I wish I could like this l service... I think the internxt project has great potential, and I'm looking forward to all the improvements. However, in it's current state the app and service are borderline unusable for anything outside of long term storage that you set and forget. Hopefully things are updated more and it can actually become a Gdrive replacement.
Fantastic concept, I'm completely onboard. I want nothing more than to go all in with your solutions. A few things are stopping me 1) I need photos to auto sync from my phone and I need to be able to select which folders sync, not just gallery 2) I need more granularity with regards to who is receiving the file/not just link expiration 3) an API for Google photo and drive bulk migration, I have over 200gb of just photos alone that I want to migrate over to your platform. Other than that, 👍
I uploaded a photo a year ago and now I can't open or download it. It's 70kb, how can a cloud service struggle with such a small file? Edit: Unfortunately I can't provide additional information because I deleted the file. It was inaccessible, I couldn't open or download it, there was no reason to keep it.
Worst net drive I have experienced. Backup fails if it encountered files with 0 bytes. I don't think that is the issue. File upload/download is very slow, compared with OneDrive. Development should look to OneDrive, and implement the same functionality, especially regarding status on local drive, progress etc.
Cannot view files stored online. Sync does not seem to work well. In fact even on the desktop app. In comparison to OneDrive Google Drive, this pales. Privacy might be the selling point but if basic functionality across systems lacks...
Mobile app is very pathetic. It uses my mobile data to upload my files and there is no option to synch only on wifi. Moreover they have no option to contact them every time i open support only faq page is opened. As far i could understand photos is not supported in destop version only works with mobile
The desktop sync client is good but the mobile app still needs lots of work even with the most recent update that includes Photos. It appears that Photos can't sync in the background and you need to have the app open with the screen on. Hopefully a bug and not a feature, otherwise this would be a seriously overlooked aspect of development on implementing the photos sync feature. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.
I've edited this...on pc this works reasonably ok but Android is buggy as hell and causes me too much bother to sort out file's, what's uploaded and what's failed ect . Epic pricing but I'll come back next year to see if it's got better .
Horrible experience. Customer service totally a Sham. Cannot retreive Any Files. For weeks, support emails me (twice- they are slow as hell) with 'they're working on the issue', 'don't know what it could be', 'will fix in next update', etc. Don't waste your time or money on Internxt. Find another company. This one will not survive and shouldn't. I will end up losing all my files because it is only synching the same stuff. I am so disgusted that I would rate them Zero Stars if possible.
Now app is working, Good concept 👌, try to improve download and upload speeds. Also need option to move files to different folders___edit-15 April 2022 I cannot open any files in mobile app, only sharing option is available!!! No option to open with gallery!!
CANNOT even upload media. Not even files. Unusable. Even premium. Fix or people won't use because it's unusable. Edit : 26.12.2021 gets better. But still a lot of problems and still unusable. Cannot upload files shows errors about a bridge user. Cannot upload even one file. After selecting upload images it straight up freezes and does nothing. Tried more than one device. Please fix it. Paid a lot of money so that it would be possible to keep my photos somewhat safe.
1GB file size limit defeats the purpose of this... If I'm going to spend hundreds on a (lifetime) large capacity cloud storage service then I expect it to be able to: - to be able to upload whatever size files I like. My backups are routinely broken up into 2GB files, and I have many multi-GB files as well - auto sync (not sure if this exists or not seeing as I can't upload my files) - Have advanced sharing
Hi there, with recent update I can see the App Interface has been improved a bit. But I am finding one bug here. When I am tapping on Tiles View of File in the 'Drive' section app getting closed automatically. Kindly fix it & also, enable image preview in the drive pls. It's so necessary for any of the Cloud Storage service
Alot of upgrades and performance tweaks has been made. It's now a reliable privacy first storage solution. It's getting better.
New to Internxt and want to continue using it. However, on the phone app trying to create links for files, so that people can view them, crashes. So can only create links for files using the website. Which makes this unusable for me in this condition.
Update Feb 20. "Internxt photos" works slow. It just uploads one picture at a time and, unfortunately, cannot work appropriately in the background. {Using Samsung Fold3 smartphone and Purchased a 2Tb premium subscription.} Not recommended this service. (At least for now) The app keeps crashing continuously.
Overall great experience. A feature to lock the app would be perfect. And PLEASE CHANGE THE ICON. 😭
Read a review about the service and decided to take a look. Sounds ok but there is more work to be done to compare itself with the other established similar services. Regarding security: you can not add a PIN / fingerprint to the app ... It is not a big deal but ... Also, no dark mode ... Access to Photos can not be done via web browser nor the desktop app ... I can add more but it would scare users away 😀 ... It is ok for a startup and in time things will get better hopefully Made in EU / ES
app crashes instantly back to OS whenever I attempt to open it. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling however issue remains. Please FIX!! (edit) -> app is useless, waited literally months for an update to fix crashing issue but after updating today IT STILL CRASHES every time when trying to open the app. DO NOT TRUST YOUR IMPORTANT FILES to this company. App was working initially but has now been unusable for months and months. Uninstalled!! BYE!
Great concept but needs work. I would start with settings to define what exactly I want to sync rather than just assuming everything, then fix upload speed. I will b back in 6 months to check again as this is the future.
Update 2022-01-08 : before it took a long time to load my files, and sometimes never did. now I get a message about a "segment analytics client ... assigned multiple times" - and it won't even start! truly worse with every new version
Terrible! Unable to upload files larger than 1gb. No step by step instructions. No thumbnails on files that are uploaded. Unable to download files to my phone from my cloud drive. Absolutely not worth a single dollar.
It works as discribed however backuping up folders is not handled well especially on a mobile device. No thumbnails in the app so you better have named all 300 holiday photos properly... The speeds remind me of Wuala .. also the Ui sort of reminds me of that system also.
App syncs slow and very buggy. Desktop app also do not sync properly and have problems. Requested for refund and haven't received any response. Looks like scam. Avoid this provider at any cost.
the app functionality is close to zero, cant share files from third party, cant share folders, cant password protect shared links, cant download folders, no shared link expiration date feature, when you share links it spams you with ads to buy their service. If you want to get money and be recommended by people tell your devs to work on improving functionality and speed of apps rather than working on mail and photos. prove your existing services. Also didnt get reply to a mail sent 4 days ago.
A cloud storage app that lacks basic functionalities like moving files, exporting files or showing up in Androids file saving dialogue is mostly useless. Use the site for now.
Website states 10GB free for life, and requires that you download the App. I did, but it's still 2GB??? Also, there's mentions of a lifetime signup promotion, but this plan is also not listed anywhere to purchase. Will try use the App and see how things are but comms needs improving
the app filled the storage of my phone while trying to upload a large amount of photos, which is why I had to uninstall it. does it make extra copies of all the uploaded photos? once this is solved and you can access your photos from browser and desktop app as well I will adjust my review because I really want this service to be great <3 would love to use this service once it is ready.
So, guys. This app has no option to send a file from a telephone to your cloud service. I can do it with Google Drive, One Drive and other services but your service doesn't appear in the list. So, how is one supposed to upload his stuff into your cloud? P.S. I have managed to upload some files but STILL the issue persists- if I click any file in my mobile, I have got several options to send those files into the cloud services I have but not yours. Please, get your app integrated better. Thanks!
