I had been searching for the simple 'turn off' button' on those irritating popups for quite a while, before II suddenly ran into this puppy. Usually I hate it when a simple setting requires an extra app, but this one just does what it says it does, and a little extra as well. With no effort, no clotting , no background activity. Love it. Here's your A+ :)
Anyone that can't get this to work, shouldn't be messing with xposed anyway. This works as intended, if you can't figure it out, I hope you brick your phone in the process so you can stop leaving crappy reviews for great apps
I bought a cover flip cover case when I bought the Galaxy S5 that requires you to remove the back cover and fit the phone onto the case. This caused a nuisance of an issue with that d*** warning popup literally every 5-10 seconds and I've been dealing with it for over 2 years until today. This app is invaluable.
This app doesn't work. I downloaded it on my Samsung Galaxy S4 phone and clicked the bottoms to disable notifications and it still continues. Also frustrated that I had to delete basically every app on my phone and my camera role to make room for the enormous Framework downlaod to make the app work. I did what it said, I don't know what I did wrong. It must be the app.
I just completed a root/recovery/ROM rebuild on my previously full stock AT&T S3. The Likewise S5 ROM uses the S5 GUI elements so this was the perfect way to rid the ROM of the annoying Samsung S-Finder and Q-Connect buttons in the notification drawer. This app earned its 5-star rating due to the simple design and perfect implementation in the Xposed Framework. For those out there that complained about the need for root, you should spend some time on the xda forums to read up on these topics before down rating this developer's work.
Wasted quite a lot of time trying to get this to work before finding out on some forum that it doesn't work on Android Lollipop or Mashmallow. Rooted my phone and voided warranty for nothing. Lame.
I orginally rated this a 1 out of ignorance. It trashed my s-health, you need to lookup how to fix this, essentially you need to edit the build.prop file, then install xposed. After that there are loads of tweaks you can make. You will have total control over your phone.
One more function just for suggestion. If you could add an ability to lockup the desktop icons from accidentally being dragged off, then it would be really perfect. There are ppl love things to be simple just like what your app did.
Pain to DL and install, goes through diff service (to hide permissions needed, Playstore says none needed but untrue!). Rebooted both soft and hard. Followed youtube video, repeated. Tried other options, NOTHING in this app works. :(
Its always saying Download Xposed... and i do exactly what it says but it just keeps repeating
Great app works perfectly on my GS4 i9505 running Goldfinger custom rom with Xposed framework! Some proper numbnuts putting bad feedback on here that clearly can't read and are totally clueless when it comes to Xposed framework!
If it doesn't work for you, try restarting after applying the settings. Was confused too.
Tried disabling the battery cover and charging port warnings. Rebooted and tried again. Pop-ups still appear.
Downloaded module and installed ok. Still get the constant annoying 'cover open' pop-up.
I installed this to finally remove these annoying check usb cover and back cover reminder popups and it does it like before. Don't download. Piece of crap
Never worked after following tutorial, still get those stupid pop ups.
To get rid of the stupud s finder and quick connect But of course this didn't work.
Says "There was a problem when parcing the package" when I try to install the framework 😢
I didn't really like the s finder to begin with installed the app confugered the settings bam no more s finder 5 stars for me
Used to hide the clear button and No Notifications indicator on my S4. Now it doesn't. Bummer
worked great in my Note 3 to disable S finder, but unfortunately not for long. Useless to me. My phone is not rooted due to the locked bootloader (N900V)
Running stock Marshmallow with Xposed framework on S5 SM-G900F . This module did not take away popups, S-finder and Quick connect buttons. Other modules running fine.
very bad app. does not work on 6.01. it actually made the back cover popup show up when i disabled. it never ever showed up on reboot but it did when i tried this app. avoid it does not work
On my galaxy S4 it does not open and it keeps complaining that the framework does not exist and needs to be downloaded from a website. I downloaded the framework from the play store however it still fails to open. It actually slowed down my mobile
Xposed Framework isn't up to date yet with latest S5 architecture.
I installed the app and install file as the direction directed. I'm still getting the battary pop ups. Doesn't work.
This is just what the doctor ordered. It's nice to run across an app that works 100% as advertised. I would give this app 6 stars if I could.
Hides annoying warnings very well.
Xposed installer doesnt work on my huawei G7 rooted by kingo..
After installing the Xposed Framework from xda-forum I ticked this modul here to activate it. Nice and simple on my SM-G900F, it did not change anything else. Keep up the great work and thank you .) edit: It seems to be necessary to keep this app as well as the framework installed in order to prevent the device from undoing your change. But this is only one module out of many to experiment with, so to me that is no problem at all.
