I like the app. However, the most recent posts do not pop up first in the feed. I also found that the app causes my keyboard to go between lower and capital cases when I'm trying to type responses or post a topic. I do like how it allows me to connect to my university and all they offer. *UPDATE* I am still having the issue with the keyboard glitch even after the update. Hopefully, there will be a fix in the coming days. I still enjoy the app, it helps me stay connected.
Not getting notifications from my phone when members of my network chat. Honestly annoying. And I even tried enabling notifications via the phone and the apps settings. Please fix.
Dreadful. Can't even log in using my work email address (exchange). I know this works as I have used it on another device. No excuse for such a poorly developed app that can't even get past the first hurdle. What a shambles.
Like the app is useful, but I no longer get notifications though even though the settings on the app hasn't changed and I can't change my profile picture anymore. The keyboard is very glitchy and makes it a lot harder to type
Keep getting error message "Sorry, we couldn't connect to Yammer" when using my phones Data. Works fine on WI-FI.
Unfortunately, the mobile app is extremely unreliable for me. I usually access this through my firm's intranet instead.
best personal social networking that use for many things from my enterprise work, to improv groups, to home cooking journal. life is much easier now.😁
No working notifications despite settings allowing them. I've had to use this app over a year now and notifications just refuse to work. And I cannot mute all-company which is just terrible.
definitely on the right way. Nowadays an app like yammer that doesn't have the option of making calls (at least to management) defeats the objective
App locks up and crashes when trying to open. It's basically unusable.
Never works when I try to upload a picture to one of the feeds. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing. Nothing I've tried fixes the problem. I'm also using a galaxy s21, which is the most current phone from Samsung.
Notification and inbox Can't clear the inbox of unread messages (now 99+ Pixel 4a) and private messages not separated into a PM specific notification so easily missed
The app never opens.. always says "An error has occurred, please try after sometime".
Can't see or upload a profile picture, can't post 29-50 photos, loading times useless
Pretty useless app. Can't sort chronologically. Very difficult to find prior posts unless you remember a distinct keyword. It's a dumber version of Facebook.
This app has gotten much better and offers a decent experience. There is, however, one fundamental bug. The app currently shows 35 new items in the inbox which doesn't store any unread items. That's pretty annoying because it shows on my home screen and makes it difficult to see if there are some really new notifications I need to pay attention to.
I cannot believe how Microsoft can allow itself such a buggy, unreliable app. 9 out of 10 cases when I receive a notification for a reply, message or anything, if I tap it, I will be redirected to an error page and I have to force close the app and clean it's cache (and sometimes data as well). Posts and replies go missing, sometimes it says I can't post due to error, but shows the post an hour later... It's a constant roller coaster.
Keep getting random notifications about my communicates, then it always says its been deleted or something. Stupid app
It's not working in mobile... Getting error as "run time experience"
Terribly unorganized, very challenging to use for people who arent already experienced users. User experience on the lowest level. No way of chronologically sorting posts, for example, or having all private messages in one place, or uploading anything more than a simple document, or opting out of being notified for every single reply to conversations you sent one reply to.... Overall not a platform you would want to use if you dont like having your time and effort wasted.
I have been using the app for almost 3 years now for work, and have had very few problems. I would have given the app 5 stars. I had some issues with the content and organizations loading, but then was able to correct the issue via help from the developer- i had to Uninstall and the reinstall the app, and resign in, but it worked. Giving the app 5 stars once again.
Work here at a new place and it's a cool app to keep upto date on things
Yammer generally works well for our organisation and on the whole has been very beneficial in my opinion. I find there is some functionality available on the website that is missing from the app. Only minor things, but for example I can't seem to cut and paste text from posts using the app, and I might want to do this if a colleague has posted something I want to act on that needs to be transferred to my calendar. Also when writing a post I don't appear to be able to "add additional people" to be notified in the same way I can on the website. Another observation regards Yammer generally is I have quite often found the search function to be lacking, and have had difficulty finding documents for example using search.
App is awful, no control over keyboard or functions. Search facility also a waste of time
I love it .Yammer is a place where people seek and also where people can give guidence on solutions to issues or situations that outside from traditional or known ways of solutions. It is also divided into various sections where people can update others about their lives or situations or where one can see company's news or updates. It is also a great site or app where the company or departments from the company make announcements. It offers interaction among all members of the company worldwide.
For some reason the app won't accept my work email but using my internet browser it will log straight in.
Excellent platform for all Social media Enthusiasts. Works very smoothly whenever I login.
It's awful! Says there's an error every time I open the app, have to log out and in again. It's clunky, and not user friendly. It's a shame our organisation has decided to use it. Not a pleasant experience.
