The camera itself is good. The app must have been made, in the dark, by invisible fish!!! The app never opens. I've have extremely cheap cameras with better software. I don't think the developers even test anything they do. So, without a working app, the camera is useless. It won't connect well to wifi. I gotta amazing internet. I know this, because of the devices I've used with it. The user manual is small with not much in it. There's no cables that would allow me to just connect the camera to my phone. Having software install this way, plus a wired connection, would make more sense. This app doesn't even deserve 1 star.

Good and fast app, you get notices that something moved in front of the camera almost instant, no more than 2min delay. On the negative side, not sure how long will still be free to use the camera, 1 or 3 years, after that, if you do not want to pay a monthly subscription the camera will be useless. Also, I will still receive notices when something moved in front of the camera, even when I was home.

Not a good app, each time I open it, it crashes. Delete, reload, try again reached camera to add and it froze. Try again, this time it works, so fickle, come on guys it's been a year since you update this, and I'm sure you received enough feedback to tell you its unstable. When wiil issue a new update to fix the instability? I've decided to migrate on to a new vendor, clearly nothing is going to improve on this app, and from a security perspective instability means it can't be compromised.

Have had Y-cam Evo cameras running since 2016. The app is very slow, especially on Wifi, and support though the company ERA, which now owns the cameras is poor. I initially bought three cameras. One never worked properly and eventually stopped working altogether. Contact to their support function on this issue and other issues over the years has been slow and ineffectual. Currently I have a support request in over a security issue, identified by network security software, resulting in no response whatsoever. I have been a customer for 4 years and have only contacted the company 3 times. I do not recommend the app, or the system in general.

Android-Huawei-HumaxEYE user, I was able to use this app a few months back. Since an update (I believe) I am no longer able to use the camera. I've tried resetting, reinstalling over 20+ times now. Last wall is that it won't let me assign a time zone and leaves me in an endless loop. Please respond if able, this is quite expensive and I really need this to work.

terrible app, lags and that's with connection to the hub, takes ages to upload the footage once its detected something & when you try to view it, crashes or buffers. i wish I could send the camera and its useless app back customer services are a waste of time, they just talk you through the usual stuff, like disconnecting & restarting the app, done all the troubleshooting.. still rubbish..wouldn't recommend

Works as described and expected, what more can you want. Easy to use and good picture quality. One suggestion is the ability to delete all files from a camera rather than having to click on each one, delete, then move to the next and repeat, which is time consuming.

Used to be able to access the cameras on the web which was quite useful. Thats now been disabled and were left with this app. In all the time ive used it, its never worked as intended, i cant get live shots anymore just image stills of whatever the camera decides to show as a thumbnail. If you try to watch thr cameras, the app just crashes.

slow to connect. spools forever. sometimes it never connect in spite my wifi connection being well above their recommendation. also customer service is very unresponsive. takes days to get answers to any question. all that plus the fee for video storage makes the whole thing a poor choice.

This is the third time I have received the message "Can't play this video" and the app is then unusable. I have to remove the app and reinstall in order to get it to work. It is now becoming almost a regular necessity to 'force stop' and restart the app in order to get it to work. If only there was an alternative app for my Humax camera.

works with a camera I purchased, but found I couldn't connect to the camera and the camera never recorded anything for the week we went away. luckily it wasn't needed, but camera only locked up after changing a setting through the app. Reset the camera and tried again and it locked up again. so there must be a problem between the app & camera. I have never got camera working again.

When my ycam 'free for life' (haha) cloud storage was withdrawn recently, I purchased 1 year's subscription at £32. The cloud storage never recommenced, so I contacted support. They said to update the camera firmware. This app keeps failing when I try to do that. Support said to do a hard reset on the camera which I did. Still no joy. Now support are ignoring my emails. My advice is good visibility from the camera but forget cloud storage. Kevin Reid.

Was very good to use. But when there were any movement alerts and you go to view activities it won't be on there for a while. And on the box it states free cloud service but you only get 1 years. Now I got a device I have to pay monthly for or it sits redundant. A lot of money wasted and trust lost in the company. I will have to got buy the Arlo cameras

Hopelessly unstable. Great to see some updates in the last year, but no real change to its stability. I look forward to the next set of improvements. Update: It just seems to get worse and worse, I can only view the camera 1 in 5 attempts.

Has deteriorated massively over the last six months. App freezes regularly and requires a forced stop to work. In addition it occasionally crashes. Movement notifications now hit and miss. Emails sent to help desk have been ignored.

Having used this app for years and found it improved recently, I am no longer able to use/log-in following update Friday 5th June. Hopefully bug fix version will be out shortly. Luckily iPad and iPhone version still works so able to use our products. Following new update (Saturday) the app works again.

The cam and the app don't work anymore since the company started forcing us into a subscription to pay for storage. Otherwise there are no images sent anymore, recorded or still. I have bought a cheap £40 Chinese one that works better and has no subscription. Companies like this spin it big but are doomed to fail

Love the camera, only problem I have is that this app is terrible. On the rare occasion that it actually works it's fine but 99% of the it won't actually open thus rendering the camera itself useless. This app needs a major overhaul.

I have a Humax camera and this is the app I'm supposed to use with it, but it renders the camera completely useless. It refuses to connect - even when I am in the house, on the same WiFi network. Its even worse if I'm out. So if I was being burgled they could hire a van and remove all my belongings while I'm stood staring at a blank screen. Disappointing.
