Media Players are definitely NOT all created equal. Even many *new* ones that show up in app store aren't worth the time downloading. Xtreme Media player is one the best I've ever used. Comprehensive feature gives users all the control to watch on your mobile device, cast, access networks and a lot more. The menus are super easy and intuitive l, so I'd say almost anyone can use immediately without any hassle

This review is in exchange for an ad free pro version. I am receiving something in exchange for this review. That disclaimer aside, the app works as you would hope. Plays video and audio files well. When using the playback speed function the sync gets a little wonky, but that's kind of to be expected. I don't like that it seems to be set on playing videos on landscape mode as a default, but that's not the worst thing ever. Play as audio works well enough, a little finicky.

Love this player! Fully loaded w/ functions. It can playback at 1/4 speed without distortion. It's crisp video and 200% volume level are perfect for examining footage very closely. All controls are easily understood and accessed. This beats any player I've tried for Android. Great sound for my Bluetooth audio system in my truck, and makes my bass subs thump even better than before. Playlists are created/accessed easily. I can't even think of any suggestions to add. You guys covered it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The experience simple in that it was Simple to download and simple to add all my songs. The design is excellent, elegant and looks great on my new phone. The usability is super easy other than that i can't find out how to make the product play albums one after the other. I am not sure what else I can add to this review other than reiterate what a pleasureable experience it was and is. The review on the other hand i would reduce to 400 letters. I like that Xtreme Player will not only play from your local storage, media stored on your Wi-Fi network, it also allows you to enter a URL and play audio files (MP3, etc.). Most players only scan your local storage for audio files. The other feature that I like is you can create a playlist from the URL entered.

Great app. No ads.fast.great audio. Auto rotation and screen ratio perfect. will give it 5 when a play by folder option is given in music side. Give a on screen volume seek just like the time seek (up and down) .the main phones operation buttons are always present during play- back it's great that they are transparent but they should also auto hide. The on screen options are fantastic but clutters the screen. Put them as a drop menu option falling from the top.

I downloaded the app due to its rating. So far, Xtreme Media Player is a good app. However, as part of an honest review, they should make the interface simpler or cleaner. There are so many buttons crowding the screen when the controls are showing. Still, I recommend it.

Downloaded this app because I was having problems with my go too app, I wanted an app to organize all my media files and this appears to work quite well. It supports many formats like mp4, avi, mkv, mp3 etc. It is well designed and some good settings for organizing media. The app has a sort option which I required to sort my media files. You also have the ability to create new folders. So far I am we'll happy 😃

No guessing required. All controls and options are very intuitive. An excellent DLNA/miniDLNA client for music, images and video. Later: The above worked excellent on the Samsung S7 Edge. Changing over to One Plus Nord phone, the app does not function at all; app keeps stopping. Please fix.

Very new app for me, but so far I'm impressed with the amount of features and user ability to interact/adjust them. Being very non tech savvy, along with having an almost non existent frustration tolerance ESP. regarding use of tech and "devices" I can't imagine anything will receive a 5 star review from me. I am encouraged though so far by the ease with which I've been able to navigate my way through using the app. and determining just what it is I'm doing. The app makes it easy to access files

Does the one thing that I am missing in VLC - namely offers jump to chapter. Moreover it does so cleanly and directly unlike the frozen video VLC offers until it catches up with a jump to time. Apart from supplying the key feature I had been searching for, it seems to do everything else to a satisfactory standard and with good video quality.

Just downloaded. It's the only player, so far, that when subtitle file is chosen it has one translation. I have been looking for a really long time for a video player with this ability that will cast to my chromecast. S9 far so good. Will update later once I have used it for awhile.

Every time I add a new song to my files, this software won't find it and when I do the directory search it crashes. I have to uninstall the program and reinstall it for it to find the new song. That erases all my play lists. I really liked it until this problem popped up.

I was looking for a video player for the movies on my phone and this works great! So many different options for user controls. I really like the the ability to adjust brightness, volume and seek with just swiping on the screen, very usefull.

Quick search and start up which I get a choice of a grid or not, the on screen controls and Chromecast enabled which for an app with so many good options is refreshing. Obviously the twits at Google had nothing to do with this because unlike theirs, this one actually works....and has usable settings...that set things the way I like. Good job

Been using Musicolet and PI Music mostly cause best overall functions, tried out a ton of players. You need a few others to get a soecial functions they rule in, like TubeMate for downloading etc. But hey... This one stands out since supports video as well. Great interface with easy sorting, night / dark mode, equaliser ( I find important cause using quality headphones a lot). Stop reinvent the wheel n waste time, we did it for you. Get it before pay only app!

This is my new favorite video player. It covers many movie files. Very productive controls and smooth styling. You guys covered everything. All the controls on screen to the lock function to hide the controls. Nothing more to say folks, try this one out.

This is the one, don't look any further. No intrusive ads this is the best by far. I've tried the rest this is the best. I don't miss Google Play Music at all. Quite frankly they did me a favor by leaving. There's no album art but I'm okay with that. You can play song after song without the annoying interruption.

This is one of the best apps ever. It does what it said it would do. This media player beats all the ones that we' paid for. The only thing that bugs me, It's not the Xteme Media Player. When you want to google anything about Xtreme Media Player, Google will start giving information and tips on Player Xtreme Media Player. Player Xtreme doesn't come close to Xtreme Player but it gets a little confusing. IT Would be great to have more information about XMP. A manual or instructions would help. A-

Initially this app was on par WITH VLC Media Player until I noticed that the default Android controls do not auto hide after starting a video. The Android default controls remain onscreen, overlapping the bottom portion of any video I play. Bummer because this issue makes the app pretty useless. Uninstalling for now.

Nice player it shows all my thumbnail vids and plays them fast and clear. App does not have any ads that get in the way. It has great performance. I love this app. It goes great on my Samsung s20 fe to play my mass amount of storage videos. I look forward to more updates.

All in all functions were okay. One thing that annoyed me is that when you paused the movie and then turn off the screen, after you login again you will get unresponsive dark screen. Edit: did developers abandoned the app? I reinstalles again bit still the same issue.

I will have to update this review once I become more acquainted with the functions, but so far this is exactly what I've been looking for: an easy to use, video and music player, with no ads. It's simple and it works. If I have something negative to say is that I would like to see the option to add art to your albums, but this is a very minor gripe. Download this. You won't be disappointed.

I am new to the smartphone game (been hiding under a rock) and this is the exact player I was hoping somebody would make. With the ease of use and swipe controls and overall look. I haven't tried many payers, but I can't see many being better than this one

Great quality, many cool features that make it easy to use and control what you're watching. Free! They also have followed through with their promise of upgrading me to pro without ads for leaving a review. Great app.

l was looking for an app without having to pre-assigned the directories this app met the bill and pleased with how it performs. onc slight hicup was that going back and trying to replay something it wouldn't reconnect to the network share otherwise great app.

My songs are never playing from the start, they're just playing from a random timing. If the song is in repeat, after the song is over, the video doesn't start from the start, if starts from the middle of nowhere
