This app is average at best. Functionality wise, it does what the app is built to do. It would be better if they update the app witg new interface and make it compatible for new devices and apple product. Apple user cant download this app at the moment. Hopefully Music Tribe fix the issue and make it compatible.
Works great - once you set it up, it just does its job perfectly...people get mad because they don't necessarily follow the steps in the right order like: 1. Make sure you connect wirelessly to the network directly connected to the X32 console/mixer. 2. then take the app off the demo mode (top right wifi logo menu). 3. And add the right IP address of the console in the network (whoever set up the X32 mixer in the network should give you that IP address) then the wifi logo becomes green and tada.
app worked great until my Note 9 updated to Pie. now, only 1/2 the sliders work, and they don't work correctly. the touched slider will move the slider to its left. i checked all settings,(wifi, IP address, etc), force closed, cleared cache/data, reset the phone, and finally uninstalled and reinstalled the app. none of these troubleshooting steps solved the issue. i emailed support roughly a week ago with no reply. maybe a 1 star review will get a response...
I'm so glad to read the other reviews because I thought I was doing something wrong! After the latest Android update, I can no longer connect to the wifi to be able to mix my ears. It's basically a useless app but I'm holding out hope that they'll fix it!!
Annoyingly didn't connect to the mixer until I disabled mobile data and restarted the app itself (as did at least one other reviewer). Please fix this. Reserving judgement on usability until I get more time to explore it.
Was working for years on my Shield tablet but died after the update. I can't connect with my phone or tablet. ... But did try turning Off my Data on my phone and it connected , a bit buggy but it worked. I love the app and use it every week on my worship band, please fix it for us Android
Didn't work on any of my Samsung devices. Tablets or phone. Looks cool, but virtually worthless. Needs bugs worked out of it. Other apps work.
Needs a serious update. I got a warning upon installation that it's designed for an old version of Android and it might not work. They were right. Shopping for an iPad now.
I wish this app would auto detect the mixer ip like the iphone app so my band members stop making fun of me everytime I have to ask them for it. Otherwise the app has been fine.
please fix problem for Samsung. since phone updated sliders dont work. they move the channel to the left or dont move anything.
Not used friendly at all. I cannot rename th busses either. It duplicates every keystroke.
We use this at church. Fits our needs. Would like to see an update for Android 10 operating system.
This app is old and no longer developed. Use Mixing Station instead.
Nothing compared to the Apple version of the app but it can get the job done
Great app, gives the sound guy (me) a break.
Very nice having my own mix @ my own hand, needs updating
Upgraded my phone and the app won't work I'm left in the cold
needs a patch. no longer working.
Glitchy software to control grainy sounding hardware
Love the app. Easy to use.
I thought I could remotely control my mixer
Please update for android version 10 please
My biggest issue is the screen will NOT stay on. I went into settings and made sure I checked that I wants the screen to stay on, but it the screen actually goes to sleep faster than normal. It's beyond frustrating since I use it leading worship and need to adjust something but then have to turn my phone back on every time. And the sliders are just too small. When I try to move one up or down my finger totally covers it and I can't tell if it's actually moving - which usually it isn't. Please fix.
Took me forever to get it to finally connect and when it did it only gave me one later and had no options to add others. Was incredibly complicated and took way too much time for nothing. Ended up using an aftermarket app called mixing station that worked perfectly and instantly. With that being said the Behringer X32 is a fantastic mixer!
We recently upgraded our board at my Church where I engineer and wanted to use this app for IEMs. I've used the app before and thought it would be a seamless setup as it has been before, but this was not the case. It seems the app has broken with recent updates to Android. After an hour of troubleshooting and scratching my head, I discovered that I could only download and use the app once MAC randomization had been turned off in phone settings and I had restarted the app. Even then, automatic discovery of the mixing console did not work. This app works well enough for what we use it for, but would provide a much better experience if MUSIC Tribe would fix these two issues.
