Xbox beta

I know a lot of people are complaining about it but I really like the Xbox app. it was lacking one of the most important features for me which was the achievements. but since it's been added back along with friends leaderboard I can't complain too much. I use it on a daily basis to chat with my gaming friends and check on my achievements. I love that fresh new design (the old app really needed a fresh coat of paint or two) and it just works well on late 2020 high end smartphone. keep it up!

Something Microsoft does really well is device integration and the xbox app really is an excellent tool for platform enthusiasts who want to keep up to date with xbox live and their home xbox. One really great feature is being able to message friends and do xbox live parties from your phone! Awesome work Microsoft 👌🏾

I'm loving it but I do see one issue. Whenever I download videos off the app they come out low quality. Now I don't know if it's because my internet is slow or something with the bitrate being low but they come out quite bad in terms of quality

Microsoft rewards removed from the app. The microsoft rewards option is no longer appearing on my xbox APP. It was possible to earn points by playing PC games, playing with friends, opening APP, playing microsoft jewelry

Right after I downloaded it I had over 15 people show up on my friends list that I did NOT friend. The only thing different in my routine was downloading this app.

Works okay however the keyboard seems to not be working anymore. This is one of the main uses I have for the app. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 if that helps yall for troubleshooting. Will gladly change my review to 5 stars if this feature is ever fixed.

Xbox beta tester now when I hold down the guide button on your app there's only two options there used to be three: turn off console turn off controller and restart console. where has the turn off controller option on your app gone? you guys need to triple check the UI in your app. seriously.

Can't play remotely, and my account is signed in. This starting to be annoying xbox! Please solve this issue. Gamepass dosen't seem worth if I can't access my games remotely.

So how does a Xbox being hard wired to 5g and a phone on 5g mean wifi say it still need to connect or reconnect? Even when no one's else is on either wifis.

Can't use app in party chat anymore. It doesn't detect my audio. I use my phone occasionally when not on Xbox for patty chat. It isn't working on Android 12 for me. Please fix soon.

I have always Loved how useful this app actually is especially when ya an Xbox Junkie such as myself ever since finally getting myself the 1st Xbox One (😳 this is my 4th one going through the Xbox ones like a babies go through diapers 🤣 True & Kinda Funny Fact😂 HaHa) So long story short if ya got the Xbox then get the app and the whole world becomes a beautiful place👍😁👍

the beta app and the Xbox app are both slow and very buggy. I hope Microsoft can work these issues out to excel the future of online social mobile gaming!

every time i just want to text someone the app just stops for no reason and that's a big issue for me not only on the beta version also on the original app version i don't know why ? but here's something my phone is note 10 + and it's not old to feel like i need to change it so fix the app plz 🙏

the app was perfectly fine the way it was, no idea why you would even release an update. All that does is just cause issues obviously, u finally reached a stable point just to ruin it all over. AGAIN

Big stupid banner to get game pass app. Why can't you just have ONE app that does everything? The game pass app is junk in my opinion. Does not show prices of games, just a decieving "install to console". Bait and switch tactics for sure.

It's nice to have for when you are away from your Xbox or if you don't have an Xbox and play MCPE.

I can't find any uses for this app, the communication is terrible because half the time you can't send messages, the other half of the time the app won't even work at all and has trouble loading, I'd rather recommend Discord for communications instead of using this app, the only thing I use this app for is when I want to download clips, I hope one day this app gets fixed so it's actually stable.

One day this app works flawless the next day you can't connect and it will repeat itself over and over and over. This is extremely annoying. Microsoft is aware of this problem and just doesn't care. For those wondering, yes I am on a 5G Network so the internet's not the issue and if anybody thinks the internet is the issue then it's the issue with this app because my internet is flawless with everything else I do.

Great app that allowed me to view achievements, captures and message friends when I'm not n my xbox. After recent update app 'keeps stopping' don't know if there is a way to fix this but if there is that would be great. If you can fix it, thank you.

the party chat has a LOT of echo when you talk, more so when someone talks to you. to get around it, mute your mic. everything else works usually pretty well, although there may be sometimes where you don't get notifications, or alerts for people getting online, or messages, or invites etc. other than that it's okay.

New update took away the ability to access xbox clubs, view achievements, and change your profile. Why they'd remove popular features is beyond me. It does look prettier I suppose, and the UI is more touch friendly.

I liked being able to see what my friends are doing so if I wanted to join in then I could. On this one and the main Xbox app all it shows is home so I don't know if they are using Netflix, Hulu, etc or if they are in a game.

This app should be removed from google play. It deletes friends, blocks messages, fails to notify... very little if anything wotks as described as the add features none have requested. Instead of adding new features that dont work, why not actually devop whats there into something that works as described.

tbh this is one of the most underrated underappreciated apps I've ever seen. this app does what it says it does and then some. like no I havnt been paid to say this by the creators of this app. I'm sincerely just a customer like you (the person reading this) and I literally mean this app is awesome. whatever you need done on your Xbox this app can do it.

Nothing in this app ever works. Remote play, even basic party chat, just never works right.

Every single time I open this app I am logged out and have to log back in, this app is literally useless outside of texting people on their xbox, if I have to text my sister in the middle of the night to crank down her damn xbox but can't because I have to spend how ever long going through the forgot my password set up because it is the middle of the bloody night then I can't do the one thing this app can do, therefore the app is quite literally useless

I would prefer more sync options with devices that aren't "smart" TVs, etc. As well as more options for sorting game data with the app using older devices

very slow clunky i dont understand how the graphics look like they do and you can't have an app run properly

The app occasionally won't work properly and will have loading issues, but when it works it's top notch

Normally a great app, but I'm currently having the same issues as Jakup Bercik. I'm also on Samsung S9 and the app crashes everytime I open it. Maybe a MS server issue, as the latest update was 10th Feb and its worked fine until today.
