Xoom Money Transfer

Best app for international money transfers. Most of the times I get good exchange rates compared to other apps like Remitly. One thing I like in Xoom is the transfer speed. We can send amounts just in minutes and they later deduct the amount from our account which is great. Also Xoom app is PayPal's official app so we can trust it. I got my amount refunded once when something went wrong. So, I trust this app and recommend.

This is the perfect way to send money, internationally! Much better than Western Union where many recipients cannot get the money directly to their bank &/or don't have time to find/make it to a pick up point to get their money & since it's part of PayPal I feel like it's much safer & more secure. I would recommend this to anyone sending money, internationally or domestically!

great idea and convenient however that is only when and if the transactions aren't canceled before you had the chance to reload the.... which I can count on one hand how many times I've been able to send money successfully without problems or giving up and moving to another service... simply put theres an 80/20 chance of transactions clearing and completing

I recommend 100% the xoom services. fast, reliable, simple. it notifies you in every step of the transactions. I worked in technology and this app has great standards of security and what I like the most is the customer services by phone which is outstanding.

Terrible customer support, password reset emails didn't send until the next day. Reset password 4 times and still wouldn't let me log in - got an error message 4 times. Called customer support, they couldn't help, transferred to another department, they couldn't help, transferred to a 3rd department. They told me to just call paypal. Neved got into my account.

Why would you guys not introduce fingerprint login ? Everytime I have to enter password after app update you guys sign me off. Damn it 🙆🏻‍♂️😑 Still don't see finger print login under settings. This is not an issue , this is a feature development missing.

Update: I went through all verifications and it still doesn't work. You lost me. I'm lowering to 1 star and uninstalling:::To recharge your phone, they have bizarre, dumb dollar amounts. I wanted to add a whopping $10, but was unable because I needed to do it because I needed 5 transactions to get that amount. This triggered security issues, which canceled transactions. Major fail, Zoom. I ended up about 50 cents short, and needed to use another app to accomplish a very simple task.

Not sure if this will be just as easy as on desktop, but I had great experience through atleaset doing it on desktop!, never had any troubles that weren't caused by my own blunders!.

Ignore the 1 star, it should be less. No matter the device I cannot send money under any circumstances. When raising the issue I'm asked to phone them, something that my personal situation means us impossible. Sorry but this app needs rebuilding from the ground up and ghe help centre dhould read the emails without simply firing off a generic reply

Very quick and simple to send money instantly! But unfortunately now there are apps with higher rates with no fees and transfer quickly too.

excellent service. never problem. but need to allow "edit recipients" when id. expired. or changed address. as is first document they need to pick up money. also. real customer service. non of the options qualify on the menu to help in this matter. a real person to talk. that's why I give 4 stars. other than that excellent.

Not helpful! Worse service I have had so many issues with them this year and 1/2 I have been using service. Only convenience was that it was with PayPal. But when you have an issue with funding it takes for ever to get your money back so I'm stuck with o optio but to wait. Will be deleting this app after my money is returned for a transaction xoom cancelled!!! Not helpful calling customer service my bank was more helpful!!

My first and only transaction was canceled by Xoom. I then followed up with the documentation they required from me and answered every security question but according to them, the "system" didn't remove the restrictions after I provided everything they needed. At the end, they asked me to use a different service as if I were a person they didn't want to deal with, basically they treated me like a scammer.

This app worked fine for me for the first 3 transactions. However, when I tried to send money recently again, they asked me for the proof of ID for one of the recipients. Not a big deal. But the recipient whose ID they were asking for was the one that I sent money to 1 year ago!!! So basically Xoom won't transfer the money to the new recipients until I provide them with the ID of the recipient from one year ago. And let's not mention how clueless the Xoom Compliance Dept representative are.

If you want to transfer money, this is not the app you want to use. If you are thinking about going back to addiction or need a little push to make you go ahead and pull the trigger? This is exactly the app for you. Try to PAy these clowns to perform a simple service and you will find yourself in an absolute nightmare. Constant verification needed (inspite of years of being a PayPal customer with no incident, using debit cards that have been on file for years) must request permission to send

If I could give Zero I would. Terrible, not effective customer service. Approved two transactions, cancelled third for the same recepient with no explanation. Hours on the phone, supervisor is not available, of course. Do not bother, worst service ever. Did the same transfer with Western Union for several min.

Great app. Reasonable exchange rate. Transfer money almost always instantly. Never let me down. Highly recommended.

Hope PayPal likes my money. They allow you to setup up account and use it but freezes your money infinitely on your first transaction. Will not even let you refund the money to the sender that sent you the initial transaction. SAD😭😭😭😭😭

Trying to save, I sent my entire direct deposit to my savings account. The closest bank branch is 2 hrs away. I needed to access my funds immediately, I don't have a checking, only a savings account at that bank. WU and ALL money transfer services only accept checking or debit cards. Xoom accepted, after verifying with my bank, and doing thorough, but fast, security checks. I'm so happy that I can access my money today. Thanks Xoom!!!

Have been using for some years, always a great and smooth experience. just need to improve on bank account validation process. Sometimes it doesn't connect with the bank even with correct credentials

I've used this app for a long time. Always worked fine, until I had to cancel my debit card. I tries to edit and enter my new debit card number. It won't let you do that. I was able to edit all the information except rhe card number. That's ridiculous.

easiest way to get money internationally. However, perhaps better screening of vendors needed, as several refused to accept XOOM after money sent to them. Customer service nonexistent. Fees charged that should not be when transfered from my PayPal balance...no one follows up online requests for refund of fees.

Dont use!!! Was in a emergency situation and had to send money to Mexico and used me direct checking account they never got the money!!! I had to send again with my debit card and finely went through and has been a nightmare to cancel the first transaction And now I have bills due and out all my money! Don't use this sender !!!!

I love Xoom! So easy to send money overseas at such a low price! Wish Xoom was around when I was repaying my international student loan. Love that they have thought about everything - languages and international texting. Whoever the product manager for this product is, kudos!

Seems very Good..No problems noted. I have been using for over one year sending money to Columbia.
