The old app was much better than this new one. Can't disable notifications, hourly alerts. the new lay out is awful no preview of story's. Weather is almost unresponsive and freezes the the app. The only options in settings is to disable, force stop or uninstall. I chose uninstall.
This is a TERRIBLE redesign. Is it visually appealing? Yes. Is it well thought out? No. There are NO categories other than a "one for all" home news section, Weather shortcut and that's it. If you want to read the news you have to scroll through it to find categories. If I wanted to read sports, I have to scroll to find it. Local news, scroll. They have a weather app AND a whole category for it in this app. I only downloaded to get school closing info and can't even find that. Pretty sad.
So easy to navigate. Minimal ads. Out of all 4 news apps I downloaded to keep up to date on the COVID-19 situation as it unfolds this one is the best, most truthful, fastest and most informative app of them all!!! Very impressed!!!
very unhappy with this new upgrade. finish an article, and you are returned to the first article in the news feed. i was getting blisters on my scroll finger, trying to find where i was in the story list.
I don't like how it is set up and when you get done with a story it goes right back to the top of the news page and you have to scroll back down to where you were at plus it keeps freezing up on me at the beginning...like the older version better
awesome loading screen but it doesn't go past it and the app itself is a little sluggish. Also far too many ads, feel like you guys should be earning enough with service licenses from big cable.

junk. have to drone thru each article entirely weather or not you are interested to get to the next. just as bad now as news three and wood 8. bring back the swipe to right or left to peruse articles.

Layout is way too cluttered. Seems like stories and add are just thrown in any order. Plus also repetitive. Get a better interface and I will be back
Excessive ads make app very irritating to use. As I scroll down the top stories, more ads constantly load bumping you around the page. Almost unusable.
hate the new format. freezes my phone. had notifications turned off in the old format but this one turned them on again. uninstalling this junk app.
Some of the stories dont open and there's a ton of ads, which makes it very distracting.
Hard to navigate compared to other local news apps. Storys come in later as well compared to the main local news app I use.

Was kicked out twice when i came to this app but it does work for the most part ..and well formatted would get the 5 th star but ill see how it works this week
Love the app and the quick access to news but some of the ads are questionable at best and as usual there are way too many of them

I watch 13 on your side all the time. 13 on your side is the best channel to watch for the news, weatherand sports.
Can we agree that sports games do not equal breaking news?? Also, way too many ads and way too intrusive.
Let's end the division in this country! By eliminating the aisles that congress cannot reach across. No aisle seat both House's next to one another. A democrat and a republican one by one next to each other. No aisle to have to reach across. More than symbolism. Call it integration of Congress. It would be a start at unification of our country.

Very good with newer devices but no longer works on older (android 6 and below) phones or tablets.
I can typically locate what I'm looking for easily and enjoy staying up to date on local news.
Very buggy and clunky. I am not sure why I continue to have occupy space on my phone.
When i get into an article i have about 10 seconds to read it before it kicks me out. Very frustrating the app has gotten better, it is Informative and does not kick me out like it used too
