x=1: Learn to solve equations!

- you can now try to find the hard to catch X without any paperwork at all! All you have to do is to connect two parts of the equation step by step
- of course only if the mathematical principles allow it. Additionally, you are free to use the equal sign as you like, so you can move things from one side of the equation to the other.
In x=1 you'll be able to solve equations build with the basic arithmetic operations + -, *, /. To spice things up, the rules of bracketing are also included. 40 exercises gradually teach you the mathematical principles
- after that you'll be released into the huge world of equations to puzzle over an infinite number of randomly generated ones!

Great concept, great job with the idea! But without an explanation of why something happens, particular with merging fractions, this game becomes too easy to follow a patter to solve an equations without understanding why. There a bit of work to make this a great learning tool to help with equations. This has a lot of potential and look forward to see where this goes :D The only major criticism I currently have is the wait time when holding down to expand the selector.
I have lost an uncomfortable amount of time just solving the problems in this app. Though it does the actual calculations the motions of solving the problems really helps to get your mind in the right space right before an exam or doing homework. Easy to use, and strangely addicting.
This is a fantastic app. Really enjoy working the problems and it's a great way to fill those unused minutes through the day. If I could ask for one improvement it would be to include a setting to limit the difficulty of the problems. I have a kid getting ready to learn algebra and I think this would be a perfect practice tool.
What have you done. I know what you've done. You've made a great engaging game that helps people brush up on manipulation of algebraic equations. This is really awesome. Is there a way to change the time it takes to auto select a full block of values?
Great game, easy controls. Wish there were a way to simply swap which side were negative and positive instead of having to move zeros around. I'm also stuck on an equation that forces me to multiply x by zero.
Really enjoy the game, I just wish it was easier to eliminate zero in a situation like 0 + 1/2 = x. I feel you shouldn't have to wait to group items when they're up against a zero. Great game though, oddly addictive
Very easy to use interface. Although I did find a bug where you can keep on adding zeros to the equation and it keeps going infinitely. Apes together strong.. 9gag.
This was the perfect game to remind me of some high school mathematics. The only difference is that after a while, the solutions and the steps taken actually made sense!
Fiddly at first, but addictive once you get the hang of the controls. Needs optional higher levels of difficulty.
Fun and educational. I had forgotten how much fun equations were. I hope to see more advanced vertions of this game by its creator!
This app has been great at reminding me of the basic fundamentals of equation solving. I forgot how much I forgot.
No ads worth 2 stars by itself. But more importantly since I started using this game, I have had 0 math final exam nightmares. And being out of HS for 13 years now it's about dang time!!
Good practice, well executed, but doesn't seem to check for impossible situations. X=0, as a sole denominator. Math doesn't like that, and I keep ending up with 0=5
Love it! The ability to swap the fingers is a plus. Working at your own pace is also great.
I think the control mechanics are way better now but my finger are covering of what I'm pointing/arrowing on the screen I can't see much of it please consider a workaround with this

You should make 5x instead of 5 . x. since 5 . x will make the equation here circling around unimportant steps that could be avoided

It took a little while to understand the controls, but once I did it was much easier. You don't have to solve the math yourself in this game. As long as you understand the order of operations, you can solve for x! Fun to spend some idle time and refresh math skills I forgot I had. Could definitely be useful if you're first learning the material too!
