I read it daily. The only bad thing is it is very left-leaning. You don't get an unbiased view. Its mostly a Democrats view of the news, and becoming even more biased daily!! I'm neither right or left but somewhere in the middle, but I can definitely notice when the news is pushing their ideas one way or the other. so keep that in mind while reading.

Yahoo does everything I want in my news app: Catchy headlines, concise summaries, easy scrolling, reliable sources, frequent updating. I only have to open the article every once in a while, about like my newspaper reading goes (and yes, I still subscribe). I check it three to five times a day at least.

This app keeps up to date on breaking news better than "the others." The stories are well written and reasonably complete though published quite fast after the event. Best thing is I can share an article without having to worry about recipient having access.

I enjoy Yahoo news because it gives me a summary of what I'm about to read, or not read. The choice is mine! If I decide to delve into an article they are clear, concise, and without a lot of spin. I recommend it for those of us who are on the go and for those who want to dig deeper. Happy Reading!!!

Good coverage of current events on many news worthy stories. A lot of details in fewer words. Don't feel it leaning too far in either direction politically so it's a pleasure to read. Thank you!

UPDATE 5/14/22: Reducing rating to 2 stars and uninstalling. App has great UI and low use of resources. However, even though app allows subscription to an array of publications on both ends of the spectrum, the push alerts and "breaking news" are all written with a very "liberal" slant. The recent coverage on Roe v Wade and the supreme court has all been very one sided. I want an aggregator app to provide balanced coverage, not demonstrate bias in their push alerts and breaking news.

I'm confused about the mid➡️low rating. Everything about this app, at least what I expect from a news source, works smoothly. I like that it offers a short piece about a subject or occurrence & if I want the full story, it's available with one quick click. Click again & your back to original page, ready to move on. They provide sources I've found credible over the years (not a Fox fan) & the 360 reporting is great! Keep up the good job!

I'm barely downloading this news app now, and I'm hoping that its just as good as the E-mailing app, I've been using the yahoo mail app for many years now & it's never gave me any issues at all & it's always easy to login & it's one of the most secure emails I've has, my Outlook email is pretty good too, but it's nothing like Yahoo. I'll update my review in a few weeks or a month to give a much better review on it.

everything that it sends me notifications for is so negative. I have not seen a positive news story in the entirety of the time I've had this app. I'm finally deleting it today.

I like the app but you need to get rid of the next story banner @ the bottom of the page on the article you are reading. It's annoying, bouncing up & down. How is that helpful ?

When a article has more than 1 photo for a article, you can only see the first photo-this has happened within the last 2-3 weeks.

A little slow and I have to wait or close at least twice before I can get in. I like the stories from around the world and at home.

I've always liked yahoo. Their news is up to date. Listings have easy to read descriptions of all their ads.

Way to much advertising and interpretation to be of any value. Not worth the effort to doneload

It would be nice if this app would not pop back to the top of the newsfeed after I finish reading a story. I would like to look at the whole news feed without interruption. If I choose to go back to the top that should be my choice.

Yahoo News is a great source of information for news. The app itself is really good with good features. It would be nice to be able to have wallpapers like the Yahoo Email app has. Please consider. Continue updating & improving the app...

I have an old phone so it's no surprise that the app keeps crashing.

Deleting this app, the notifications always take me to a page with an error.

Can not get out once you click on. I want to check my position not review endless chatter!

Short and to the point easy reading

Some of the ads lockup my phone. Every time I read an article, the list jumps back to the top. If these problems aren't fixed soon I will be deleting app for good.

News feed works fine. You can customize it to show areas of interest. It has the frustrating habit of sending a push notification with a really interesting headline, but when you open the alert, that news story is not shown. Not even if you scroll all the way down. Half the time it won't even bring up the missing story if you search for the exact title from the push notification. That gets old fast. Also, too many ads mixed in with real news. At least they are now marked as ads.

This is a pretty great app. The knock I have is the main board sometimes contains clickbait/sensationistic article thumbnails. But the other content is presented fine, and is usually pretty relevant to the type of news I want to see. There are some ads, but they aren't too distracting/disruptive. Keep up the good work and please keep this app from becoming bogged down with stuff I dont want to see. Great Job!

Yahoo News sponsors a variety of news outlets and provides a wide range of viewpoints. I really like that.

Not perfect but pretty good. It's not the most versatile app, but it works fine. I like that there are few "opinion" articles and most of the articles come from credible news organizations. My only complaint is that the app resets after I leave an article and I have to start over from the top and try to find my place... Every time! Which means eventually I give up and go to a different app.

I have every feed selected but I still don't see the same, more interesting content the Yahoo homepage shows, which I can no longer use, at least on my tablet, because after a few seconds an ad for the app comes up with no way to get rid of it. At this point, only using it because I have to. (Update) the app ad no longer stops me from using the webpage. The content problem remains.

I like using this app for news esp since it compiles news from different reliable sources. I probably spend more time in this app then I should. But I find that it works very well.

Good broad spectrum of current news topics. Very well written. Non biased coverage reporting multiple sources. Frequent updates keep it current. Better than most.

There are plenty of news sources within this app and it is updated. Good. It is also a clean design. The bad part is notifications and navigation are poorly designed. When I get a notification about a vote or reply on my comment, I clicking on the notification does not bring me to my comment. I also can't navigate to my profile's reactions/activity section without clicking and searching around several times in order to find it. Annoying. Also to Trump-heads: Shut up. The news is not "biased".
