Latest update is much slower than the previous version, uses confusing icons, is baffling to access set and call for ptz, requires me to scroll for 5 mins if I need a high number for a set ptz point and generally breaks up all the ptz controls so I have to pointlessly change to different frames to pan then to zoom. Taking off hardware acceleration slightly improved speed (reverse of what it should be) but still much slower than the old app. On the plus point, video playback is vastly improved!
"Connect close"? What is this? It's all I see on my device but neither the xvision or y3k websites can tell me. Even the great and powerful Google can't help and the app itself doesn't off anything in the way of useful support. Until this started happening, the app was great. Used it many times to remotely check suspicious activity and even help police with enquiries for neighbours. Just now though, it all seems a bit useless.
Update May 2021, seems the devs have fixed stuff. Now my goto app for latest android. Can't do everything from it though, like at a nvr station. July 2019, Does not work well on android 6.0.1. Screen orientation is always 90 degrees out. Update-July 2021, Push notifications still don't work properly. Still not in time of event order and don't update daily unless cleared down daily. Fix it pls.
Be great to have a rewind slo mo. Playback is tricky to navigate but the developer helped me promptly and professionally, excellent (so pleasing to get a positive, quick and clear response from the developer).
New app is a vast improvement, but under remote setting, then selecting PIR, a message very quick pops up and disappears. Saying page doesn't exist, then jump back to remote setting menu Will review again when bug fixed (find it hard to believe this got through quality control)
Far too slow, app doesn't always load! Playback takes forever, again far too slow to load! Let's just hope your not in a rush if you want to playback something. Needs a major overall XIQCMS!!!!!!
I have two DVRs and before the last update I could view the cameras from both devices on the screen simultaneously. Now I have to select each device in turn. Very inconvenient and certainly a retrograde step.
App is fine for live view but provides only very basic playback facilities. The is no slow rewind or single stepping facility. It feels like the supplier is not interested in providing useful updates.
Since the last Samsung update for android the app is acting strange, I can no longer see the options at the bottom of the screen.. i.e ptz record capture etc If I change my settings to hide my navigation bar then the apps shortcuts are visible.
This app has improved greatly over the last few updates, and is thankfully unrecognisable from the slow cluncky app it was initially. Connection is quicker, and usability much improved. Keep it up 👍
The app seems to have changed in appearance. Dont really like the new system. You have to tell it to show HD images. Not as intuitive as it should be.
9 out of 10 well better than previous xiq more stable big+ just missing ability to edit DVR settings. IE add camera to DVR.
Was a brilliant app but since last update I only have half the screen available for viewing cameras as can't get rid of the resolution choices to make room... Please put it back to before
Brilliant upgrade. Can we order the camera notifications in the next release? Grouping all the alerts on a per camera basis rather than a steady stream of random notifications.
Great app for looking on cameras but not happy about it counting down then cutting the cameras off after a minute or two,. 👍
Old version app was 10 time better than new one when open the app cctv camera not clear in phone app all the time need to put HD settings.
Not as good as I expected & certainly not up to Lorex standard. The latest update has transformed the app making it worthy of 5 stars. This how it should have been.
Brilliant bit of kit works better than the swann security app. Far more configuration abilities. Gives me full control over swann enforcer systems.
Live viewing is perfect, reviewing is tricky to operate on a phone but works well enough.
Rubbish. used to work but just won't connect, even after reinstalling it numerous times. Don't waste your time
Sometime-ish I have to keep reloading the app the get my cameras up on my phone. Even then I don't always get all them up
Unable to select alarms when connecting direct to camera, not able to adjust intelligent functions on camera etc.
I get an Error message "No channel" which means I can't use it, I can't even log in to the device.
Since the update, this has been fantastic. Videos are very quick to load.
when i try to open the app the following message appears - sorry, application encounters an exception, please exit.

The previous version in my opinion was better. The main reason you could set the display to the best image and next time you go back to it the image was still set at best.. The new version you need to change every time to get the best image. Otherwise it would be excellent in every other way. Been using app for a long time hope this small problem can be sorted.
