The Xim itself works great, no complaints there, but pairing Nintendo controllers of any sort hasn't worked for me. On my old phone, I had a really hard time using the app to connect to my xim, but with my new phone, it works like a charm. overall great, I think you should make it emulate an xbox controller so you dont have to plug it in, same with playstation. I also think that you should add Nintendo switch support. Overall great though.
Doesnt work with my new xbox controller, the ones with the share buttons on them, has and does work for all older controllers but mine broke and doesnt work with the new one
I love this! But only when it works. I have had my adapter for about a year, when I got it and it worked perfectly. But after a month or two it would sometimes not work. I have everything in the right spot, I updated it to the latest firmware, and got new cords to connect to the controller.It says it is all connected but it just doesn't allow me to do anything.
Bought the product and loved it, apps easy to use and it was all great no issues what so ever. Until last night, my mouse keyboard and controller no longer register and I have no idea I'd this a hardware or software issue and tbh there's no where that actually gives you help you've got to rely on YouTube and even that is terrible, I've tried everything from unitwlling and reinstalling the app to factory resetting my xim. There's no way I could suggest this if I can't even use it.
Great app, great technology, for people wondering why you can bind a button to multiple keys. It's not the adaptors fault it's the console games coding to not allow controller customisation. And limited buttons so they put multiple actions on one button. Putting one button on multiple keys would be just pressing that button once with different keys wouldn't actually do the different actions.
A little confusing at the beginning but once reread made sense firmware updated no problem Don't know if I recommend power cord for the hub but I got it just in case. Make sure you have a PC and the app is easiest on Android or ISO. Disconnects when out of range of Bluetooth just an FYI. All in all solid product. Now for the muscle memory. Always seem to solve one problem to gain another. Life goes on +REP
I love this thing. it works so well and the configurating is user friendly and can be switched to more advanced settings for more experienced users. my only real issue was that the r6 siege configuration is a bit broken. you can't set ads lean, and I find that annoying because I purchased the product for r6. I would also like to be able to edit configurations whilst out and about without being synced to my Xim. please change this, I would be very grateful kind regards 😁
Great to use but it keeps saying to do a firmware update for Xbox series x but there is no update for it.
This app work really well with the limitation it has with it converting from joystick input. But we need a borderlands 3 config, when you look up and down it zigzags instead of just going straight up makes ADS rather difficult. Hope to get one soon.
5 star before, now it wont connect wirelessly. You need to plug it into your PC then press the button on the xim to connect 'safe mode' or whatever THEN if you wanna test it out, you gotta switch from your computer to ps4 repeatedly. It's useless now.
This is definitely a great product, or at least it was until the recent update. Now as soon as the xim adapter tries to connect, it crashes immediately. Will update review when this issue is fixed.
I have used Xim devices for more than 10 years. I updated my firmware on the Apex for Series X and reinstalled Apex Manager as it wasn't show Series X as an option. Now it just crashes no matter what I do. DO NOT UPDATE FOR SERIES X, it's not ready for prime time.
Great app for the xim Apex BUT it's missing a lot of games from it's library. It's mainly first person games or third person games and never has support for 2D games like Stardew Valley or support for racing games like Horizon Chase Turbo and lots of other games in those categories. It's lacking a lot of stuff, it doesn't even have support for Resident Evil 4 but has support for earlier Resident Evil games and games after 4.
amazing it took weeks to learn mouse and keyboard so worth it omg its amazing. I wanted to quit at first and go back to controller. I would go to training mode for 2 hours get frustrated and go back to controller and after 2 weeks of 2 hours a day i have become a god
From a person to wanting a keyboard for Ps4 for years to finally having a chance to play and create my own config. This app is the real deal. I have been using this app for about 2 months and I can create My own profiles for games at a single touch. This app never let's me down and I have been loving the new profiles I have been creating for rainbow six, bo4, and many other games. I have given them 5 stars because they have exceeded my expectations.
I can honestly say you you get EXACTLY what you pay for! Xim Apex and Xims manage are both outstanding hardware! Its confusing to learn at first but you'll get it fairly quickly. Just play around with everything until you have it set to your perferred likings. It was truly a great investment to improve my gaming abilities
Im loving my Apex and its customization although I currently am having issues reconnecting my controller with the hub. I replaced my wire with a new usb 2.0 and it isnt working at all now sadly. Controller on, synced & lit up with no batteries but it isnt displaying on my xim manager or allowing my keyboard to function on my console. Also I know that most of the time if firmware updates are released we're told to use the latest retail manager version but is there a way to get the beta? (NOT APK)
Great app... Work perfectly anyone having issues with the apex try different USB ports it only works in the front of my Xbox.... And the mouse and keyboard have to be in the correct ports as well.... Keep up the great w9rk guys....
An Excellent App for an Excellent product. Great community with great support. DO visit their website for any questions you have. Their forums are very active and have been for years. I will use this on every console game until native support is provided. The few console games that do have have native mouse and keyboard support, this is more often than not the better choice.
Was a great app with a great product, enjoyed it thoroughly, however when I updated the app to the latest software update, now whenever I go to re open the app it crashes and can't connect to the xim itself. Please fix this will update review when matter is solved. -Jad
Good working app. Only thing about this app is I wish I could unmap buttons on the mouse. I have 6+buttons and some of them I don't use but it's mapped to something default and wish I could undo that.
Connecting to my apex only works 1/10 times. I spend more time trying to connect to it than I get to play. When it finally connects it always freezes upon unlocking my Pixel 2 trying to change or update a config
It was awesome until the update. Now half the buttons won't work correctly at all. Unusable. Now it works! 5 stars!
Ok so this app is good (when working) most of the time i attempt to connect it and the app is acting as if my adapter doesn't exist it always just says read failure when it is no more than a millimeter from the adapter.
App not working, so basically this product was amazing until the most recent update which actually prevents my app from working so if you would like to find a fix for ASAP as £90 for something that doesn't work isn't the best business selling point :)
Speechless. On the app it says what I'm doing in game but it doesnt actually do the action in game. Staff dont reply either been 3 weeks and still haven't been emailed back. Dont spend £130 on this product. Even if I get it working it will still be a complete waste of time and money.
It wont connect anymore, the app crashes once opened and ive tried every thing to get it to run. Very unhappy, i use this for old single player fps games that arent ported to pc.
To everyone who has just bought a Xim Apex and has now come to use the app. Please please please! Look online on how to get it connected. I found some links on Reddit that told me to "download" some Xim files and it worked and I have never had a problem. Now, some context, yes many reviewers are saying they can't connect or other related issues regarding this app so again, please look online to solve you're issue especially since you just bought an $200+ adapter! :D
