XE Currency Pro

Looking for something better. Disappointing as I've paid for this but it's little more than a means to promote paid services. 1: Bad interface design. To easy to accidently reorder the currency list. No way to lock it. 2: Cannot set a rate notifier without signing up. 3: Auto refresh rates is every 60 seconds take it or leave it. 4: If the refresh rate is manual why does it keep going on online for a few seconds?

Bought the paid version because tired of the advertising in the UI. Not expensive at all but I was expecting some additional function. Basically the same app with no adv. The icon once installed lack in definition, is a little bit pixelated. I would like to know when the money transfer for private customer will be available from Japan to Europe. Until then, usual great app, but might be much better.

The recent update is ok in terms of a bit cleaner look (although the previous version was also ok), but the layout of revamped widgets is nothing but s..cks. Tiny numbers with with tiny country flags. I used to love them for a perfect look (cross-rates widgets) but now will completely remove them and not sure if the app is so much needed now too. I may as well check cross rates in any other app too. Please return the previous widget style (bigger digits, bigger flags)!

Thanks developers. A very useful App. I was really tired of my old "Currency Converter" App (it's the most expensive one on the Play Store). So it's time to switch Apps. I really like the UI of this App. Sorry to make the comparison, but I miss a few things 1) A manual or "dropdown" gesture to update the currencies (I'm not a fan of a constant autoupdate options). 2) The charts were a bit easier to read in my old App. It was a linear point style rather than an Area style. Anyway so far it has been a good experience with this App. I'm excited to try this new App. I Hope it will be my new App to stay with. My only wish is (suggestions) if you can add in the General List of personal Currencies, the value of Percentages of changes in the last 24 hours for each Currency in the personal list (As they already had other competitors Apps). it will really be helpful. Was a great app. In fact, I even bought the pro version of their app. Now they appear to have done a sly one and brought out a new app to make this one unsupported! These are dirty tactics to try to force people to pay again for an app they already own! Disgusting. UPDATE: Today the pro version refuses to run and only provides the option to "upgrade." I'll be upgrading, alright, but to a competing app, something I recommend everyone do.

So you guys got better and now I have to pay for the full features of the app all over again? The new version won't let me use the full range of features - cannot recognize my account. And very conveniently, the old version, which i paid for, does not work any longer. Such BS! Buyers Beware!

Note 1: this review is for v6.5.6. Excellent, clean interface, pretty fast to load and update. My go-to app for any exchange rate info. Note 2: don't update to the new version that is on the app store, it's awful. Check the reviews for that.

A step backwards. Terrible compared to the original app, The chart graphics are terrible, the whole app just seems so flakey. Been a user of XE for many years but now it could be time for a change.

Just give me back quick availability of exchange rates. I don't want to upgrade everytime I open the app. I paid for the Pro version; give me what I paid for. The developers may think I want something else but I don't. I just want access to current, live exchange rates. I'll let you know when I want more features, don't assume.

This was a 5 star app until today when they started including an advertisement for their new money transfer app. I paid to remove ads from this app and I'm not happy to see them return. Reviews for the new app say it's poor so I won't be downloading that, instead I'll just have to dismiss their ad to see the rates, for as long as this old app continues to function.

Pro paid user here. Used the app for many years with great satisfaction. But it suddenly stopped to work and now they force you to download another version of the app that is garbage. Disgusting tactics. They lost a customer forever

If only I can give no star at all. Got the pro version and now always redirected to the new version with ad (ad is the reason many of us paid for the pro version). This is how XE treats it's premium members. Not going to recommend this app to anyone. And No, you didn't get better. You got to the lowest of the worst.

I paid for the app to remove the ads,not to look at the promo screen every time I start the app. Was one of my favorite apps, have to find a new one now. Extremely dissatisfied with this.

I paid for this version to have ads free experince. Now, you stopped it and force us to install the free version with ads You dont have the right. We paid for this. Either you activate again or issue refund for us

New layout is horrible. Main screen is too busy, especially if you have multiple currencies. Worst of all is the new keypad. It used to be so clean.

The latest update fixes my only annoyance with this app which was the method of adding and moving around currencies in my list. Now it's my go-to instead of the internet for quickly checking current rates and checking recent currency charts when ever I am going to a new country.

I want the old interfere back. It is far better than this new version of interface. How do I roll back to the old interface? That's why people are afraid of upgrading. They changed everything without you like it or not.

Was working fine but the other day stopped working altogether. Will not refresh rates, get error message; connection error. Claims no Internet but all other apps work fine. Downloaded the other version of XE for now to make do.

Utter rubbish and total nonsense. Does not work and have no time to waste on it any further... uninstalled, and will remain that way.

Well pleased with this app. Purchased it a while ago and would have been happy to give it all the 5 stars. The only reason I've dropped it to 3 is that I'm wondering if there would be any more updates given that the free version seems to be getting updated.

Purchased a pro version and was happy for a while until they released another app that does the same and the one I purchased does not work any more. This is how they scam their clients

Removed the charts on the right of the currency which were really useful and much quicker than going g into the chart link itself. Pro version seems to be no different to free version either.

I paid for the pro version and now each time I opend it I get a request to "UPGRADE" for the FREE ad suported version and now the pro version has stoped!!!! then why do I buy the ad free version! do not use this app there are way better alternatives such as currency plus.I SIMPLY UNINSTALL THIS GARBAGE AND I DEMMAND A REFUND please google ban those developers they are simply thieves. if there are negative rating I would gave it negative.

A great app gone wrong. Paid for removal of the ads, but now it won't stop bugging me to move to the money transfer app which doesn't even work in my area - Malawi. Am on the lookout for an app that doesn't force things on me.

I bought PRO, it was pretty good, but now I can't use it. It forces me on opening to install another unneeded money transfer application! Why...? It's a tricky developer. It's not fair. FO, Uninstalled!

I bought the pro version last year. Recently when auto-updated the app is missing in my frequently used apps screen. When I checked the installed app it is already on a free version. How do I recover the paid version?

Sorry but i dont like this new interface, i prefered old one. Please get us old one, or option to use old one. The new ui is not untiutive and not simple. And reset all my settings. Ty for screwing my favorite app.
