Xiaoma Hanzi Chinese Character

This was a great app. Unfortunately it doesn't work on newer Android versions, 5 stars of you have an older phone.

I'm preparing for hsk level 6 and xiaoma has been a wonderful resource. the character combination lists, while not comprehensive, do provide ample combinations. the inclusion of traditional counterparts is i huge plus. now if it only had an option for comprehensive word lists and a traditional character search function I'd pay good money for it. ;) hint for future updates. there are a lot of foreigners learning chinese in areas using traditional.

Hi, the hanzi app is great, however, I found the following: After search and chose a hanzi search result, if it is not the desired one press the back button, but it doent go back to the search results but to the last viewed hanzi. Also, could be nice to search in english and find the hanzi. Thanks

Wonderfully simple interface and navigation. That really helps to concentrate on learning, while not restricting functions at all: there's study and test mode, character lists for HSK1-4 and of most frequent characters, as well as a 'favorite' list. For each character there are example words (so useful yet so rare a feature!). It would be a dream if example words were available offline, and if you could edit the character definition and add own words to example list. THANK YOU!

After downloading app, I could not download the dictionary. Uninstalled. Reinstalled but still didn't work. Using Pleco and Hanping now.

Would be nice if there is a possibility of changing background to black and the letters to white. Also customize the colors of the tones.

This app is just PERFECT for learning hanzi, both traditional and simplified! With examples too, and lots of selectable lists like the commonmost ones or those with a certain radical...love it

Great app. Perfect if it has setting option as at the moment it does not allow to set more word

This is where i should start to recognise characters. Links up visually similar characters so that i can make sense of the words in an organised way. I love it more than just trying to remember words with pictures. Thanks so much!

I really love it and please keep up the good work! But can you brilliant people who made this app,make an app for conjugating the chinese verbs please?! Please?! Please?! Conjugation is how I got to learn Spanish language very fast and easy! I have all the other helpful chinese apps but I just need one that is all about conjugation! XD

It should be auto appear without click on character...

Full offline version along with a table/ list of pinyin is also required

Wish you could make separate favorites lists for quiz mode but a great program love it

Totally agree with the last reviewer, why can't I just flip through the characters? Going to the list is so inefficient! So close, yet so far.
