In XenoShyft Onslaught players take on the role of a commander in the NorTec Corporation. You're tasked with defending your division of the NorTec base as wave after wave of horrific Hive beasts attempt to destroy the base and end NorTec's strip mining operation.

Xenoshyft is a game for 1-4 players, with each player controlling one of the divisions of the Nortec military: The Science Labs, Med Bay, Armory, Weapon's Research, Barracks and Command Center. Each of these divisions represents one part of the overall Nortec base, and it is your job as Commander of these divisions to protect the base while its field operations are completed.
You and your teammates will have to work together to survive the continuous onslaught of horrors – the goal of the mission is not to wipe out these threats, it is merely to outlast them!
Survive through nine rounds of combat with these horrors and the base will have succeeded in its mission, and you and your allies will have survived to fight another day!

I Dunno, I can't seem to not die in this game. Fun factor may grow if I keep playing it, but might be hard to stick with it compared to other games. It seems like there's no difficulty ramp, it's just straight to hard, which feels like this could have been avoided in a digital version of a board game.
I always wanted to play the physical boardgame but decided to save a few bucks by going digital. If you watch Rodney Smith's tutorial on his amazing Youtube chnnel "Watch it Played" it will ease the barrier of entry enormously. The app itself has a fine eniugh rulebook but I still recommend the aforementioned tutorial video. The music, sound effects and opening dialogue immediately plunge you into a rich and believable universe. Gameplay is solid and better yet very replayable. Great Job!
Decent game, interface is ok but it is often hard to tell if you are in targeting mode or not, meaning that I accidentally apply an effect to the wrong character because I was double tapping to see what they did. Fun otherwise though
i really enjoy the music and computer voice. Sound effects are fun too. The basic game establishes its atmosphere very well. I'm penalizing the game 2 stars for Dreadmire though. Most of the monster abilities are just "your abilities stop working" which is lazy developing. Put some effort into it and create unique xenos abilities for the players to respond to. Nullification powers sap the game of strategy and make all the equipment cards you designed pointless.
I really hope we can have mode that ascension has where you can take turns over the course of days to play a match. My buddy and I do this in other games such as ascension but its void here so you either play the match out or quit and lose all progress. Please support this product more!!!!!
Ive had this game for about two years and have yet to beat it lol With that said, its one of the best CCGs on GP. Great graphics, sound design , UI, etc. 5/5 easy
A fun game. Minus points only for wonky lag and stuck gameplay when playing more them one faction solo. It works just fine if you stick to just one.
Brutally hard even on easy! But easily playable on a phone thanks to the quick zoom on cards. Multiplayer login should be linked to the Google account.
The interface could be a little cleaner but it brings a really good game to mobile for a good price. Well worth the money.

this score would be alot higher if they wouls ever update the rules and fix some of the bugs.... also where the hell is the forbidden sciences and fire expansion for dreadmire??
So much better now, just like the board game I love. Edit Spoke too soon, elite card abilities go off most of the time, some times skips right to deploy phase after wrap up phase, chainsaw doesn't work 60% of the time. Still good but needs work
The game is brutally difficult, but I enjoy it. I like this version over the card game because there is less shuffling, but sometimes I think the ai gets the rules wrong. Ahh it doesn't matter I was going to lose anyway.
Really fun to play. Sadly there is just no one on multiplayer. Be prepared to get your face demolished before you start winning at this game. Once in a while you get bad rng and loose in suffering, but most of the time you can use all the card ability at your disposal to mitigate enough damage or do just enough damage to survive all 9 rounds.
A really fun and brutally hard card game. Your goal is to survive an onslaught of alien forces by using limited resources. You must survive 3 rounds with 3 waves each. Each round becomes increasingly more difficult. You survive by purchasing troops and support items that can help you fight off the aliens. There are a few bugs that crop up occasionally but overall it is a very challenging and well made experience. There is some DLC but it ranges in cost from $.99 to $1.99. It is in no way required and just gives extra options for the game. If you don't mind losing more often than you win, feel free to try it out!
Fun despise its rng heavy nature but some bug ruin the experience. Dreadmire save us all.
Game freezes constantly on multiplayer. Unplayable. Cards glitch to permanently cover screen once viewed.
It is a great game, but it sometimes is a bit odd. It can get very buggy very fast. The only other complaint I have is that if a monster's ability deals damage to a unit that it doesn't fight like Quill beast then it should show some effect to see it easier
This is a difficult coop or solitaire game. Expect to lose more than you win. Expect to lose sometimes despite doing everything right. Expect that going in and you will not be turned off by being crushed. My only complaint is that the science team is LEAGUES better than all the other team options.
Game is unplayable, whenever off the screen or go to home screen to check something, the game become unresponsive, nothing work.
Great game and great art! Definitely worth the purchase.

This is a deck builder game that includes all the cards you need to have fun (note decks are built in real-time). It is more polished then I expected. Really having fun with this one :)

WARNING - GAMES REQUIRES YOU TO BE ONLINE TO PLAY EVEN IF YOU ONLY WANT TO PLAY SINGLEPLAYER. Game itself is fun but I'm extremely unimpressed with the interface.
I am in love with the art style & opening of this game but especially for a paid game I was very disappointed by the incredibly minimalist animations & sound effects. The buying phase is unintuitive & effects that should just activate on their own require complicated user input. It's definitely built for larger screens like tablets or computers & doesn't suit phones. The multiplayer is genuinely neat & I like so many of the concepts in this game. It just lacks personality & doesn't feel fluid.
