X Icon Changer - Customize App Icon & Shortcut

I used to love this app. It was everything I needed and I was able to customize everything. But now, as I see many others have experienced, every time my phone is left resting, all the icons disappear and the name of one of my apps (settings, messages, etc) replaces the original names. It's frustrating and upsetting, and my only option is to clear the invisible icons and restart, which takes hours. Unless this bug is fixed, I'm moving on to another, hopefully better, icon changer.

So far, the best working app for icons that i have used. But the results will be lifeless after the uninstallation of the app. This means if you want to keep the function going, you must never uninstall the app. Other than that, the app works fine plus you can actually do it without any data usage with just one ad(data usage for 30s, obviously:///) for activation. I am sure you won't regret the app, anyway.

I don't really mind ads but there is this one ad that keeps popping up when i upload an image that i want to use and it's just a blank black screen that you can't exit, if you leave the app and try to upload it keeps popping up instead of other ads which is really annoying, i can't switch icons because you need to finish an ad but this ad is uninteractable (i only got to change a few app icons because of it). Would change my review if it could be fixed thank you.

It's a great app, and it keeps up well with my obsession with changing homescreens every 2 weeks. It doesn't disappear like most of the apps in the market which is amazing, but i gave it a 4 star due to some technical difficulties that I encountered during the obsessive sessions I had. Whenever changing an icon, I have a 60/40 percent chance of getting an actual ad that you can skip or a black screen with no cancel buttons which causes me to restart the app every time i want a cute icon.

The app is easy to use for customisation of icons, which is great! The only reason it doesn't have a 5 star, for me, is that every so often all of the icons disappear and all of the apps change to having the same name. Not too bad because I can just remove them from my homescreen and redo them, but it is a little frustrating. Otherwise, a good app! (Note: This issue is when using the widget option to avoid the auto watermark, unsure if it happens otherwise.)

I downloaded this 5 minutes ago, and the ad walls are atrocious. I had to watch an ad that took 20 seconds to complete just to gain access to the apps function, and I can only change the icon if they have an obnoxious watermark on it? And then I have to dive into my phones software to change that? Horrible app. I can't even recognize an app under the ads. Don't get it. It tells you to add it as a widget in order to get rid of the watermark but it didn't work.

It worked fine at first but as soon as I restarted my phone I went to my homepage and the icons had changed to pure white and they were named "X icon changer", it took a lot of time to make so I'm upset about that. I tried to find a way to fix it but there was no use. There's an unnecessary amount of ads aswell, so I'd say it works if you're willing to redo them every single time... Simple to use but ultimately it's extremely annoying with the ads.

I got the app and everything was working perfectly. There is a lot of adds, but i dont care about that. I changed my app icons and everything was good, but less than 2 hours later all my icons are invisible and they all say "Forest" because that is the name of one of my apps. I tried turning my phone on and off, checking the app's settings. But the bug is still there . I unistalled it and installed it again and had to do the whole procces of changing every icon again but the same thing happened

This app was working for me just fine for about 2 days (would recommend using it), but the shortcuts suddenly disappeared from my home screen today. I can still open my apps by tapping on the shortcuts, but I can't see the icon when I tap it so I'm just guessing where they are at this point. Also, when I hold down the shortcut to view the name of the app, they all have the same name even though I did not name them all the same. Not sure if this is an app issue or a phone issue.

I wouldve rated this app a full 5 before, but this update bug is unbearable! I used this app for a year (or maybe two) with no issues, but I recently upgraded my phone and now its unusable. Whenever I turn my phone off, change a display setting, or even just have my phone in rest mode for a while, all my icons disappear totally. Its unfixable except for redoing everything! This app used to be perfect, and now its totally unusable!

Simple to use, though ads are a bit annoying. Sometimes when you turn off your phone or it dies the apps just dissapear and it only shows the names of the apps, but you just have to delete them and add them back. Still a bit annoying, it would be nicer if that was fixed. But out of all the other apps I've used I must say this is the nicest one yet.

The customisation is very cute, and I liked it very much. However there is one major problem. Every time I close my phone, it changes ALL of my customised apps to be exactly the same app. I have no idea whats causing this, but having to keep changing it back and going through all those adds is driving me insane.

look, honestly it's a good app I like it. BUT the reason to why it's a 2 star is because at some random points if my phone crashes, lags or I power it off/restart it, all the app icons turn invisible and change to one name (eg. all my apps were named google) and it's so frustrating redoing it everytime because it sometimes tends to happen often so there's really no point. If this does get fixed, it's a good app since you can choose your own picture for the app.. But please, fix that issue :)

I would have given a great review at first, there are a lot of ads but the app is easy to use and I love how everything looked. Several times now all my app icons disappear and all are stuck with the same name. Restarting phone doesn't work, uninstalling and reinstalling app doesn't work. Only solution, delete them all and recreate them. I've had to redo my apps daily for 4 days now, it's just not worth it. If the bug is ever fixed I'd come back but most reviews seem to have the same issue.

