This app is great! It's a real pleasure to play with this app. It's still a preview and it's already very good with few lags and very small delay. BUT, when I crash while I'm in a menu, I won't be able to reconnect until the console automatically closes the game. Also, when I lose the the connection to the servers (I lose the connection even if I'm on wifi with Optic fiber) sometimes the app won't notice that it crashed so I lag for 30s before the app retry to reconnect and it's annoying...

Wow! Just incredible. But, it should show the newly added games. And, when looking through games, once you read its description and hit back, it scrolls all the way to the top of the games list. Frustrating when trying to decide on a game to play. Other than that, it plays amazing. Zero lag, controller pairing is perfect! Thank you Microsoft, I have always loved you

This is pretty good considering it's a preview. It could do a better read out of what connectivity issues youre having rather than just the "connection not good" symbol in the top right. Also console streaming struggles to connect over mobile data and it would be really helpful to know where in the chain the connection issue is. If we had more feedback from the app we could test better and give better feedback. But all in all, it's very promising.

This is the way forward, start a game on your tablet or phone, pick it up on the big screen at home. During lockdown and with the great weather, it's really cool to play some Witcher off my own console in the garden, then pick it up where I left in the house. I've tried using it on my pixel phone with xcloud games, no install just jump in the game. Only downside to cloud hosted games.... They still take the same time to load levels, no magical improvement in speed.

Such an amazing experience that xbox provided for us. Being able to game anywhere on what device we choose. Its awesome. But because this is indeed a beta, there are a few things that I noticed. Audio will sometimes cut here and there, but the game won't stutter, and when playing certain games, it will seem like the controller might get stuck for a second or two. Bug overall, for a preview, very neat, and quite playable. Especially now with over 50 titles!

For a beta, this is awesome! Occasional stutter with the graphics, but not so much so that it becomes detrimental to the game play. The lag between the control input and response on screen is becoming next to nothing. It has already improved within the last few days! Great first impressions and loads of potential! Keep up the good work Microsoft!

Works well for non action based games. I'm sure it's due to my internet connection, but I found it to be high in latency compared to playing regularly (which is to be expected). The stream can also become very pixelated at times. It just doesn't really work too well with games that are needy for speedy reaction times in my experience. Besides the slight latency, it's a awesome app that let's you stream your xbox straight to your phone. Great concept, it works quite well for just a preview.

It has been awesome for me. In the beginning it was laggy and controls got stuck from time to time. But it has worked great. I would like to add that Microsoft should find a way if using a Xbox the controller. The Xbox button makes the menu pop up instead of going back to the home screen. Don't know if it's possible due to Android setup. Just a thought.

Ok, so I've had this app for awhile and I love it! As long as your connection is strong, most games run smooth as butter. Even ARK, which I thought was almost impossible to run smoothly in the first place! The versatility of it is amazing, I personally have, but don't use the clip. It's pretty easy to just prop up your phone on something or just put it in your lap. My only real complaint is the game variety. I wish there were more FPS's or even... Modern Warfare *wink wink*. Great stuff MS!

It's extremely impressive how well this works. There's a small, but noticeable, delay when playing shooters or other fast paced games, but still very playable. With slower paced games, you probably won't even notice a difference between this and playing on console. Make sure you're using your 5G wifi though. I originally wasn't and had pretty bad connection issues. Update: I just figured out how to set up console streaming, as opposed to xcloud streaming, making this app even more impressive!!

So far, I'm enjoying the experience of this app. My biggest problem is gaming on my phone screen. It's small, and my eyes suck. I tried it on my Naxa tablet, but it's not powerful enough to work properly (video freezes most of the time while the game and audio continue on). I would absolutely love to use this on my Samsung Chromebook Pro, but it's not compatible. HINT, HINT...

Amazing. Been playing Halo 5 during commercial breaks. If you haven't signed up and also been selected for this, the app will do nothing for you. This is why you see 1 star "doesn't even work" reviews. If you did sign up and have been selected, it does work, very well with a decent internet connection. And it's only in its initial testing phase. Should be rocking on slower connections in its finished state hopefully.

First rate experience so far. All games tested run smooth with excellent graphical quality. Occasional sound stuttering but it's not that frequent. This all looks very promising and exciting. To those saying the app doesn't do anything - you need to have been selected to join the xCloud preview. I signed up and was lucky to be chosen. You also need the right hardware and an Xbox controller that can connect to that hardware via bluetooth. I have a Samsung tablet that works fine with xCloud.

I'm very suprised at how well this works right now. It will continue to get better also and I can't wait to experience the official release. Great job on this so far. I experienced 1 stutter when playing and that was when there was ridiculous amounts of stuff going down on screen(explosions, shooting, etc) The input lag was nonexistent for me either and it felt like a console experience on a tiny tablet screen. Very impressed.

I know that this is a Beta or a preview of what is to come. It has awesome potential. I'm really excited for this to work properly through the problem I'm having is Bluetooth connectivity with my xbox remote. My remote is connected to my phone and it works because I can select things and do things with my phone using my xbox controller but when it comes to playing the games in the streaming app it does not recognize any of my buttons being pressed. Hopefully this can be fixed soon.

