For example, when you nudge a tag embedded with Bedroom scenario with your phone, the sound, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi will be turned off at once. SmartTags have ready-to-use profiles each with a pre-defined set of actions. Profiles include Home, Car and Bedroom.

The design looks good and it is easy to add commands tasks. Howevr some essential functions are missing: 1. Switch on/off airplane mode 2. Dial a number (currently it only shows the keypad with the number that I set it up to dial but I need to press the "Call" button to actually dial the number.
I've always wanted a quick and easy way to switch profiles on my Xperia phones. This solves my problem nicely. I only have 2 tags now but I have ordered more as I'm very happy with this function. I gave it only 4 stars because it is missing GPS on/off/toggle. When they fix this I will give it 5 stars.
Tested on xperia T and nexus 7, both work well... sadly my black tag has gone missing, so maybe giving a idiot proof chain with each download so you don't lose them would be good. Seriously using the tags while the screen is off would be very useful, pressing the on switch and swiping is a lot of unnecessary work. Lol
The smart tags are a great idea, but I am having a problem. One of my settings sets an alarm... And the alarm doesn't actually go off. So I end up waking up later than I want. It would be good to add the ability to add airplane mode too.
For some reason the widget does not display the tag im currently using. Abit annoying
I bought the Sony smart tags as they seemed to be the best with good support, I hope so anyway!?! The widget does not display correctly on my phone & the app only displays half of the tags available. Please can you share handsets with lower resolutions to use the app? I have a HTC Desire c with nfc obviously :-)
Application is installd but couldn,t open it. Quite not sure whether it works with non xperia phones and smart tags too.
If it could enable/ disable airplane mode and work from sleep mode it'd be perfect. Alas itdoesn't so four stars it gets.
I have the Xperia Smart tags, which work great with any NFC reader. This app does not work unless you also have an Xperia phone. It doesn't work on my Nexus 4 or on a friend's Galaxy Nexus.
For those experiencing NFC issues, keep the tag held against the device's NFC logo until recognition appears.
This App can not identify my ST although smart connect worked very well with my ST. Moreover, I think you should enlarge the function that Smart Connect can do such as change the phone to air plane mode ( I can't find it in add action, if it already had, teach me how to turn it on ^^).
Exactly what I was looking, quick and easy way to change profiles without toggling through widgets. Just quick contact, and job done.
I downloaded the app and I cant find the app on the phone I can uninstalled and reinstalled and I still cant find them... and it shows its install but it nowhere to be found on the phone. I'm returning. Phone and tags really soon
After upgrading to ics my smart tags do not work properly. I hope Sony can fix this soon
I have 2 sony Smarttag and can't edit the info with this app
Nice app, but the option to switch on GPS as in the video isn't in the task list. According to the program NFC Task launcher do the device need to be rooted to switch on the GPS. The storage size of the tags are also to small.
You need the LiveWare Manager app too and it will work. Its has almost all the options available to it. I use it quite a bit on One X.
It can detect the NFC tag but it doesn't activate the Smart Tag App.
i have a s3 going to get another phone (experia ion) and going to get nfc tags wwith this its like ive alresdy got my nfc tag
After upgrading to ICS some tags were not detected. I found a setting for ''Android Beam '' and turning this off has improved the detection of my tags. Improvement Only! Xperia S
I downloaded the app and once it was installed it didn't show up on my phone. Can't find it anywhere even after using search. Now my tags are useless
After testing the app the smart connect app takes over the smart tags and controls through there.
But I still using XPERIA smart tag . I can't belive u relase useless update with minor changes... While u could do much more better . Sony developers are useless?
It was a good widget but unfortunately it is not working with Smart Connect (Updated version of LiveWare). In fact it is useless now!
Sony, can you update it somehow? Its 2019, UI looks so bad.
