking to text
This morning I gave the app a 1 star rating. Looking to book a hotel and app said there was NO availability anywhere, anytime. This afternoon, the app was working well and I was able to book my reservation. Just a temporary glitch, I guess. Update: great product with earner credit card. Racking up the points and free nights. Better rates than I could have found anywhere else.