It is very good. Still has some lag sometimes, but that could be due to network issues. Apart feom that, playing games was fine. I didnt try FPS title yet, but with racing, adventure and strategy games, it was pretty good. Some games has very small texts which was difficult to read, but thats from the individual game features. Also it was nice to play a good number of recent titles. I didnt try multiplayer option yet.

Really awesome! I got picked for the xcloud beta, and it's the future of gaming. (Using s10+) There's slight input lag between the controller and game but isn't to bad. Don't have good wifi so I have to use my data and it's pretty good. When I have a strong signal it runs great, everything runs like if I'm on a Xbox. If I don't, the games refresh rate is really low and noticeable, it can make it hard to play but its understandable for a low signal.

Works great for me. I've played on Wi-Fi and my wireless network. Some lag with the wireless network, but that all depends on location. My biggest issue is that you have to sign out of your Xbox to use this service. Meaning if you want to watch Netflix and game on your phone you can't. Fix thst issue and you will make all my dreams come true!

I won't be giving up my console any time soon but this first glimpse into the future is impressive. There are many factors that will determine performance but my first experience was positive. You must be on 5ghz wifi as 2.4 is virtually unplayable. I did experience some slight lag when I first started but that seemed to smooth out as I played. I'm really looking forward to console streaming and not being tied to my tv. My wife will appreciate that as well.

I am really impressed. Stadia really need to up their game if they want to succeed. This was impressively stable, and I could barely feel any lag in the controls. I was able to drive fine in Forza Horizon 4 and had no issues when it came to Halo 5. Everything felt really good. Once this becomes open to everyone this is going to be really successful in my honest opinion. The library is limited for now but later on I would expect more to be added. I was using 4G and only had a few artifacts. SG-S8

This is the best thing ever! I've tried it on multiple devices, and it works. There are two problems tho: there is in app lag. I know it's from the app only because I've tried it with connecting my controller wired, and there is still lag. The second one is: for wide phones, it makes big bars. I also have some suggestions: if there could be virtual control on screen, if we can choose display and sound quality ourselves from settings, and if there was a zoom option in wide phones for no bars.

I've use this app since the beginning of this year until recently. I had no issues with the application in the beginning. It is very easy to use and most of all the games are playable. Yes there will be lag input especially with lower Wi-Fi connections but when it works it's almost magical. I just recently have a problem with the app crashing after I opening it. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and have the same issue. I've also cleared the cache on the app. Please put a fix for this.

Amazing. The only thing I need is a $50 Xbox controller, and a moderately fast internet connection. Definitely worth it at least for its growing library of games accessible for free. Minimal lag and latency issues, I notice it about 10% of the time. But it is still a preview, and I love every minute of it. Note: First person shooters are the hardest to play because of minor input lag, but very minimal and rarely noticeable. Thanks, Microsoft.

So far smooth! Just set this all up this morning, pretty easy. Loaded up rocket league and it worked perfectly. Now there is the slightest input lag. I'm not sure if it's the remote to the phone, my phones response time, or what. Even though the remote is connected to my phone if I look at my TV the input lag is gone. Now does this make it unplayable? Absolutely not, I was still able to do exactly what I wanted with the ball. Update: fps games hard to play due to input lag. Still pretty cool!

I have been testing since launch in October. It's just amazing. We live in quite the time of technology. The only issue I ever really experience is lag while console streaming. Good internet and hardwired Xbox One X at home. Sometimes it runs phenomenal and others it can be choppy. Being this is still in preview, I can't wait to see the improvements and where it goes. Kudos, Microsoft.

Fantastic potential but much room for improvement. Playing on a Google Pixel 4 XL, everything works well, even better than expected. There is one major flaw that prevents me from playing like I'd like though. The right stick on the controller will not/can not control what it is supposed to. The two games I have attempted to play on that I enjoy the most are Dead by Daylight and Borderlands 2. Flawless, until you realize that you will be facing the same direction forever.

A. G. u. Nov 9, 2019

Have recently started testing. It's definitely a step in the right direction but needs more work, however that's why we're testing. I had button sync issues on my initial testing of Halo 5, the buttons weren't working as intended. However on Gears 5 and Sea of Thieves it worked fine. I am using a genuine updated new Xbox controller. The stream quality is very impressive and the FPS was consistent. Input lag was noticeable on the shooters and needs improvement. My connection is strong.

I love the concept! Microsoft really excelled in this one. It has a great selection of of games. Now I just want to know how to stream games from my xbox to my phone, that would be really helpful. For all those people saying you need a God like wifi to play, that's not true you just need to be close to your router and 90% of the game won't lag. Although it does lag at first when you open the game. When it works, it works GREAT!!

Needs to fix where u can use at home with or without a controller connected to Bluetooth or do on screen controls and to just use at home on the same network shouldn't need a speed test. This can work with no problems and they just need to change a few things to get this to work. This shouldn't be hard. This just lets us use it more freely with less problems.
