In XtremeSoaring3D, the cockpit is highly simulated with ultra-realistic 3D cockpit, full function dash-board, realistic sound effects and all moving parts.
Flight characteristics are also highly accurate thanks to the Blade element theory. Wings are breaking down into several small parts and then determined the forces on each of these small elements. These forces are then integrated along the entire wing in order to obtain the forces and moments produced by the entire wing. This results in a highly dynamic, accurate flight model for each specified aircraft with wing-flex simulated. All together this sim put the human pilot into an highly immersive flying environment.
Thermal lift and ridge-lift are also highly simulated and could be visualized in flight.
Beside flying, the beauty of soaring sport is also the landscapes, the countrysides that we glide over. Therefore, we manage to integrate terrain data in this sim using high resolution satellite images and elevation. This resulted in a look real, beautiful landscapes with highly detail airport hangars and runways.

Very impressed with the programme for such a low cost full version. Does well to give an insight into thermalling. By second session, was achieving flights of an hour and getting in and out of cloud cover. Shows basic principles of soaring with active controls shown on external views. Recommended.
Try the FREE one first... I am not a 'qualified' glider/sailplane pilot/trainer. Having been in a trainer 20+ years ago at Lasham airfield, GB/UK this is pretty damn good. Only downside I have seen so far is the menu buttons at the bottom if the display are a tad small on a 7" inch tablet.
This is the best glider sim I have found for the phone yes there are better glider sims but for the PC and they cost a lot more then this sim, because this sim only cost the same price as a CUP OF COFFEE so this is a good deal, what would be a nice edition is to have wave lift hope to see that in a update

The soaring experience is immersive and steady smooth climbs in thermal lifts and realistic approaches are great!

Nice sailplane simulator but time for upgrades last was upgraded long time ago.

Do not go or purchase this game. There is a person on the site with the name, which he uses the symbol of 8 stars ******** spoiling it with racial remarks and obcenenities, constantly on it all the time. It's a definite No, No for children.

Looking forward to updates as the more you play it the more you want, it's that good. A very well put together gliding sim' .
The downside is the lack of flyers. The cross country game is way too slow for me. Flying in formation and distance traveled plus altitude gains within a time frame would be more fun for me.😀
As a glider pilot myself, I really enjoy this simulator. Great graphics, realistic controls and familiar sounds! Highly recommended.
It is a very realistic game. It has all it needs to. Except for maybe older planes, such as ASK-13 or MUE-13. Also, a tow pilot option would be great. Also to be the tow pilot.
Be really nice if you could put best race elapse times up and a running record of pilots best race times! Please! :)
Having used this for some time I have upped my rating to 5*. Racing online with other glider pilots is a good way to spend evenings! It has some scope for future developments but for now, it's just great.
Best glider simulator ever!! He awesome If you can have the option to be a tie pilot for gliding competitions and choose what tug you want be awesome If you can make that happen?!
The only thing that would make it better would be more gliders and tow planes (with an option to be the tow pilot)

I have the free version,which is the best glider sim I've seen so far, now I'm hoping this version gives more choices. Great apps, keep working in the same vain and you can't go wrong, in my opinion.
I absolutely love this game. For new players it might be hard and confusing but fear not. This is a really great game once you get off the ground and catch a lift to 17000 feet. I bought the full version which is well worth the 4 bucks. Has brought me hours and hours of relaxing and interesting gameplay. Once you get in the lifts and learn how to gain altitude super fast youll have quite the grin on your face :) wish there were more maps and sailplanes
