Used to be a fantastic app, and it's become so glitchy it's unusable. It's arbitrarily unable to open about half the things you click on, and constantly has to be reset to make it work. I can't remember the last time I used it without it freezing. The developer is responding with a link to a troubleshooting page instructing you to close the app and delete the cache, but this problem occurs so often that you have to take this step multiple times every time you use the app.

Worked great for years. Past few months it's endlessly throwing " failed to load stats pull to refresh " and " network unavailable " despite a perfect connection. Is sometimes hours behind the live game. Also sometimes doesn't even show ongoing games of teams I have set as a " favorite " unless the app is closed and re-launched.

When trying to pull up stats for personal players and different things I click on it is trying to reload the page or kicking me out. I use an Android phone. I like the app usually but here and there problems maybe an update is a good idea.

I like the Boxscore layout but the news sections aren't very good. Also the fact that I have videos to never play and everytime I click on an article every video immediately autoplays is infuriating. Not really worth the 6.3?? Gigs it takes up.

Overall, this really is the best sports app! I pay for ESPN + and this app is still better. I find that I don't always receive my game notifications when using ESPN, but that's never an issue with Yahoo Sports. The only addition I would like to see added to this app is the total attendance of each game. Otherwise, fantastic sports app!

Blocking new attempts / requirements regarding privacy every time a page loads in this app is more annoying than I'm willing to contend with so am looking for something that covers all sports better. Not just the 'ball' sports.

App used to be good, but many glitches have been popping up recently including it not being able to pull stats and having to refresh it. The biggest gripe is that even if you turn off video autoplay, it still does. Frustrating when I'm trying to read an article in a quiet place and it tried to force me to watch a video on full blast.

Shows sports I don't want. Basically, you can select the sports you want to follow. But wait... they have a "feature" section at the top that overrides your personal preferences. A$^ h*&# design.

The best app to check on any sports games!! Very easy n very knowledgeable on all kinds of sports happening around the world 🌎 today!!!! It's very exciting to know the updates on all kinds of sports!!! Never miss an update at all.

The information is reliable and the layout allows me to scroll-and-select easily without overwhelming me with choices. Definitely one of the better sports sites I have used in quite a while.

Solid, responsive app, missing some features, recent extremely high disk usage. 2.47GB in cache for some reason. Haven't streamed any games in months. This should never be more than a few hundred MB.

I like the app, it's a nice interface. However, one thing really really annoys me: When you select a Premier league game you get the goalscorers (and goal times) listed under the score/result but you don't get this detail in the lower league games. After the result itself, this is probably the most important information to report!

Having "failed to load content. Please try again" or "network server unavailable" increasingly pop up lately. Works after the app is force closed or reloaded. But is an annoying error that is popping up more and more.

I like it. Only thing is I can't stretch the screen out. My settings says some apps can't be stretched. Hmm. 1 other thing, am having a hard time returning to main menu from videos page. No back arrow,?? Swiping sideways, up and down. Screen stays stuck in video land. Have to Uninstall and then reinstall app just to restore home page. Now, thanks to this happening all the time, can't enjoy videos, because of the hassle it creates.

I've had nothing but a great experience with the Yahoo sports app. I got the app because I did not have my TV at the time when I was moving. However I still continue to watch games on my phone with the app, even after I finished my move. One thing I would like to have considered is to have a "POP-UP" GAME in MLB, NBA, PREMIERE LEAGUE, etc., to be viewed, from time-to-time. Just a suggestion. I think it would be a great marketing strategy to persuade the consumer. Extremely pleased in Tampa

I love how the app, breaks down the minutes as u read, ex: 1 min read, 2 min read, etc. The topic columns are organized so u can pick which one u want 2 read. Love the App for now.

I like the app for free NFL games and for MLB broadcasts. It's a shame there aren't any choices of what to watch but at least you're not shelling out $69 $ 99 or more to watch a few games you like. The app performance is good even with mobile internet on your phone. Even with a weak mobile signal it only occasionally buffers. There's a bunch of other sports and activities for you participate in but I can't really speak to those features I don't bother with. Nice design good quality.

It's ok. You can watch the game, but plan ahead for crashing and reinstalling after any updates to your device. With Google's most recent update, the app doesn't even open. I've reinstalled twice already. It just crashes when you open it. Not sure what Google could change to make something so unstable.

Great app to use really prefer it I can watch NFL games highlights and so much more I can get the scores for all my favorite teams such as the Indianapolis Colts & St. Louis Cardinals and get news for all NFL teams

I love the app. live scores get updated regularly. I can always get the hi-lights relatively quick and easy

love the app but the servers are SLLOOOOOWW. a lot of the time it takes forever to load content (wifi or cellular). if it would be faster loading content it would be a great app... for now, it's 3 stars

This is an excellent sports app! Covers everything as far as i can tell. Good layout. Easy to use. Why have you taken away the display of the score and time status of current games from the Scores page. It was much better when I didn't have to open an individual sport to see the current scores

Wish I could give this app a better review. Overall the app is fine but I'm so tired of all the videos and ads autoplaying even though I have the option set to disabled.

I am trying to watch a football game and the video is catching, not smooth at all. Its very frustrating, I think listening to the play by play action on the radio would be better than watching the skipping video. The app is good for checking the score and where to see the game live. But watching it is not fun at all.

Yahoo Sports used to be a really good sports app & I used to love this app but the past few years, idk wht has happened. When the app was goin through a re-design, i was part of that beta process, things were promised that haven't made it to the app. I'm just so disappointed in where this app has gone. O well, nothing we can do about it but just hope it get's better I guess...

I love this app! It is amazing to be able to watch my favorite nfl game no matter where I am! I've seen other reviews stating they have problems with the app, but I never have. I would love to be able to watch NBA on here as well, but I assume that's due to the NBA itself not wanting that. I can get scores, news stories, and highlight videos anytime I want.

Love the app, but in landscape mode on tablets, the stats and standing pages, the letters get all smooshed together. If this gets fixed it's 5 stars

Always thorough and up-to-date. Easy to follow favorite teams and particular sports instead of having a mixture of all sports. Also enjoy that can get schedules, standings and statistics and other team information with a quick click. Also very good video summary of prior day's key developments.