It works great, the only issue is when you update your home ui. Whenever i need to update it, the entire app glitches and you loose most of your custom apps icons. I tried restarting my phone and it caused some to reappear, but then it copied one of mine over about seven other icons and i had to redo them, and now they just randomly disappear and its unusable. Other then that its a great and easy app to use, and id love to give it fulive stars, but this one bug brings it down extremely

This app 100% works. I think what makes people complain about this app is that after a while. The app icons disappears. I can explain why. If you delete pictures. Including pictures for the app icons. The app icon picture will disappear as you have removed the picture from your gallery. So if you do plan on saving storage yet make your apps look aesthetic. Please do consider if this is worth your storage, time, and aesthetic.

Does its job. Seems like using pretty much power, so be sure you force close it after use and disable autorestart. A functionality of searching icons from icon packs by name or category would be useful, so you don't have to scroll endlessly through large packs, but I don't know if that is actually possible to implement. As an alternative, I've installed an app that extracts icons from icon packs onto local storage (that app has search) and I use this app to import them from gallery.

I really love the app, and it is a good way to costomise my phone and apps. It's simple to use and I like how there are many different options. Nevertheless, I only give 4 stars because after I restarted my phone, all the captions from my apps are deleted. It took me a while to find the playstore because all my apps have similar yellow pictures as icons :/ I would be glad if this was fixed!

It's really easy to use. Shows clearly every option. Although the ads are irritating. Almost every button I press leads to an ad. To add on to that, after a week or two after setting the icons, they'll just disappear. And then I have to set them up again, then again, and another time.

This app works really well at first, but any time my phone updates, gets turned off, or dies, all the app icons disappear. I have to do everything all over again, and it's really annoying. I'm not sure what this glitch is, but without it, I would probably give the app 5 stars. Seems like I'm not the only one experiencing this glitch, too.

Really the app is so nice with alot of features I could give it 5 stars but two things are annoying me alot; (1) Repetitive ads which even make the app to hung in some point. (2) I always got unnecessar photos in my gallery which are being downloaded while I didn't gave consent through this app. Otherwise fantastic and very fast. Perfect of all.

I love this app! It's very organized and simple! The reason I gave it 4 ☆ because of the ads. It's not that bad until when you click done and it gives you a ad everytime. But the bonus is that if you dont have any wifi you dont get any ads. So i guess that's good. But love the app!<3

my previous review was deleted for some reason, so let's try this again: this app is really easy to use and doesn't have a watermarks like most of these other apps. that's cool and all, but the positives are pretty much completely thrown out of the window because eventually all of the apps are going to go completely blank and will all be renamed to one app so you can't tell what's what. it's really annoying because if you want to use it you need to continuously change allll of the apps back

I paid for this to be ad free because I LOVED how this app worked at the beginning - would be 5 stars if not for one incredibly annoying glitch which seems to be super common. I spend so much time replacing all my icons and then something happens (anything from a phone update to a restart or its even happened to me once when I did nothing but pull up google maps) but all of the custom icons disappear and they all get renamed to the same app. The shortcut still works, though. Hope it gets fixed

It worked for at least two days until all my apps turned blank and had all of them named 'calculator'. It's super frustrating that I have to redo them all only for me to do it all over again within a few hours, not only that, there's just wayyy too many ads than necessary. I have no idea why people rate this 5 stars! don't waste your time.

Awful app, since the new update I don't know which apps are which, the names disappeared. I am dissatisfied with this app, I don't even know how people rate it 5 stars. The ads I could get by, but this is just frustrating, I would have to redo everything just to get the names back. Waste of time, confusing in general, too many ads that don't even have a mute option. Don't waste your time on this app.

It won't even work and there are soo many ads I tried it and it did absolutely nothing to my apps it looked all the same I might just not know how to use it but it's still not a good app. All the ads say "this will change your phone however you'd like"but infact you have to do each individually and it just doesn't work

This app is super awesome, handy, and easy to use. However, it doesn't have Google Calendar... I have Google Calendar installed and everything, but, for some reason, it doesn't show up on the icon changer so I can't change it or anything. It's pretty annoying and that's why I only have 4 stars, but yeah

Doesn't even work >:( ofc I want my icons without the watermark(duh) but trying to add the widget to take away the watermark sends me into an endless loop and will not allow me to add the widget. Very disappointed as I used this app before on a previous phone(both android) and it worked fine. Uninstalling and looking for something less frustrating
