What a wonderful app. Finally one which makes changing resolutions of multiple media fun. Thank you ❤ I'm missing 1-3 little basic features. 1) This app is all about saving new versions rights? Then saving/ converting into HEIF should be possible too. 2) Changing names of templates would save time. 3) Also during exporting replacing existing photos instead of creating new ones would be helpful.
Thank you for the creation of this useful utility. I have been waiting for an application that would be able to apply text / image watermarks in batch with opacity. I would have rated 5-star but decided 4 for now. The reason is, it could be (should be) a bit more intuitive in the settings process. It took me several trial and error attempts to figure out how to change opacities for text or background colors. Ultimately I found out it is necessary to press on the color after the settings are selected at the end rather then only settings selection. Also, it would be nice to be able to see the affect of selected settings in real time, prior to saving. This would preclude having to exit and re-enter adjustments multiple times in order to confirm the quality of the setting. Other then that, it is a very useful tool. I may purchase this app if these issues are fixed in a subsequent version release and change my rating to 5-star.
Excellent app. In my previous review I thought I might have found a bug. After being contacted by the developers I tested the app again and realized that the problem was me😢. Fact is:the app is flawless and it is a joy to work with. I highly recommend it to anyone as it not only offers resizing capabilities but also the option to add text and watermarks. My apologies to the developers.....
Canvas size? I've used the PC app for years, so started using the phone app. Very useful for various things, including batch compressing images (eg PNGs to JPGs for wallpapers). But one feature that would be useful, but is absent, is canvas size. Being able to add to a 'canvas' rather than subtract or simply resize entire image would be useful. Ideally with a colour picker to choose colour of expanded area.
app is nice as is, but could be better if it gave option to 1. SAVE INPLACE (replace / overwrite) original file. and 2. configure folder for output folder if used. I also installed the desktop version. That is fantastic and has those features and many, many more. Excellent job on desktop version. :-)
I have been using your fantastic xnview on pc for sooo many years 🙂👍 This is another no nonsense easy to use app and like the interface (only would like the option to change main colour from Orange/yellow to something darker, maybe next update 😉). Was already happy with resize me app but this is much better & sharing after conversion is awesome via email. Thank you
I expected much, much more from XnView. Any free graphics editor could produce the results I see from this pathetic attempt. Really XnView you should be ashamed of yourself. Such a noble brand; such a deep disappointment! Fortunately there is an app with advanced upscaling: Get AlpacaSoft’s “Enlarge & Correct Image” App (maximum 4000px). And XnView — put your lab coat back on because this exercise isn’t worthy of you and to charge money for it is a disgrace.
A nifty utility to resize images; and it's super fast. Compression algorithms can be selected, this is a plus point. Only one request: Please darken the menus (add dark mode).
A better version of the best image downscaler. I will buy the premium version out of appreciation. Lanczos is a nice algorithm, from my experience with similar web applications.
Amazing, a little confused at first but figured out to press next instead of convert to add text and watermark. Great job with this App. Makes life much easier with the paid version.
Bad. So many bugs. Select your pictures gallery wont update, pressing back button takes you back to the editing page like why would I like to edit again? DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
Complete conversion tool. It's as if you're working on a pc, with a surprisingly accessible interface.
This is great, no need to use the slower app browser. Great on batching and doing on the fly image resizing. Shout out to Dev team.
Missing Canvas resize. I use the pc version to automatically put images inside a frame. Would like to have this a ability here too. But canvas resize is not here unfortunately.
Thanks to the Dev for the quick reply. I'd like an option to rotate the image according to exif metadata, because I load the images into ffmpeg, and ffmpeg cannot interpret the exif rotation data, thus some images are loaded upside down.
What a bad app. Does not see sd card and crashes. Does not recognize HEIC images. I am surprised to see so low quality from a reputable developer.
So far so good. Does exactly what it promises and can handle multiple conversions/edits at a time for free.
I really like the PC version. I couldn't figure out how to select a specific directory I want to convert and a specific output directory on my uSD card.
The in app pro purchase option for 4$ allows the user to help you improve? lol gtfo. Your app would be wonderful, you probably fired or underpayed the genius engineers because it would be perfect IF ONLY it would write down to disk at the end... lmao
Just like all the rest of the cr*p apps on google play, this app doesn't even give you the option to convert to A4. Conversions are in some cr*ppy, unfathomable formats. No good!
Easy and convenient to convert for email.
Works great as long as you're okay with doing 10 pics at a time
Nice for bulk conversion of files.
Great app. I have not experienced any bugs or issues and app does exactly what it says it will do
There PC software is much better but they are a good conversion app!
Love the desktop XNView app, but this spinoff is not what I need for my tablet.
Just wish I could use full screen without cutting heads off!
Does not save the converted files anymore on my Android 10.
XnView is fantastic. This app is awful. Slick design but terrible, illogical functionality. No ability to save as anything other than jpeg to local folder, but if you do a convert, you can save as other formats BUT only to a Google drive. There are far better apps that do conversations than this piece of junk. Disappointing from makers of such a fantastic Windows program. Instead of messing about, why don't you use the file picker provided by Android? Indeed, you will have to for latest Android.
