X-Wing Flight

Hmm. I tried to update my review, but couldn't find it. Edit: OK, I found my original review. But, couldn't edit it (le sigh). I found out how to correct the opposite pitch problem (yay). Turns out you need to go to the Settings Menu, and toggle the X and/or Y Inverse button to Off. Then, all should be good. I'm glad I reinstalled this game. One of the best with great graphics, and low App size.

To be perfectly honest, not too shabby at all. It definitely needs some polish. The graphics, I can live with totally. My only issue lies more with the controls, AI behavior a little, and the ads. There's an ad every time you complete a mission or otherwise exit a level to the main menu, but they're usually skippable and a very small price to pay for the enjoyment I did get out of this. I've been playing this for about an hour or so, and what a quick hour it's been. It's a fun side activity.

I thought this was going to be an awful clickbait rip off, full of MTX and advertisments. Completely wrong, this is a really fun little arcade xwing game, scaled back for phones. I say "little", there's a lot of levels and both republic and rebellion era fighters and levels. Extremely fun to play in short bursts or over long periods of time. Oh! An the advertisements are instantly skipable for me, not sure if Its like that for everyone, but I like it!

Reminds me of the good old X-Wing game from early 1990s. Much better graphics, simplified controls and much less complex missions. But still fun. However, the new Republic mode seems to be buggy: in mission 10 ( on planet's surface) I get slowed down to almost zero velocity, but still manage to take down the required number of federation droids. Same experience in mission 11 but the landing crafts which I ought to destroy never appear...!? I got stuck...

First off the game is really good, but when you first play the controls are terrible. The first thing you should do after downloading is to go into settings and turn of inverted controls (inverted controls are fine in flight sims but don't work as good in space games), then turn the sensitivity down, then your gonna want to turn off joystick, because this game works best with tilt controls. I like that if there is a planet nearby you can (sometimes) go to it and see the surface.

There's no loot boxes, or anything to pay for; the game isn't constantly begging for money like most mobile apps, and although there are quite a few adds, I don't mind because they're placed after you complete a mission, so they don't feel like they're stopping the gameplay. Also, the missions are super fun, and they get gradually more challenging, making each mission more satisfying to complete than the last. I'm very happy with this game.

Very good game. I have been looking for a good mobile game for a long time and I think I've finally found it. For a mobile game this is incredibly impressive with realistic 3d models and textures. There are 5 second ads every time you go to the menu but due to them being so short they do not bother me. The only issue I have is there are clearly some translation issues that need to be resolved. Other than that brilliant game especially if you are a fan of the X-Wing and tie fighter series.

I love this game I've been looking for games like this ill definitely download something else too by blue wave. It would be so much better if there were more teams, like the empire or the separatists, (even though that's kind of what the trade federation is). It would definitely be awesome if there were more vehicles to drive but I love the game how it is ill be waiting for an update.

Hey there, just wanted to say I really love this app. It reminds me a lot of the old star wars flight sim games. The ship selection, the mission variety, you put a lot into them. For a free mobile game, its pretty good. My only complaint is the lack of proper cockpits for the starfighters. Its a bit jarring that the Millenium Falcon is the only ship with the proper cockpit while the x-wing, Y-wing, A-wing don't have any. And the B-wing cockpit looks kinda incomplete. Otherwise, everything else is solid.

Fixed the enemy balance, so its more difficult progressively instead of the same difficulty throughout. Only complaint since new update is it doesn't keep unlocked levels. I have played through twice since latest update and each time i log back in it makes me start at level one, and makes me play through again. Figure its a coding issue but would like to see a fix for it.

UPDATE: I'm still addicted to this game, and as a lifelong fan and critic of everything SW I know my stuff. It reminds me of the original Battlefront, albeit without the first person part. The sounds are nostalgic, the controls easy (I recommend using buttons and increasing the sensitivity) interesting and challenging levels with ships that vary in skill type. DISNEY/LUCASFILM sign these guys up! This is the best mobile game Star Wars has to offer, imagine what investment could achieve

The graphics could be improved, but otherwise this is a great game. The controls are simple and the levels get more challenging the further you get. A few ideas for those editors- maybe add a version or mode where you can be against the rebels as an Imperial ship, and also add planet battles, including walkers and cannons. Thanks!

It's actually really fun for a relatively small time game that was likely made by a single person. I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that level 47/49 was impossible in easy mode, I mean that it was physically impossible to get past that level because I died after only 30 second's and have been attempting it for the past week. Good game but the developer should have tested the levels a bit more thoroughly

Great game, I just wish that when you were in first person, with ships like the millennium falcon, there is an inside for the ship and it would be better if the same was optional for ships like the x-wing and a-wing, so it feels more like flying through space. Other than that, the game is pretty much perfect.

A good old-fashioned arcade style game in your hands. Little tricky at first getting the controls setup, but once you've got it figured out it is a blast to play. Now only if they would come out with the larger Star Wars ships in a simulator style, that would be great.

Very good! I really like the look of the game, all the models are faithful to the original Star Wars series and the game is just plain fun to play! Sometimes it freezes, but the freeze moments are fast and don't continue on for long periods of time. Overall it's a fun app that's addictive to play and just satisfying, And I'm going to give the game a 4/5. :) Thank you so much for making a really good game! :D

Awesome game! You can play offline too. Very nice graphics! The challenge is increased mission after mission. Super detailed and very well made 3D spacecrafts! You can explore different worlds and different places from the galaxy, destroying enemies over planet surfaces too! Large number of space craft fighters, giant spaceships and a lot of missions to complete. Thanks so much for this great game!!! Great developers!!! A coop version (wifi or Bluetooth) would be great too!! My son love it!

Overall it's a nice game for star Wars fans, and I am also one of them. I have played both game from you dark side and light side fleet battles. Looks like dream comes true, although on PC is STAR WARS BATTLE FRONT. This fleet simulator looks like a little bit same. But I have something for this, Plz excute 360' degree view, it went horrible experience while playing. Improve the graphics. And add a multiplayer mode, so the upgrade made on ships, should be useful. Right. Nothing more expecting.

This is a legitimately fun game, and responds well to touch controls. It's simple, straight-forward empire exploding fun. The only suggestion I would have is to add music to the levels, it would add a lot of atmosphere and make the game a thousand times better even though it's already really good.

Fun game, simple and easy to play. The only thing it lacks, and this doesn't detract from things, is a story. Each mission is sperate, with no connection between them. Adding a story, or a story mode would make it a 5 Star game to me.
