XY Find It

XY4 keeps triggering at inopportune times. it is great it is so loud, not so great in a meeting every 90 seconds. I no longer keep it on my keychain which was the primary purpose for the purchase! Yes, it really works but all the false triggers are annoying. I've triggered it twice testing, it has triggered too many times to count just losing contact w/ phone, re-establishing contact, then losing contact again. I hope the update fixes the false alerts! - XY Responded to review quickly......

The help desk has finally accepted that either this kit or the app doesn't work. And if it did it will work only within Bluetooth range. The ad that I clicked through on Facebook shows it being attached to a car and a bike. That's stretching the truth rather too much. And 'reaching out (and getting any coherent response)' to the the XY Support operation is one of life's greater challenges.

Bought one of these based on the ad on Facebook- $55 dollars with shipping as the GPS feature sounded fantastic. Set it up only for it to tell me that it wasn't a GPS version - so this was blue tooth only for keys, wallets etc! If I had wanted something to find my keys I could have bought one on eBay for a tenth of the price! What a rip off! I only wish it were possible to rate it zero stars

Aweful. The xy4+'s I bought ( in a multi pack) did not work. None of them worked. The app constantly loses connection with the xy4+, and cannot actually tell how far it is from the phone. Also, while I could make my phone ring from the device, I could NEVER get the device to ring from my phone. I tried different devices, ( wasted money on the multi pack) and none worked. Icing on the cake? the devices will randomly beep all the time, even when they're not connected to a phone. Just get a tile

Don't buy an XY it is 100% a scam. The feature to ring your XY when you lose it doesn't work. Instead they offer to notify you when somone else running the app walks by. The GPS tracker is awful and is never accurate. And on top of all that it has annoying beebs that go off every 10 minutes when I'm not trying to find it even whem i try to switch the settings. When i try to update the XY the app crashes. Dont buy rhis $40 piece of trash.

It did not find my XY4 device even when parked directly near the to it. Followed all the troubleshooting steps they recommended at least a half dozen times. It found it only once or twice out of dozens of tries. Just says "searching" then eventually crashes.

I'm one of those Baby Boomers that absolutely hates technology. Just the thought of setting up anything electronic gives me the willies (a Baby Boomer term). However, since Im always losing my keys, I thought I'd give it a try. To say that this unit was extremely easy to set up and use is a huge misunderstatement. It took me 5 minutes to set up. I absolutely love it! They should consider rebranding this item under the banner of "It's so easy to program that even a Baby Boomer can do it!" LOL

Glad it was free. My rating/comment was deleted for some reason. When I emailed support like they said to do, they sent me to a FAQ page and it automatically closed my dispute. I'm still confused as to whether I can use this thing as a tracker if im simultaneously using it in the COIN app it told me to download when I got the thing. Poor product explanation, poor product support, 9/10 would NOT recommend.

Great product. I recieved the device quickly and was not misinformed or disappointed! Running around the house searching for my phone/keys when late is a thing of the past! If you misplace your items (which lets face it, we all do from time to time) I highly reccomend this product. It will ring your phone even when your phone is on silent! 5* rating I will be recommending this product to everyone!

Once I had the item linked and I went to find it it wouldn't wouldn't sound. It sounded the very 1st time with the test but after that it wouldn't make the noise so I couldn't find it. I uninstalled and reinstalled, relinked numerous times, printed out the operating manual, followed it step-by-step, contact to the company, and nothing worked!

I have the xy 4 and it won't find my phone when it's in sleep mode. What's the point if you can only find it when it's on and you are holding the lost item? Also I've heard there can be security risks keeping your bluetooth on all the time.

Worked good after the update. The phone app helps find the finder XY quickly. Plus the finder will help you find your phone if you lose your phone. I will be getting more for myself and gifts for others. Well worth the money!! Would be a great gift!!! I like the ring tone sound my phone makes when the finder is found. Awesome product !!!

piece of garbage. all of mine went into the trash. when it needs to be updated it starts beeping. no notification on the phone just a persistent beep. once you figure out whats making the beep, the install consistently fails. eventually you pull the battery so you can sleep.

Probably the worst electronic device I've ever purchased. I have it attached to my keys and it won't even sound when it is only 5 feet away. What's the point in that? Yet if I press the button on the device, it will locate my phone. Works one way but not the other. Pointless.. don't purchased the xy4++, you will waste your money sadly.

Bought the GPS with lifetime service. It only works in Bluetooth mode. Called customer service and admitted an known issue. Was told to send a new one that works once they fix the issue. After 1+ yr wait, didnt hear from them. They fired the whole customer service team & need to email them for support. Emailed 6 months & they never reply. They now focus on XYO token & geo mining technology. Paid a premium for trash so they use my $ on other things. Very bad company!

It's like Tile which you can buy at stores like Best Buy. If someone steals your item or you lose it, for example, on vacation this is basically useless unless you're right near it within a very limited range.

Displays "Searching" on phone, when less than 5 feet away from XY+4. If I press XY+4 button (to wake device) on tag then app shows "Very Near". Defeating the entire point. Great concept, poor implementation. Atleast on Android.

Very poor range not really useful I have to be within probably 10 meters of the tracker for the app to pick it up and even when I'm holding it the app sometimes says it's far away. Not really a product fit for purpose.

at first everything is strange, confusing. Going back to the set up for a number of times and going over it again and then again, 1step at a time, and back again I finally did get the sentinels to find my things. I'm not quite sure if that means everything thing is good to go or not. i have to tend to the bridge yet.
