Xtream TV By Mediacom

It was frustrating at first because after down loading the app I couldn't watch live tv. After getting the regular tivo app and getting signed in, when I went back to the Xtreme app I could watch live tv. What it does is records what you are watching and tivo streams it to your phone. when yku are done watching it asks if you want to delete the recording.

Waste of time. There website makes it impossible to determine which premium channel apps you should have access to. Then there is the "TV EVERYWHERE" BS. Their article says to get THIS app and go to the LIVE TV CHANNELS section to see the apps, but it only shows some of them! If only Mediacom didn't have a monopoly in my area, maybe they'd be motivated to do better.

I pay for Mediacom HDTV service, with Tivo, at TWO addresses, TWO seperate accounts, and I can't even get logged into the app, much less use this TV "anywhere". Based on the reviews, and prior experiences, i'm not going to waste my time calling customer service. I don't know why I expected this to work.

EVERYONE, before you say that it doesn't work. MAKE A TIVO ACCOUNT AND REGISTER YOUR EQUIPMENT. After that everything worked correctly. I couldn't login and it just spun but after I made a tivo account and tried to login again it worked perfectly. Thumbs up this so more people can see it.

You need some serious work done on your app! It won't even let me register or sign in. I downloaded it on the advice of a customer care text. Please fix it I would love to use what it claims to offer. Last updated this app July 30,2019. What's with all of the commercials pushing this? Or when we text a tech they send a link to use this? It's garbage! Tried again 3-7-21 won't let me sign in or give me instructions on what I should do. Step it up guys. I really want this to work!

It is unbelievable that a company such as Mediacom has an app that's this bad. In addition to being very slow to load and respond to commands, it forces the user to record whatever show is chosen; there's no option to just stream it to the device.

I can't even give a star because I can't use the app. I logged on bit when I got to watch something it gives me options for prime video. No option to just stream like xfinity does. Unfortunately xfinity doesn't service my area 😒. Will most likely switch to at&t.

TiVo works sometimee......however, as far as what I'm used to from Comcast Xfinity.....this is a useless LiveTv app. Maybe I'm expecting too much from Mediacom. We were spoiled by Comcast for 2 years, and highly disappointed by Mediacom when we moved here. Just beware, it's a dinosaur app, and you may or may not be able to watch your TiVo program.

I can't even sign in, useless app. come on Mediacom if you're so up with the "times" then lets fix your glitches and answer answer your customers questions??? Fix the app, because as of right now this is really bad for business and honestly you your company really hasn't lived up to fulfilling your contract on a 2 year agreement when we are constantly calling to have our stuff fixed due to glitches in your equipment and upgrades and/or mistakes made. VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER...

I downloaded this app in hopes to use it. I successfully entered my ID and password but was unable to get the page to load. I waited for more than ten minutes watching the circle spin before I simply gave up and deleted the app.

worthless like Mediacom, you can't watch tv on the app. the app does not do anything. Complete trash, mediacom is trash!!! If I had the option to use COX I would. But I am stuck with this trash!!!

does not work on my samsung cell phone or tablet. when I first installed it, it worked. Now all I get is a small white screen with a plus minus and a reload box. does not work at all. worthless app.

Worthless app since you can only use it using your home Wi-Fi. Hello, it's not 1990! Being able to watch my Mediacom TV anywhere would be awesome. Kinda like att/directv does it. You cheap bastards suck!

this stopped working on my tablet. just keep getting the white reload screen. I hate this app. The remote on the app doesn't even have a volume button, I had DISH before and they have a much better app.

Arbitrary restrictions, forces you to confirm your credentials ridiculously frequently, and not available on Roku or Android TV or Chromecast to try and force you to buy a $200 TV addon.

This is the worse service I've ever had. Within a years time we have had to have a tech come out to fix our cable or internet 6 or more times. That's not to mention all the times that our service has gone down due to outages. If you have the chance to get a different carrier do so cuz this company is a joke. We just had our stuff fixed yesterday and before the guy left I asked him how long before we have to call them back out. It takes a week to 2 weeks to get someone out to fix it

A grossly useless app and useless services. It is either the internet services nor working today or the TV services disappearing the next day. Everytime, you have one illiterate sent to fix what he knew nothing about. This app just load a white screen. If you click reload, it bounces you out, asking you to sign in again. So sad about this useless app and services.

Over paid by accident wrong bill they did not give me a refund terrible. O well guess I paid my next 3.months of internet that sucks anyway keeps cutting out.

Doesnt work on my phone. I have an android. I can log in, but after that it's a white blank screen with a zoom-in and zoom-out button. When I press the button that says reload, im logged out.

this app is absolutely trash, it takes forever to open and load and that's actually when it open and loads 90% it just get stuck on a blank screen.

downloaded the app and went to sign in but it wouldn't even load. It's nice to have the idea that we can watch TV anywhere but not if the app won't load

This app takes the cake. Unbelievable a major company could publish an app this bad. New user? Good luck! Forgot your password? Good luck! Register a new user? Are you kidding me? I can't even get pass the login screen! OMG!

Why do I need to sign in every time I want to use it? Why does streaming in my home suck? Why can I stream my DVR when I'm out of home? All of these issues render this app useless.

This has to be the most useless TV app there is. I can't watch any of the channels that I want to watch. All of them are all labeled as TV only.

Horrible app it woll not let me stream live tv and if i want to watch something ot sends me to the app of thst channel. direct TV is so so much better as far as apps go.

Just like all the other mediacom services this app is junk. At one time they were a good cable co. but not any more.

PEOPLE HAVING PROBLEMS: Just download the regular TiVo app, after having made a TiVo account via their website. Works just fine that way.

This app doesn't seem to work very good. I still can't get a billing or the HGTV station on my TV!

This doesn't work even after reviewer stated to create Tivo account. Another reviewer said to just use Tivo app. It doesn't let u watch live tv so what the hell is it good for?

used to work really well on my cell phone now I can't even get the guide to pop up it keeps telling me that I have no shows recorded and no one passes created
