Yacht Racing Game

Gave it three stars because it has great potential. Right now it needs work on steering issues, and inconsistent speed issues. I'm deleting it from my phone for now because its a bit frustrating to lose for the wrong reasons, but will check in often to see if kinks are ironed out. This game is so close to being brilliant. I'm very excited to see the next update!

I love this app. Very simple, but instructive and fun. As a beginner, I appreciate being able to get a bird's-eye view of things. For others who have trouble with it, try it in landscape orientation rather than portrait. For the developer, please try to add a short pre-start sequence feature. Or if there's a way to have 2 human players via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, plus an AI player or two, that would be epic.

Controls need changing, tap to start often results in me tacking immediately at the start line. Hold to change direction sometimes results in unexpected changes in direction resulting in race losses. Disqualification rules seem a little odd too, like if I'm in front and another boat crashes into the side of me, I get disqualified? What's up with that?

Really fun game to practice tactics, but the start needs to be improved. As others have pointed out, over 50% of the time when I tap to start, I immediately tack and usually into another boat for a DSQ. After that happens, I get frustrated and close the app.

It's a simple game, but a nice little game, simple to use and a good quick distraction. For a free game, it's pretty good. I would've liked to have an option of a range of difficulty, or even an option to buy a pro version.

Good little sailing game. Would like to see options for a few more boats in fleet and so perhaps with longer legs/courses too as would fit together in upgrade.

Great game. Its a shame that the downwind and reaching controls don't work very well. I've lost countless races this way.

This is simple but fantastic for coaching. Set wind strength to max. Wod direction to medium. One minor prob. There seems to be a consistent tendency for wind to swing right. Should be 50/50.

This game will not let you win even when you are clearly ahead!! It always says the other red or green boat beat you even when they are behind you.

Lots of fun verry realistic. Easy to play. I wish they had a better control for steering the boat. And maybe add in a spinker sail for sailing down wind.

Great, simple idea. Can't steer boats well on Android Samsung 10+. Could've been fun. Deleted.

Needs to put correct sailing rules in place. Controls need improving to allow boat manovouers

I love it... That's the sport I like and do... It's call regatta in mauritius.. Need more.. More boat but I just love it...

I almost never give 5 stars, but this game is phenomenal! Ideas that might add to the fun: gates, regattas where u race the same races as other people and c who has the best record, long distance races where strategy would play a bigger role, more accurate rules, more reliable steering. Proper (1 min.) start sequence. THANKS DEVELOPERS!
