(update 5/18) Unable to link specifically my "stash" broker account however, other successfully displayed. When trying to set reminders for quarterly earnings tapping "ok" does nothing and the time and date that is selected remains, not allowing you to set/acknowledge it. Very frustrating running into several bugs. Despite this I do love the platform to view my holdings.

Takes too long for stocks' values to display, more than 30 seconds, and I have to keep hitting the refresh button. In terms of trading stocks and viewing info that kinda makes the app useless. Eventhough I have been using it for years, it used to be much faster several years ago. I mainly use it for research.

Great app in general. But I was not impressed about receiving an unsolicited notification about COVID travel restrictions this morning. The article had nothing to do with finance and should not have been considered breaking news in a finance app. Not to mention that there doesn't seem to be a way to disable "breaking news" notifications aside from disabling all notifications.

What happened to the percentage change as I click through 5 days, months, years? Used to be perfect. Now it's stuck on day percent no matter what. I realize now your "daily update" on the top of news section is a video by definition. But because it occupies almost half of the screen, we will tab by mistake. And the video just won't stop. Nobody wants to watch TV on the phone, at least not sane people. Could you make sure at least it does NOT play automatically, when I have already chosen never?

Great app, been using it for quite a while without issues, however right now for me, the security return % does not update in the chart as I change timelines (5d, 1yr, etc). It seems to be stuck on the 1d return, I cleared my cache memory but this didn't fix things.

I switched to a new Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra phone and the moment I download this app(which was my go-to option for Stock Market news until now), it straightaway launches the home screen. There is no start-up screen which typically should be there when the app is newly installed. Also, the news section doesn't get updated and I cannot find stocks using the search bar as it throws some weird error. The app crashes randomly as times. These bugs seem to be phone-specifc. Please fix the bugs ASAP.

Ads, more ads, and some more advertising, and videos (of mainly ads) which play automatically and cannot be stopped despite there being a pause button. Might as well call it "Yahoo Ads". Why this insistence on running videos automatically? Is yahoo getting a percentage from metered internet providers?

The android widgets are horrible, they constantly lose connect with the list and have to be readded. They also changed the widget data from percentage to point values with no option to change it back. Terrible app!

In my opinion, this app is outstanding. I have an Android phone (Samsung 9+) and have never had any issues with the operation and utility of it. Of course, I always update the app whenever I am notified of a newer version. Definitely pleased with Yahoo Finance's website as well.

I could have given this app 5 stars except for the recent problem I've been having changing the expiration date on the options chain. I can get to the date I want, but not directly. Overall, this is my favorite app for watching options prices without having to go to my trading site

Ok I see. But how about putting the Max time frame as an option that shows when screen is rotated. Since YTD is more useful and will be seen more often than Max time frame. And rotating phone everytime to see YTD is not very user-friendly

I have made the changes recommended, and Yahoo Finance still will not work on my android cell. It works fine on my apple devices, and on my HP computer. I get the error message: You're not following anything. ...and my personnel favorite... OOPS! Something went wrong. Please try again. Still not working... it has now been months, and Yahoo Finance will not work on my Android device. VERY frustrating...your app was fantastic, but has devolved into a waste of resources.

App was 5 stars before last update. Now it is barely useable. Bad data layout, lots of blank space, apparently to incorporate stupid bar at top showing high-low - previous table with more better organized info without blank space was much better easier to read. Hard to visually follow caption on far left to data on far right in new update. April '22 GOT EVEN SLOWER - HAVE TO WAIT SEVERAL MINUTES FOR A QUOTE ON IBM. CAN'T KEEP UP WITH BUSY MARKET LAST WEEK. KEPT OLD APP ON PHONE, LOADS INSTANTLY.

Ridiculously slow app. App takes forever to load anything. Edit: app loads instantly after clearing data & cache like the devs recommended. I prefer it over the browser version of yahoo finance since every row in your watchlist has a graph of the stock movement

Great when it works. I was even considering subscribing to the laid version, but the app has to be told to update my brokerage accounts manually and the option is only available some of the time so if I make a few trades they won't show up on Yahoo until hours later which makes day trading very difficult with the app. The widgets are a really nice way to view all the stock I want to see right on my home screen, but they will randomly stop working until you remove the widget and replace it.

2 issues majorly - the graphs do not refresh. They continue to show the graph of previous day along with today - on making changes to any scrip in between, and then saving, the list automatically scrolls to the first scrip.

Excellent for keeping a check on portfolios of shares. Can create more than one list. Editing lists tends to be a bit opaque until you have experimented a bit.

Update: Problem has been fixed. App now works as it should! Simply invaluable if you're an investor! Love this app but for some reason it no longer shows me stock gains/losses for the various time frames, e.g. 1yr 3yr, etc. Just puzzling.

Why has this app gotten so slow?!! It takes about 30 seconds to load any stock or etf data. I have tried other apps and they are all much much faster. I did try to clear cache and data and still the same problem. I have tried reseting internet but the problem has just been with this app as I don't experience the same thing with Fidelity, Robinhood, Market Watch, or Seeking Alpha.

Overall a good and useful app. However,, a recent change in the push notification content causes the headline, which is the important bit, to be cut, just to make room for a space-wasting irrelevant image. I don't click those cut notifications just to load the app and read the full headline, and I don't click them to actually read the articles out if interest, because I don't have the full headline to know what it's about. So that's a double miss for the UI team.

Used to be great. Now too focused on forcing ads for paid version down everyone's throats. They are throwing ads on the top, bottom, middle, and everywhere in between for both themselves and others, and it has gotten out of hand. They even started removing or disabling basic features such as charts or even notifications from old versions so that you have to update to the latest "more ads" version. How about a no ads version that isn't 30 bucks a month you greedy suits?

The technical indicators are great but I won't give this 5 starts until a custom date range options is added for viewing charts. The custom date range is available on the website, but not this app for some reason. Kind of frustrating having to scroll left or right a tonne to find the right day I want to look at.

Update 20/4/2022: Still NOT recommended. App still takes forever to load current prices of stocks, if you add/change stocks in your portfolio in the app, it changes the order of the tickets. On the website, they don't even show you properly sorted stocks based on the the daily % change...how difficult is that? Resolution: after many years of using it, i am finally giving up and looking for a replacement

Really great app, easy to use and has a lot of information. The only downside is that sometimes has a lag or is slow (and exceptionally crashes)

Incorrect live pricing and earning results date. As an example, NIO earnings report appears every single day and gets carried over to the following day. Sometimes I have also found outdated price information which isn't good for investors. This tool is not trustworthy.

Fast and reliable even with a weak signal. Easy to read graphics and great news updates. I highly recommend for droids. 2022 Update: I am still using this app and it is still working great.
