Xposed GEL Settings [ROOT]

Update: This is an abandoned app. Do not buy. The dev lacks experience and it shows. App breaks every time Google pushes an update. Dev has also been openly offensive to (paying) customers in the past and has not been active in providing promised features. It's not a bad app, but at this point I'm almost ready to switch to another launcher or just stick with vanilla.

The only module that makes the Google launcher even better by customizing it. Loving the new tabs and folders management. The bottom tabs is awesome and so is the requested swiping between tabs. I just can't stand Google launcher without the module. Could you please change the app icon to a new one without the circle mask. Thanks for your work.

Love the features so much that I paid for premium. Due to Google's frequent updates any dev would have trouble keeping up. I've turned off automatic Google updates and rolled back to the last working version of the Google app (I use 5.13.31.21arm) and it works like a charm. I run xposed framework on my rooted stock Nexus 6. Check the XDA thread for version info and the links to the older version of the Google app are listed. It is a little extra work, but well worth the benefits!

It would be appreciated if the developer could improve communication with the community following this module has created. No one expects you to keep up with every single Google App update and all but the most immature of XGELS users don't have a problem being patient and staying on an older version of Google App for a month or two until the next iteration of the module is released. It's the not knowing if development is still in progress and the silence on the part of Alexander that's a bit disconcerting.

Non of the features work for my phones. I tried with a nexus6 and galaxy s6 edge. I tried many times nothing works

Dude update the app or refund me my money because i want to use it with the latest version of the google app you stole my money and i need you to at least get everything working again. Everyone dont waste your money its not worth it on this crap:)

Keeps saying "not installed from Google Play", even though it is. Also, I think every time this app gets updated to work, Google updates its launcher the next day and breaks it. :(

Used to hide the search bar, not anymore. Have tried numerous times to get it off the screen to no avail. Will be uninstalling

Realized the app only has support up to Google Search 5.13.28. I hope the developer is able to support the latest versions ASAP. I was thinking to get the Premium version, which has nifty tweaks, but it seems that the dev has stopped updating, so it seems like it has no point.

I bought premium (waste of money), but most of features not working. I am rooted, xposed is installed and activated on my Nexus 6p. Tried rebooting but none of my changes applied to Google now launcher

Works great on Nexus 7 (2013) but not so great on Nexus 9. Gestures no longer work, can't customize the Google search bar and the option to open Xgels by long pressing the home screen and using the settings icon no longer works too. There might be some other features missing but these are the most obvious (and most useful) tweaks that I miss using. Hopefully the next update will address these problems.

I tried this app some time ago and everything was perfect but now I can't do nothing for example hide icons from the drawer

Thank you so much for your hard work on this application. I truly appreciate that you updated it because it is one of the main reasons I keep my phone rooted.

Reviews before shelling out the the feds for this what a bummer. Looks like I paid for bloatwear till the devs figure out what's wrong with Xposed framework number 87......

Using this with CM 12.1, and the only issue is the "rename app" feature not working with Trebuchet. Other than that, awesome job guys.

I use to always go with Nova Launcher. Recently I switched over to Xposed Gel Settings and Google Launcher when I got my Nexus 6P. These 2 apps are a great duo for the perfect launcher. Thanks.

None of the options and settings work on my moto X 2014. I am rooted and xposed.

Hi Dev this app isn't working for me. I can see no changes even if I made some modifications for the home screen. Iam rooted and closed enabled.

Can't change folder icon to single icon image after this update. :(

Not compatible with the latest version of GNL. Bought the premium though.

Very happy with the flexibility this gives me while using the stock launder. The dev is also very communicative and offers great support.

Good idea .. but you so late in updates and I can't wait any more please make the app purchase but be fast in updates .. your app is what I want it in Google launcher .. you are the best .. thank you ❤

I had installed the premium to be able to alter the Google Now which I a.m not being able to. Need some help please.

This hasn't worked in awhile. We paid for premium haven't even been able to use it. Crappy.

changing the app drawer's background color is not working on latest google app. i hope it can be fix. great app.

If you update your ROM or whatever then install xgels again and it doesn't recognize your premium status just clear app data and cache. It should fix it.

Brilliant app but really needs to release updates faster. Especially if you are asking for money...
