A touch to perfection. If only a language setting just as chrome existed. To every website!also dark mode recommended. It could be possible, not as a third party app, but as basic to enable dark mode in settings. Also at the bottom of Yandex apps , a language preference should be put. And a beta version with translating devs around globe.
5 stars just for the image search functionality alone. I get all giddy every time i jump on here, whether its to gather ideas for my next art project or just vegging out on all the pictures (for 4+ hours 🤷) this search engine consistently hits the mark on what im looking for (always the first time too) while also digging up what feel like latent curiosities buried in my subconscious via the tag suggestions. I almost feel violated (kidding..) This can't be overstated - PLEASE DONT BECOME GOO-
Good work! You guys are probably what google used to be in the 90s, when you searched for stuff and you actually found it and several times even. Please carry on even if the playstore gets salty and bans you because how dare you have an actual functional product. Anyways I am having trouble finding the option to search by image. It is one of my favorite features of the site, I use it a lot to find the source of artwork that gets reposted without credits. Is this a function of the app or no?
Spam app: it was automatically installed in default phone pack against my will. Requred to waste time to find a way to strict prevent auto install, i.e. to prevent this to ever appear on my phone, even with default pack. Use USB debug for this without connecting phone to internet.
I think the app is not particularly useful if you don't speak Russian or if you use other Yandex apps already. However, the Yandex Image Search functionality is FANTASTIC! The results are consistently better than those of Google's Image Search. The Yandex algorithm just "gets it". I am really impressed and the fact that you can search for images quite comfortably with this app is worth 4 stars alone.
Bravo! Russia... Better than other related apps. Keep it up and be strong! One request, please allow all your applications to have an option to choose from different languages so that people all around the world can understand your efforts, opinions, reasons, logic and most importantly the truth... Thanks.
💯 perfect. Years of using this, safe and secure. It doesn't matter where you are in the world it just works fine. I never had any issues or crushes or anything. It was heavy at first, but now it's better n lighter than Brave 500MB of space, Google better 400MB dear Lord how many apps will you have. 😀 Thanks Ydx
Amazing as it's one of the only Android browsers to support extensions, but you have to type browser://extensions to get to the menu to control them - hopefully they just add an extensions button in the burger menu.
I have been using Yandex services such as email, browser, and search engine for many years now and have always felt safe and confident using it. Very user-friendly, convenient, and well-designed. Thank you very much! Looking forward on using more services as I learn.
I still find it difficult to believe there's a browser better than Google Chrome, Safari or edge. Yandex is the best browser have used.
Excellent app, especially for reverse image searching, and seamless. Language issue seems to be resolved .
All is great but please add a language Option even if it's only an English option at first that would be great. Right now the app makes non Russian speaking users get very frustrated

This is very good application.But there is a problem with the language. Keep English language also so that it can work in India also.
Would it be possible to disable the left/right swiping by an option??? just slightly swiping to the side it interprets it as a side swipe, whilst I only want to scroll down: It thinks a movement is a sideswipe way to easily, otherwise great.

I was trying to use this for QR login, and it just doesn't work. First of all, it doesn't seem to have proper support for more than one account; there's no proper way to switch accounts in the UI. Second, after I did use the "[*]" button to QR login on a laptop, this button has since disappeared from this app, and there doesn't seem to be any way to bring it back, so, I cannot QR login again, since no way to bring back the camera in this app.
This app is not useful at all.its only for Russians.they think everyone can understands their language or they can't write in English then must include (Russians only) on top of the app.
No option to setup account without mobile number 🤦 Shame because I was really looking forward to using browser which wasn't developed by the West.
Hmm, you can't turn off data collecting, can't choose language, can't choose appropriate country or region (other than the measly selection hard-coded), language is a useless mix of EN/RU. All in all, sadly not an app that can be recommended. The biggest issue is still the fact that you cannot turn off data collecting, which is a clear no-go. Don't know if this is possible if you're logged in, but that still wouldn't be good enough. Disappointing experience.
A lot of room for improvement. Most of it is in Russian, which is great if you know Russian! Not so much if you don't. Installed the app to try to run chrome extensions however seems like that was disabled. Also tried to request desktop website but the option isn't where yandex support webpage points to. All in all, might be the future but for now there is a lot to improve so will uninstall.
The app interface still displays in Russian only, but there is one feature of it that I found is very useful and the only one that displays in English. The feature is "Caller ID" which can detect and notify (in English) about any call with ads from almost any organization and it even can detect a call from scams too. I was going to reinstall OS on my phone just to get rid of this app (cause it was made unremoveable), but after I experienced the mentioned feature of the app I decided to keep it.
Garbage. Never seems to work and this is an email that I need to use (not by choice) just fails all the time. Out of 100 attempts to get into my email I'll be lucky to get on twice. Edit: I can't even get into your support page so I've emailed you from the email provided here on google.
Great app. Good alternative. However, a lot of Russian language. Too bad.
Please provide built in translator like chrome and Microsoft edge .. everything is good .👍👍👍
The platform is good, but the problem is i can't open the russia today or even sputnik news, it says error 403
I don't understand Russian language and there is no translate option on this app while I read A news feed. Answer : yep the app displayed news feed in Russian language
Who would've thought that Yandex was actually the best alternative to Google out there? I'm very impressed. As a westerner, it feels strange to dip into a digital ecosystem that isn't Google or Apple but with how clean and simple and easy Yandex all is, I'm pretty sure this suite of apps is worth trusting my data towards. Congratulations Russia. Very good work here.
