YACO Yet Another Clock Overlay
So I created this simple app. I hope you like it.
The position of the display is configurable as well as colors and size.
It is Android 6 permission restrictions aware, so when you get an Android error "Screen Overlay Detected", or if you are not able to grant a permission by touching the button in the dialog where you shall grant it, it is easy to temporarily disable YACO for 5 minutes using its notification entry's "pause" button. It will automatically re-appear after that time. Simple and effective.
I'd like to have feedback (can be done in the app).

Drawing over the screen problem. Cant tap install or update apps on Google Play store.
Would be great if you could also add battery current in watts and mAh.

You can toggle the service on/off in Tasker with the 'Send Intent' action: (com.chk.permanentclock.ENABLE & com.chk.permanentclock.DISABLE; both Default category). I use Cool Tool in portrait mode and switch to YACO in landscape mode. 9/11 I'm on Android 11 and this doesn't work anymore, app could use an update

Love the app and it's content display. Have been looking for something like this for my android headunit in my car as when I'm displaying a full screen map and not navigating there is no clock on display. This has now changed that. Well done developer for such a great easy to use app with so many adjustable functions. You truly have saved me lots of agro from the wife nagging me because she can't see the time.
YACO is a perfect tiny app with an amazing WOW factor! YACO customization options are extensive.YACO can display not only time information, but also information regarding connection, wifi, battery, GPS, ..., in a compact, yet easily viewed format. My only request is that all information be displayed on a single line, where possible. If data exceeds line width, wrap remaining data. However, wrap each single data item, in its entirety. The icon or data indicator would be considered as integral to the data item. Enhancement please:-) I happily recommend YACO.
I was looking for a clock I could see on top of full screen apps and found this. It works wonderfully and I've had no major problems with it. Dev is extremely responsive for bug fixes and feature suggestions. I recommend this app to everyone who spends a lot of time using full screen apps that hide the notification bar. It is highly useful to be able to have the time and battery status visible no matter what app you are using.
Really great app I just want an option to fine-tune the height as it's a bit to the top also a font changing feature would be nice :)

Great for games. While. Playing games like clash of clans and such like that are fullscreen, it is easy for time to get away from. You this app doesn't obstruct or hinder gameplay. Very useful
Now I can watch YouTube while exercising and be mindful of the time and battery level, without having to interrupt my exercise to touch the screen. Thank you!
